Hess the unanswered questions
We all know the mysteries and conspiracies surrounding the Hess mission.I wasted a lot of time on the issue 1974- 1987 to no avail. In revue I could not identify how it could aid the cause anyway so wrote it off as wasted effort. i just choopped out a chunk of "opinion" it can wait.
Here is the first clue Princess Caroline is married to a German Billionaire the Prince of Hanover V who's admirable claim to fame is that he was photographed pissing on the turkish pavilion at Expo 2000.Now this blighter is a regular in the gossip columns anything he does is potentially newsworthy. It follows that there should/would be great media interest in his father a hot nazi and billionaire and more importantly the best man at the wedding of Lord David Dougla Hamilton the YOUNGEST son of the 13th Duke.It is the oldest son the enemy always trundle out who with a bemused look and sincerely baffled by Hess's attention to him.So much so that during the war he sued and won libel cases all the while seeking to bring Hess as a witness. The libelers always folded at that point and paid up. Now why is this controversial Prince's NAZI dad, anglophile and billionaire anti semite virtually entirely absent from the internet ? He even won a post war court case to get back his English title as Duke of Cumberland. So what was this Prince up to between 1926 and 1945 ? HRH Ernst August IV, Prince of Hanover, Hereditary Prince of Brunswick, Prince of Great Britain and Ireland Born 1914 died 1987 Hopefully someone in a Third Reich forum can fill in the missing years. As a footnote I note the enemy dug up an obscure elderly British Prince who lived in Germany during the nazi period was this another attempt to muddy the waters ?

Are you trying to prove that prominent British nobles were planning to meet with Hess upon his arrival to work on peace negotiations?

I just lost a massive post, suffice to say over 2oo have looked at this thread if anyone had anything on Ernst August beyond the sparse wiki they would have posted it.That as a given what do we have ?
Multi billionaire German Prince with British titles dies a multi billionaire as late as 1987.An early nazi party member who never recanted after the war.His son is a target for the paparazzi yet his Dad's past is never mentioned.Certainly not in regard to Hess who was a personal friend of Ernst August. The enemy press is never normally so reticent any hint of a nazi descendant normally gets a mention, not in this case.Yet his sister the Queen of Greece who's daughter is the current Queen of Spain is never mentioned without reference to her BDM membership. So Ernst August best man at the wedding of Lord David Douglas - Hamilton to Prunella Stack Leader of Britain's KdF,The British Women’s League of Health and Beauty. The biggest ever women's organisation ever formed in the UK.They honeymooned in Austria during the plebiscite to endorse the anschluss and took a full part in the celebrations with their German and Austrian friends.Prunella Stack like her husband was a full on nazi to be going on with here are two unusual pictures Prunella Stack and Reichsfrauenführerin Gertrud Scholtz-Klink,and Scholtz-Klink with her usual chums including Hess

“The spirit of Hitler is not dead.” – Gertrud Scholtz-Klink
Gertrud Scholtz-Klink became a Nazi in her 20s and when she died in her 90s, she was still a fanatical Nazi. On February 28, 1948, a force of American and French soldiers, and German policemen burst into the rooms of a middle-aged couple living in Bebenhausen Castle in the tiny village of Bebenhausen near Tubingen in Germany’s French zone. Herr Heinrich and Frau Maria Stuckebrock had been living quietly in Bebenhausen Castle for three years. Herr Stuckebrock, 51, spent much of his time plowing and planting a garden on a former German Army parade ground near the Castle. Frau Stuckebrock, 46, made Christmas tree decorations and other crafts from colored paper and pine cones. In May of 1945, the Allied forces defeated the Third Reich, and Gertrud and her husband fled Berlin. As they traveled, she was caught in the crossfire between German and American troops and wounded five times. The Soviets briefly held Gertrud and August in a prisoner of war camp, but they managed to escape and she and her husband picked up their youngest child and made their way to Nazi sympathizer Princess Pauline of Wurtemberg in Bebenhausen Castle. Gertrud and her husband had hidden in plain sight in the rooms of Bebenhausen Castle for three years, but now once again, their enemies had discovered their hiding place. The German, French, and American police force arrested the two former Nazi leaders and led them away. The authorities also arrested Pauline, Princess of Wurtemberg, 71, who had helped them escape the Soviets and settled them in Bebenhausen, which had been part of her kingdom. The princess left prison on bail, but the United States authorities took charge of the fugitive Heissmeyers who both faced trials and de-nazification. In 1933, Hitler came to power and he appointed Gertrud Fuhrer of The National Socialist Women’s Union, a position that she held until 1945, and head of the Woman’s League. In 1936, the Nazi Party also appointed Gertrud Director of the National Socialist Welfare Organization and awarded her the Gold Medal of the NSDAP, an honor the Nazis presented to people they considered role models for the National Socialist Society. Her prison sentence completed in 1953, Gertrud returned to Bebenhausen Castle and lived quietly there for the rest of her life. In 1978, she wrote a book called The Woman in the Third Reich, which she dedicated to the “victims of the Nuremburg trials.” For the rest of her life, Gertrud lived these lines and she showed her continued support for National Socialist ideology. In the 1980s, she defended her National Socialist beliefs in an interview with historian Claudia Koonz and continued to defend and live her National Socialist beliefs until her death on March 24, 1999.

From Prunella Stack's obituary we find these snippets
Prunella Stack met David Douglas-Hamilton in 1937, when his older brother, soon to inherit the dukedom but then the Unionist MP for East Renfrew, asked her to open a school swimming pool by diving into the water. She and David shared a love of mountaineering and a common idealism; at their first meeting the young Scot told Prunella that he was keen to start a fitness summer school in the Highlands. Douglas-Hamilton took Prunella Stack climbing in the Alps and introduced her to his future best man, Prince Ernst August of Hanover, whom he had met when both men were undergraduates at Balliol College, Oxford, along with Adam von Trott, the Prussian aristocrat who would be executed in 1944 for his part in the conspiracy to assassinate Hitler. Douglas-Hamilton’s German contacts led Prunella Stack to take a group of League members to Hamburg in late 1938, where Kraft durch Freude (Strength through Joy), the agency that arranged cultural activities and holidays for German workers, was organising a Congress of Physical Fitness with delegations from 32 countries. Unlike in the years immediately preceding the First World War, in the late 1930s Britain was keen to prepare itself for the future. “KEEP FIT” was a slogan used in advertising everything from gin and whisky to beef broth, milk and bananas. Prunella Stack carried the flag at the Hamburg Congress and led the marching British delegation. Life magazine declared that she had the most photographed legs in Britain. In March 1939 a German contingent paid a return visit to study the British fitness campaign at first hand. The Douglas-Hamiltons were invited to a dinner at Claridge’s in honour of the delegation’s leader, Frau Gertrud Scholtz-Klink, the 36-year-old leader of Germany’s National Socialist Womanhood, whom Hitler described as “the perfect Nazi woman”. All contacts with Germany ceased, however, when war was declared six months later — although the Douglas-Hamiltons’ ties with Germany were possibly what led the deputy Fuhrer, Rudolf Hess, to fly to Lennoxlove, the Duke of Hamilton’s ancestral Scottish home, in 1941 in a doomed attempt to end the war. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obit...lla-Stack.html
