The blame for the attack on Yugoslavia lies squarely with the British who orchestrated the blood bath in the Balkans as it was in their Jewish masters' interest to do so. Hitler clearly mentions it in his speech and states that he can not under any circumstances allow Britain to have a foothold in Yugoslavia and that the action he was undertaking was necessary in order to help defend the continent from the forces of Judeo Capitalism and Bolshevism.

13th SS Reconnaissance detachment linked up with 1st Home Defense Mountain Brigade on western slopes of Majevica. 28th Regiment moves across Mackovac and after fighting around Priboj pushes 38th Division south.

3rd Corps of NOVJ decided to withdraw 16th and 36th Vojvodina division from Majevica further south in area of Birac and Srebrenica while leaving 38th Division on Majevica but it was soon clear that 38th has to withdraw towards Birac on 20th June taking with her 200 wounded.

Joint operation of 7th and 13th SS Mountain divisions now part of 5th SS Mountain Corps with goal of destruction of 16th Vojvodina, 17th Eastern Bosnian and 36th Vojvodina divisions of 3rd Corps NOVJ which were attempting to cross Drina river from Bosnia into Serbia under orders from Tito. Increasing partisan radio communications allowed German intelligence easily brake partisan codes and discover there plans allowing German commanders to launch attacks against potential threats.

Another operation based on intelligence info received from decrypting partisan radio messages. Ordered by commander of 13th SS Division, Gruppenführer Karl-Gustav Sauberzweig, with goal of preventing partisans forces advancing north towards Majevica, Posavina and Semberija.

Plan was for attack at dawn of 8th June 1944 at 3.45 a.m.

1st and 2nd Battalion from 27. SS Regiment to attack south towards Visoka Glava and Jasenica with support of 2nd Battery located in Donja Trnova
1st Battalion from 28. SS Regiment to hold heights around Priboja covering position of 6th and 7th Battery and after attack starts it will link up with
4th Battalion from 28. SS Regiment which was in Lopare
Plan was expecting partisans to bypass Lopare and Priboj in there advance but instead they launched direct assault knowing that I./28. SS was filled with new recruits forcibly mobilized in Posavina and Majevica with almost zero training. Attack was started by 1st Brigade of 16th Vojvodina Division NOVJ at 6 p.m. on 8th June with its 4th and 5th Battalion attacking I./28. SS. After one hour being late 2nd Brigade of 16th Division joins the assault.


After operation Gruppenführer Sauberzweig claimed 3000 dead partisans, while some German report claimed 1586 dead partisans vs. 205 dead, 528 wounded and 89 missing from 13th SS Division. 16th Division of NOVJ claimed 230 dead and wounded and 30 captured enemy soldiers while its 1st and 2nd Brigade suffered 57 dead, 174 wounded and 26 missing.

Counterattack of II./28. prevented 16th Division to capitalize on its success and it only managed to take 60 rifles, six MG-42 and two Bergmann M-34, 1 mortar, 13 pistols, 20.000 Mauser rounds, 100 pair of shoes, 180 uniforms, 60-70 horses... forcing it to quickly destroy 6 out of 8 captured howitzers, trucks, several cars, two motorcycles also leaving large number of shells intact.

We can see the great 'accomplishments' of the Handzar Division. They would rather murder/rape civilians, burn and plunder villages than fight the partizans.

By the way the Handschar was the local word for the Turkish scimitar {which the turks used to chop heads of white European christians in the Balkans during the Ottoman Empire} a historical symbol of Islam. An image of the Turkish Handschar adorned the division's flag and coat of arms.
Of course the Germans were desperate and that is the reason this non European Islamist scum was 'used'.

Had the war ended successfully for Germany I have no doubt that these muslim turkic vermin would eventually have been destroyed.

Villefranche-de-Rouergue Mutiny (September 1943}

On 17 September, 1943 while the Handschar was garrisoned in Villefranche-de-Rouergue (France), a group of recruits led by Ferid Džanić staged a mutiny. They captured most of the Germans and executed five German officers. Apparently the mutineers believed that many of the enlisted men would join them and they could reach the western Allies. The revolt was put down with the assistance of the unit imam, Halim Malkoč and Dr. Schweiger. Approximately 20 of the rebels were killed summarily or after a trial. The Germans were convinced that they were communists who had infiltrated the unit in order to disrupt it. Afterwards there was a purge of members of the unit who were deemed "unsuitable for service" or "politically unsuitable". More than 800 were removed from the unit and sent to Germany for "labor service". Of those, 265 who refused to work were sent to Neuengamme Concentration Camp where many of them died. When the city was liberated in 1944, they decided to pay tribute to the troops by naming one of its streets Avenue des Croates. According to Louis Erignac, Villefranche-de-Rouergue was the first free city of occupied France.

The Serbian Chetniks/Ljoticevci/SDK in Serbia were much more successful against the partizans than this muslim scum.

I agree,
we all know what will's happend if Adolf win in this war.
But maybe someone miss my point.My point is that this Handzar division was iniciated from germany side..and commander was germans.

It's true that this division also burn villages..how I say before-Germans was commander and politics in that time want clean NDH from all non europian elements...
