Remember what a famous non-black said:

It ain't what you don't know (that hurts you), it's what you know that just ain't so.

You should be more discriminating in what you accept into your mind. Make sure it's true, not just something you want to believe.

Claims of black invention are usually bogus. That's not denying some blacks can contribute. But the tiny minority that can, can only do it from a white civilizational basis.

There's also the fact that the amount of white inventive capacity lost to black violence infinitely outweighs the modest contributions blacks have made. I think of, for example, Eric Bish, a man who developed new strains of strawberries. Murdered in a post office in North Carolina by a dime-a-dozen 80-IQ simian. This is the cost we pay to allow you animals among us, and the time will come when we stopy paying it, and make you and the jews who sicced your race on ours refund it with interest.

OK...this is an accomplishment, not because of the fact she is black but because she is a woman. This is not an easy field for a woman...

I agree. It is always great as a woman to see women in difficult fields that are considered to be "for men".

Especially in that era, she must have some real talent.

Now, I'm not trying to start an flame war but, I'd like to know why do we need Black History Month? It seems as though these people stand out in their fields and do not need a special month.

What's nigger history month without the jokes?

Some old ones, but good ones....

Why is February the shortest month?
Because it's black history month.

How do we know Noah was a White man?
No black man could stay on a boat for 40 days without eating the chickens.

A man walks into a bar with a picture of a cat, he tells the bartender it's $100 for the picture and $100 for the story behind it. The bartender says he'll take the picture, but doesn't care about the story. At the end of his shift he throws it in the backseat of his car and drives home. He notices thousands of cats following his car! He gets worried and stops on a bridge and throws the picture off, the thousands of cats jump off too, following the picture. The next day the same man comes into the bar, he asks the bartender if he's ready for the story behind the picture. The bartender says, "No, but if you have a picture of martin luther king, jr I'll take it!"

What do you call a black hitchhiker?
Stranded.

A White guy and a black guy shared a house. One day the house burnt down and only the White guy lived. Why?
The White guy was at work.

What do you call two blacks on one bike?
Organized crime.

Why are blacks getting stronger?
T.V.s are getting bigger.

What happened to the Negress who had an abortion?
Crime Stoppers sent her a check for $500!

Why do Negroes call white people "honkies"?
Thats the last sound they hear before they get hit!

Why is there no black Miss America pageant?
Nobody wants to be Miss Idaho.

What do you call an Ethiopian on a hunger strike?
An Ethiopian.

Why does Stevie Wonder always smile?
He doesn't know he's black.

What does a Negro give his kid for his birthday?
YOUR bike!

How do we know Adam wasn't black?
Ever try taking a rib from a black guy?

Why do Negroes always have nice clothes, jewelry and cars but still live in shitty houses?
They haven't figured out how to steal houses yet.

A woman meets a black guy and invites him back to her place. She handcuffs herself to the bed and screams, "Do what you black men do best!". So he grabs the TV and runs!

What's a black man's fortune cookie? A piece of cornbread with a food stamp in the middle!

What's the worst thing you can call a black man, starting with N and ending with R?
Neighbor.

A redneck is driving down the road one day and sees a sign that says coon season is in. He goes a bit farther down the road and see a field of Negroes picking watermelons. He stops, takes out his gun and starts shooting. A cop comes up and asks him what he's doing so he says, "I saw a sign back there that said coon season was in!" The cop says, "yeah, but you're hunting in a baited field!"

What's the difference between a nigger and a snow tire?

A snow tire doesn't sing when you put chains on it.

I think that minorities in general(as there are other heritage months just lesser known) feel as if there isn't enough education on American accomplishments made by people of their ethnicity.

I personally feel that black american history, asian american history, hispanic american history and so forth is just apart of american history, but personally speaking I never learned about most of these people in school.

Sidney Poitier
A native of Cat Island, The Bahamas, (though born in Miami during a mainland visit by his
parents), Poitier grew up in poverty as the son of a dirt farmer. He had little formal education and at the age of 15 was sent to Miami to live with his brother, in order to forestall a growing tendency toward delinquency. In the U.S., Poitier first experienced the racial chasm that divides the country, a great shock to a boy coming from a society with a black majority. A determination to find and create opportunities for blacks was born in him because of the poor treatment he received on the streets of Miami. At 18, he went to New York, did menial jobs and slept in a bus terminal toilet. A brief stint in the Army as a worker at a veteran's hospital was followed by more menial jobs in Harlem. An impulsive audition at the American Negro Theatre was rejected so forcefully that Poitier dedicated the next six months to overcoming his accent and performance ineptness. On his second try, he was accepted. He was spotted in a rehearsal and given a bit part in a Broadway production of"Lysistrata," for which he got excellent reviews. By the end of 1949, he was having to choose between leading roles on stage and an offer to work for Darryl F. Zanuck in the film No Way Out (1950). Poitier's performance as a doctor treating a white bigot got him plenty of notice and led to more roles each considerably more interesting and prominent than most black actors of the time were getting. Nevertheless, the roles were still less interesting and prominent than those white actors routinely obtained. But seven years ater, after turning down several projects he considered demeaning, Poitier got a number of roles that catapulted him into a category rarely if ever achieved by a black man of that time, that of starring leading man. One of the films, The Defiant Ones (1958), gave Poitier his first Academy Award nomination as Best Actor. Five years later, he won the Oscar for Lilies of the Field (1963), the first black to win for a leading role. Poitier maintained activity on stage, on screen, and in the burgeoning Civil Rights movement. His roles in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967) and To Sir, with Love(1967) were for their time landmarks in the breaking down of socia barriers between blacks and whites, and Poitier's talent, conscience ntegrity, and inherent likability placed him on equal footing with the white stars of the day. He took on directing and producing chores in the Seventies, achieving success in both arenas. Although he has reduced the frequency of his roles in recent years, he remains one of the most respected and beloved figures in American cinema of the twentieth century.

That is because most parents object to teaching drunkeness, dope using, car jacking, murder, lying, raping, stealing, laziness, pimping, pushing drugs, race mixing, and overall peversion in the schools.

Sidney Poitier AKA over-rated Hollyvitz house schwarz. If that hambone couldn't talk fancy he'd be no more right now than 'gran-pap' to a dozen other Bahamian dirt farmers.

Harry Belafonte
Harold George " Harry" Belafonte, Jr. (originally Belafonete; born March 1 1927) is an American of Jamaican and Martinician descent who is a singer actor, and social activist. One of the most successful pop singers in history, he was dubbed the "King of Calypso" -- a title which he was very reluctant to accept (according to the documentary Calypso Dreams) -- for popularizing the Caribbean musical style with an international audience in the 1950s. Belafonte s perhaps best known for singing the " Banana Boat Song", with its signature yric " Day-O." Throughout his career, he has been an advocate for civil rights and humanitarian causes, and was a vocal critic of the policies of the George W. Bush.

Belafonte was the first black man to win an Emmy, with his first solo TV specia Tonight with Belafonte (1959). During the 1960s he appeared in a number of TV specials, alongside such artists as Julie Andrews, Petula Clark, Lena Horne, and Nana Mouskouri. He was also a guest star on a memorable episode of The Muppet Show in 1978, in which he sang his signature song "Day-O" on television for the very first time. However, the episode is best known for Belafonte singing the spiritual song, "Turn the World Around," that is performed with Muppets designed like African tribal masks. It has become one of the most famous performances in the series. It was reported to be Jim Henson's favorite episode, and Belafonte did a reprise of the song at Henson's memorial in 1990. "Turn the World Around" was also included in the 2005 official hymnal supplement of the Unitarian Universalist Association, "Singing the Journey".
