What are your views of the use of torture ?

If I'm not mistaken , the U.N. currently is busy moving on against the use of torture worldwide . . . there even used to be a site online called torturewatch.org . . it is no longer there.

How do you view the use of torture to achieve political goals . . .?

I'm going to go into the lion's den and say that torture is just blatantly wrong . . .

I may be a racialist but what do people wish to achieve by torture . . . ?


One of its effects, on a side note , is that people may be forced towards false admissions . . .
Torture was used in the Middle Ages and continues to today . . .

You know , like "get re-educated" . . .

On a side note : I KNOW that the U.N. ( see above ) is NOT what it purports to be ( into supposed 'human rights' . . ) but rather the precursor of the global totalitarian government ( and , who knows , maybe they are just sanctimonious and , after they have supposedly outlawed torture on a national basis maybe they will install torture for the sake of internationalism . .? ) , yet , worth a thought . . .
