Not to rain on anyone's parade but I think the only beneficial alcohol is wine (thus the French paradox).

I'm honestly not sure if beer is beneficial, but it sure tastes good (the craft-brewed ones, anyway).

BTW, Welcome to the forum, Debbie Downer.

I'm a huge fan of the Stone brewery, and I love AB. If you get a chance, try Stone's "Levitation Ale".

I'm having a Sierra Nevada right now.
I believe it is one of stones' main breweries and it's about 20 mins up the road from me. It was 25 bucks and you could go in and taste all the brews they had going on at the moment.

I could dig it.
But now escondido is COMPLETELY taken over by mexicans.
Another social activity down the drain.

Fuckin sad.

Whole milk as prescribed by my WN friends.

Also, the blood of my enemies.

Stella Artois Lager.

Brewery opened in the (early) 14th Century.

Life is good.

I never knew this thread existed. Anyway, I'm currently drinking Heineken. Not quite as good as Stella Artois, but it'll do.

I'm the resident VNNF beer geek. Been a home brewer for years.

If you like Heineken, get hold of some Prima Pils from the Victory brewery in PA.

Although depending on your location, distribution might be an issue.

Heineken is alright, Stella Artois is better, but I can't drink the same beer over and over which is why I'm drinking Heineken now instead of Stella. But since you mentioned Prima Pils I will look for it and try it.

If you like Pilsners, I would recommend, Pilsner Urquell from the Czech Republic. It's a good beer.

I love Pilsner Urquell, there are two bottles in the fridge as I speak.

I'm mostly an ale drinker, but the summer months have me drinking more lagers, and frankly enjoying them more than I had expected.

Grape juice at the moment. Just took a handful of vitamins and supplements. Some drinks like iced tea inhibit the absorption of vitamin C. Additionally, grape juice is the only juice I can find that doesn't contain man-made 'natural flavors.'

It's also the only juice I can find that doesn't import the product from China. Apple juices almost always contain apples from China. I don't trust Chinese food products.

Fucking squid.

I did buy some seedless red grapes today. I swear I'm going to ask my wife to feed them to me while I, in a home-made toga, swill European lager & watch our cats fight to the death in the arena.

Well, not death, actually.

More like they ignore each other, but the grapes are nice, and, Irish though I may be, I have the calves to rock this toga.

Hehe, yeah lagers are great for when you want to get rowdy.

Which ales do you like?

A quick aside about OTPTT (Tony):

He was a Navy corpsman assigned to a USMC unit. I'm a Marine.

Which means he is, or at least at one time was, a very brave man.

All of 'em?

My favorite style of beer is India Pale Ale, I've tried well over 200 different brands of IPA.

Have you tried Sierra Nevada Pale Ale?

Nope, never have, though I have seen it on store shelves.
I'll try it out though, since you've mentioned it.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is rightfully revered as a classic pale ale in the craft beer community.

I'm pretty sure I have a review of it on our beer review thread.

Try it, you will enjoy it. They (Sierra Nevada) brew great beer.

Dale's Pale Ale - On tap - 6.6% ABV.

Not right now, but in about an hour.
