Detectives investigating Jimmy Savile have been passed the names of three doctors accused of molesting youngsters, it emerged last night

They abused children at the same hospitals where the late entertainer preyed on young and vulnerable patients, it can be revealed.

One victim told the Mail she was groped aged 12 by a Stoke Mandeville doctor who had a Jim'll Fix It picture on his wall.


Another woman, who named a separate doctor, is convinced there was a 'sex abuse ring' operating at the Buckinghamshire hospital.

There are now demands for a full independent inquiry into how Savile was given easy access to his victims at children's homes and NHS hospitals, as well as at the BBC. So far, no NHS trust has apologised for Savile – despite him being given the keys to Broadmoor, a bedroom room at Stoke Mandeville and free rein of Leeds General Infirmary.

As the list of his victims grew, a former Stoke Mandeville nurse yesterday waived her anonymity to tell how Savile assaulted her in her bedroom, while a hospital volunteer said the star raped her while wearing a 'Sex instructor, first lesson free' T-shirt.

Scotland Yard is preparing to examine claims a powerful paedophile network may have had links to Downing Street and a former prime minister.

Labour MP Tom Watson shocked the Commons yesterday by alleging there was ‘clear intelligence’ linking a former Number 10 aide with a notorious group of sex offenders.

He has compiled a dossier allegations for the Metropolitan Police, which is currently dealing with hundreds of allegations of abuse against Jimmy Savile.


Scotland Yard today said the number of the broadcaster's victims was 'fast approaching' 300, with 400 separate lines of inquiry.

Meanwhile 160 people alone have complained of abuse to the NSPCC since the scale of Savile's paedophilia was revealed.

But the scandal was widened yesterday when Mr Watson suggested a Number 10 insider was named in files connected to the conviction of a child porn smuggler in the early 1990s.

Writing on his blog Mr Watson said: 'I have no doubt the Met will take this seriously.'

He said he has written to Met Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe with more details of the case, which he said would 'obviously remain confidential'.

I found a blog a couple of years ago (whilst Savile was still alive) which listed quite a few allegations about the Downing St grooming ring but there's so many links now about Savile that's it's impossible to find. I know it mentioned Savile being responsible for procuring young boys for these parties but I can't remember much else.

Dutroux was walking around in general population in prison until a hapless British ex para found himself banged up in the same boob.In the aftermath the Brit was drugged and sectioned and it took two years to get him out though he did administer a severe hiding to the bastard.Funnily enough because said para had an Irish father the jewish shrinks were convinced his father was a wife beater which only enraged him more.The UK embassy would not get involved at all.

A woman says she was repeatedly molested by Jimmy Savile in the fish and chip restaurant where she worked as a 14-year-old - a dreadful experience that inspired her to become a child protection officer.

Faye Sarr, 27, is a now a social worker in Yorkshire and said she was 'groomed' by Savile, then in his 70s, who laughed as he groped her.

As well as touching her all over her body, on one occasion the paedophile pushed her up against a wall and forced kisses on her.

Ms Sarr broke her silence as the Metropolitan Police revealed there are at least 300 victims who were attacked by the DJ.

Police also raided Savile’s secluded Scottish holiday home as they pursued more than 400 lines of inquiry.

Ms Sarr said her abuse lasted six months while she worked at Marlows Fish and Chip Restaurant in Roundhay, where Savile lived in Leeds.

As the Jimmy Savile scandal deepens, comedian Jim Davidson has claimed that within the near future, a “Savile number two” household name celeb will be unmasked as a predatory paedophile.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror reports that arrests in the Savile case are “imminent” and it’s understood that several celebrities will be questioned with regard to allegations of child sex abuse.

Police Commander Peter Spindler, who’s heading up the inquiries, told the paper, “I have no doubt that we are in watershed moment for child abuse investigation and this will be a landmark investigation.

“I want to praise the courage of the 300 or so who have come forward.”

The paper adds, “The celebrities named by victims – some huge household names – are set to be quizzed over serious sex assault allegations within days. Other suspects who have been named are believed to include former BBC staff.”

Revealing the “arrest strategy” that’s been drawn up by his 30-strong team of Metropolitan police officers, Commander Spindler added, “There is Savile but there are also others and if those others are living we can now look at them.

“We are dealing with a major crime investigation here.

“There’s Savile on his own, and that’s the vast majority of what we’re being told about, there’s Savile and others.

“And it’s the others, if they’re living, we can look at them. Then there is a third category which is ‘others’.”

A source added, “It is now to be determined how seriously these claims should be taken.”

It emerged yesterday that Savile had been investigated for an alleged sex attack – which reportedly took place on BBC premises – in the eighties.

A retired police officer has apparently come forward to say that he carried out an inquiry, but there wasn’t enough evidence to prosecute.

A mother-of-three who drank enough to 'knock out a bull elephant' faces jail after molesting two schoolboys at a friend’s 50th birthday party.

Amanda Wheeler, 31, kissed and groped a 12-year-old boy on a bench, rubbed her breasts against teenagers she was dancing with at the party and performed sex acts on two boys in a bedroom.

Worcester Crown Court heard the part-time cleaner had been drinking vodka, beer and wine throughout the evening.

A jury found Wheeler, from Barbourne in Worcester, guilty of four counts of sexual activity with a child and one of sexual assault.

She was acquitted of a sixth charge of sexual activity with a child, the maximum sentence for which is 14 years in prison.

Judge Patrick Thomas QC granted her bail while pre-sentence and psychological reports were prepared.

He said it was 'a very difficult case' but added he had not yet considered what sentence he should pass.

During the two-week trial, the jury heard Wheeler drank vodka, wine and beer before attending the 50th birthday bash in November last year.

On her way there, she kissed and groped a 12-year-old boy on a bench. On arrival she started 'dirty dancing' a group of teenagers, asking one boy for sex and rubbing herself against the shocked teens.

After midnight Wheeler molested two boys, aged 13 and 14, in a bedroom. The jury was told she pulled the 14-year-old’s trousers down before performing a sex act on him, and forced a 13-year-old to carry out a sex act on her while his private parts were exposed.

James Dunstan, prosecuting, said Wheeler’s behaviour that night had been 'highly flirtatious' while she was trapped 'in a drunken bubble'.

In a video interview with police the 13-year-old boy said Wheeler pounced on him and his 12-year-old friend after plying them with strong Stella Artois lager.



He claimed the trio left her home to go to a party nearby but stopped to sit on a bench in a field.

The victim told officers Wheeler hugged the younger boy 'in a friendly way', before she 'tried to snog him'.

The boy, who is now 14, said she then turned to him, tried to pull down his trousers and bit his neck.

He said she told him she wanted to perform a sex act on him, which made him feel 'disgusted'.


Later at the birthday party the boy said he saw Wheeler 'dirty dancing' with a 15-year-old and asking him for sex, but he refused.

The boy said she then moved over to him and rubbed her breasts on his chest and stomach, before nuzzling his neck and hugging him.

One of the victims told the court he asked Wheeler to stop but she refused and he did not want to push her and hurt her so let her carry on.

Wheeler, who had denied all the offences, told the jury she had an alcohol problem and was taking tablets for depression.

Samantha Forsyth, defending said Wheeler had been 'monumentally stupid' after drinking enough to 'knock out a bull elephant'.

Wheeler will be sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court in January. She was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register.

So she has four convictions of something that carries a 14 year sentence and the judge lets her out on bail whilst he "considers" the sentence? Pound to a penny she won't get prison. Judges just don't seem to realise that boys suffer equally from being molested as do girls.
