At the Kapustin Yar test site, combat launches were successfully carried out from the Arctic Anti-aircraft missile complexes "Tor-M2DT", developed on the chassis of a two-link tractor for use in the Arctic and the Far North.

Shooting was done to assess the accuracy of missile guidance for two purposes when firing a burst.

Combat shooting was carried out by one combat vehicle in a difficult situation, in conditions of interference, simultaneously along two targets in the air, simulating cruise missiles.

The complex will have to undergo climatic tests and check the possibility of transporting the one by air. Upon completion of the state tests and acceptance for service, the delivery of the first complexes will be made to one of the units of the Northern Fleet.

All the power of Russian artillery falls every year on the 33rd polygon near Luga, where the cadets of the Mikhailovsky Military Artillery Academy showcase the art of using self-propelled, towed artillery, multiple rocket launchers, anti-tank missile systems, mortars and tactical missiles during test practice.

It is here that you can feel the adrenaline from the work of the self-propelled artillery installation "Akatsiya" and howitzers "Msta-B" and "Msta-S". It is here that the deafening squalls of fire from the rocket launchers "Grad" and "Smerch" are stunning with their spectacularity.

The Mikhailovsky Academy is one of the few and one of the country's oldest military universities that trains specialists in these and many other types of rocket and artillery weapons, taking into account the specifics of their application in the Land, Airborne Forces, Intelligence and Marine Corps. Here, too, they teach to handle the means of automation of missile forces and artillery, the use of ammunition, special equipment, communication systems, surveillance and command and control.

Entrance examinations to the academy include the results of a school exam, the surrender of standards for physical training, professional psychological selection and a medical commission. Annually more than 1,500 applicants apply for the cadet shoulder straps of the Academy, and only about 500 applicants apply.

You can become one of them! The choice for you after all in the Missile Forces and artillery is not boring. Never!
