Public School book sales
Have found quite a few books from school book sales. This is when schools sell off their older books in favor of new ones. Unfortunately this is horrible for students as books like Hans Christian Andersen and books on European history are sold off in order to make way for more Maya Angelo and Toni Morrison books. It is a great place to find good books cheap. I found a book called "Discovering Our Heritage: Sweden" with the word "DISCARD" stamped inside the front and back covers. It now has a home on my bookshelf.
Book sales: worth a visit. |

Colleges frequently have "friends of the library" type groups that sell off books from the library at irregular book sales. Got some nice books from Franklin & Marshal college that way. Either age, or challenge to pc got them thrown out.
