Cat Dead for 12 Years Gets Voter Registration Form in the Mail

Cody Tims of Atlanta recently received a voter application in the mail. The problem? Cody has been dead for 12 years. And he’s a cat.

According to Fox 5 Atlanta, owner Ron Tims found the application addressed to Cody in the mail on Wednesday.

“We have a voter registration application for Cody Tims! How did this happen? It's not reality, he's a cat and he's been dead for a long time,” said Carol Tims. The family holds Cody’s ashes in a green container."
