Royal Air Force Chief of Staff Sir Charles Portal, a crypto-jew with a huge nose (above) directed the British terror bombing of Geman civilians. Brave British RAF pilots and crewmembers (lower photo) died so jews could massacre the civilians of Germany.

Default Polls: Heavy blow for Sarkozy in regional vote

Opinion polls suggest heavy losses for French President Nicolas Sarkozy's ruling party in France's March 14 regional elections.

French citizens go to the polls on Sunday in order to decide the governments for 26 regions in metropolitan France and the overseas territories.

However, a recent poll conducted by the TNS Sofres polling institute put the opposition socialists ahead of Sarkozy's UMP by 2.5 percent.

The latest regional ballot has also been overshadowed by the country's 10 percent unemployment rate and growing financial constraints which polls say would undermine Sarkozy's rightist UMP party as leftists controlling 20 of the 22 mainland regions are gaining momentum ahead of 2012 presidential election, Reuters reported.

Sarkozy's approval ratings have dropped markedly since his election in 2007 and analysts predict a failure for his 2012 reelection bid.

"The balance of power is extremely favorable for the left," AFP quoted Frederic Dabi, another pollster at the IFOP polling agency, as saying.

Meanwhile, French daily newspaper Liberation described the two-round regional elections due March 14 and 21 as "the last vote before the presidential election in 2012, [which] can change the political landscape."

Sarkozy: Europe is at Israel’s side because it took oath after WWII to give a State to the Jewish people

PARIS (AFP-EJP)---French president Nicolas Sarkozy said Thursday that “Europe is at Israel’s side because it took oath after WWII to give a State to the Jewish people so long martyrised”, after meeting at the Elysee Palace in Paris with his Israeli counterpart Shimon Peres.

http://www.ejpress.org/article/43570

The two leaders discussed the issue of tougher sanctions against Iran, ways to relaunch the Mideast peace process and efforts to secure the release of abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who has also French citizenship.

Sarkozy stressed that there is no other solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict aside from negotiations.

The establishment of a democratic, viable and modern Palestinian state is a condition for Israel's security, he said.

On Iran, the French president said that Tehran was conducting itself in an "intolerable manner," adding that France is committed to harsh sanctions in order to curb the Iranian atomic threat.

French president says Alsatians forced to fight with Nazis weren't traitors to France

http://www.google.com/hostednews/can...8Bdn9kXQCP6d1Q

COLMAR, France — French President Nicolas Sarkozy, commemorating the World War II victory over Nazi Germany, says that Alsatians forced to fight alongside the Nazis were not traitors to France.

Sarkozy says that it is France's Vichy regime that collaborated with Nazi Germany that "betrayed" and "dishonoured" France.

Sarkozy says he chose the Alsatian town of Colmar to mark Saturday's 65th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe because the people of Alsace and Moselle still have a "secret wound."

He said, "I came to Alsace to repair an injustice."

Germany annexed the eastern regions of Alsace and Moselle in 1940. By 1942, some 130,000 Alsatians were forced to enrol in the German army, and 30,000 killed and 10,000 disappeared.

Nicolas Sarkozy bans tall bodyguards

Tall security agents have been discreetly advised not to apply for a job guarding Nicolas Sarkozy, police sources have claimed.

Published: 2:23PM BST 07 Jun 2010

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...odyguards.html

The vertically challenged French president is said to have banned statuesque bodyguards despite their added value of being able to spot potential attackers in a crowd.

A police source told Le Parisien that "there's no point recruiting supermen" as "large-sized" candidates stood little chance of being taken on.

The presidential guard, known by its acronym GSPR, has been beefed up from 50 to 80 men since 2002, when a mentally disturbed man managed to take a potshot at Jacques Chirac, Mr Sarkozy's predecessor, with his hunting rifle before being overpowered.

President Sarkozy is notoriously sensitive and secretive about his diminutive height of around 5ft 5 ins – making him shorter than Napoleon.

He has gone out of his way not to stand small on the world stage or when next to his 5ft 10 ins former model wife, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, who mostly wears flat pumps.

Besides wearing specially-designed stacked shoes, Mr Sarkozy has been caught standing on tiptoes in global leader group shots and stood on a box to remain shoulder to shoulder with Barack Obama, the US President, when the pair gave speeches to commemorate the Normandy landings last year.

But his most controversial move to date on the height front was when his aides bussed in a group of factory workers last September who claimed they had been picked to appear alongside the French leader because they were short.

The Elysée dismissed as "grotesque and absurd" reports that it had stage managed the visit to the Faurecia auto parts company in Normandy, despite the fact that staff confirmed they had been selected because they were "no bigger than the President".

But it only added fuel to the fire of satirists and cartoonists, who often depict Mr Sarkozy as a dwarf.

In April, the Elysée cried foul after a German car hire firm launched a poster campaign urging customers to rent a small Citroen C3 hatchback, with the slogan, "Be like Madame Bruni, take a small French model".

However, France's first couple chose not to press charges, reportedly for fear of boosting the firm's sales.

'Secret Sarkozy funding' under probe

Wed, 07 Jul 2010 17:42:50 GMT

http://www.presstv.com/detail.aspx?i...onid=351020603

French prosecutors have started a probe into allegations that the country's President Nicolas Sarkozy received illegal funding for his election campaigns in 2007.

The prosecutor's office in Paris launched its investigations after receiving a report by a former accountant to Liliane Bettencourt -- France's wealthiest woman -- which claimed that the billionaire gave EUR 150,000 (USD 188,000) in secret cash to the treasurer for President Sarkozy's UMP party, Eric Woerth.

Bettencourt's former financial advisor, Clair Thibout, told the police on Monday that her employer financed the campaign expenditures of Sarkozy during his presidential campaign in early 2007, Deutsche Welle reported.

The announced figure was in violation of the constitutional law that stipulates each individual candidate in the country is only allowed to receive EUR 7,500 from political parties as donations.

Meanwhile, the French president's office dismissed reports that his party received cash from 87-year-old Bettencourt, who is the heiress to the L'Oreal cosmetics empire, describing the claim as being part of a smear campaign against Sarkozy.

The report comes as a new opinion poll by the BVA institute put Sarkozy's approval rating at its record low since taking office in 2007.

According to the poll published on Tuesday, only 33 percent of the French approve of his performance as the leader of the country -- three points less than the previous record in May.

President Sarkozy has suffered a host of setbacks in recent months. His reputation has been impaired by internal party disputes and resignation of two of his ministers after revelation that they went on a spending spree with taxpayers' money.

The investigation into the corruption charges is being launched as a recent poll indicated that nearly two out of three French voters believe their politicians are "mostly corrupt."

As someone in another thread pointed-out, the jew/poison dwarf Sarkozy co-opted the rhetoric of proto-WN Le Pen to seize the French Presidential election.

Political wins will be preceded by and come as consequences of dominance in other social spheres. The notion that some political party can be formed to advance White interests successfully, wholly within the political sphere, is as foolhardy as expecting to beat the casino. It's a rigged game.

Police probe L'Oreal over illegal funding

Fri, 09 Jul 2010 15:30:13 GMT

http://www.presstv.com/detail.aspx?i...onid=351020603

The French police have raided the home and office of a financial advisor to the country's richest woman allegedly involved in funding President Nicolas Sarkozy's 2007 campaign illegally.

Police on Friday searched the home and office of Patrice de Maistre, who had allegedly asked Clair Thibout, the former accountant of Liliane Bettencourt, heiress to the L'Oreal cosmetics empire, to "pick up EUR 150,000 at the bank" as part of donations for President Nicolas Sarkozy's presidential campaign, AFP reported.

On Wednesday, prosecutors launched an investigation into claims by Thibout that her employer gave EUR 150,000 (USD 188,000) in secret cash for Sarkozy's UMP party to the treasurer, Eric Woerth, who is now a labor minister.

Woerth, who is under pressure to resign, has flatly rejected the allegations, saying he never accepted secret cash from the L'Oreal heiress, adding that the accusations are part of a smear campaign against Sarkozy.

According to the French constitutional law, each individual candidate in the country is only allowed to receive EUR 7,500 in donations from political parties.

The scandal comes as new opinion poll shows public support for Sarkozy hitting record low since taking office in 2007, with only 33 percent of the French approving of his leadership.

Default Sarkozy furious at France's scandal obsession

Sarkozy furious at France's scandal obsession

France's hot-tempered president criticized his nation's obsession with scandal Tuesday after a bombshell that France's richest woman made a huge illegal donation to his 2007 campaign.

"I would love it so much if the country could excite itself over the big problems ... rather than to get wrapped up in the first horror, a slander with only one goal, to smear with no basis in reality," Nicolas Sarkozy snapped, citing issues such as health care, the economy or his pension reforms.

France's political world has been shaken for weeks by a court case revealing the government's cosy relationship with tax-evading billionaire Liliane Bettencourt as well as expense scandals that led to the resignations of two ministers over the weekend.

Sarkozy and his government are beset by the latest revelation, with a new report alleging that Bettencourt, Europe's richest woman and heiress of cosmetics giant L'Oreal, contributed about $232,000 in cash to Sarkozy's campaign.

French law limits donations by individuals to a maximum of about $300 in cash.

The money was allegedly given through Labour Minister Eric Woerth, the one-time "Mr. Clean" who is the longtime treasurer of Sarkozy's Union for a Popular Movement party.

Woerth's wife was a financial adviser to Bettencourt at the time she was recorded discussing plans to evade taxes by putting money in Swiss banks.

The widely-circulated media report, quoting a former Bettencourt bookkeeper named Claire T., also said Sarkozy regularly visited Bettencourt and her now-deceased husband when he was mayor of an upper-income city outside Paris from 1983 to 2002, leaving after lunch with envelopes of cash. Sarkozy didn't address in any detail the allegations, but his government came out with guns blazing.

"This is slander, this is a systematic destabilization campaign," Prime Minister Francois Fillon said.

"We will not be intimidated by these methods and I want to say that those who are involved in this manhunt, or slanderous accusations, should ask themselves if they still have a conscience."

Woerth said he won't resign since that would be an admission of guilt. "I've been treasurer of my party for eight years and I think no one can accuse me of anything. Everything is clear, everything is clean.

"You can always believe any old rumour, but I never received a single euro in politics that wasn't legal."

Default Sarkozy: France not a corrupt country

Sarkozy: France not a corrupt country

Tue, 13 Jul 2010 05:59:51 GMT

http://www.presstv.com/detail.aspx?i...onid=351020603

With his job approval at its lowest rate, French President Nicolas Sarkozy has slamed allegations that he took illegal funding for his 2007 election campaign, saying that France is not a corrupt country.

In an attempt to restore the credibility of his scandal-hit government, Sarkozy used France 2, a state channel, to dismiss as "slander and lies" allegations that his Labor Minister Eric Woerth accepted 150,000 euros (US $190,000) from L'Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt in order to finance the expenditures of Sarkozy's 2007 election campaign.

Sarkozy denounced accusations of receiving illegal cash donations from the 87-year-old Bettencourt as" disgraceful", adding that those behind the allegations were taking part in a defamation campaign, AFP reported.

The president also threw his weight behind Woerth, who has been hit by allegations of a conflict of interest, but he vowed an inquiry would probe into Woerth`s conduct.

"Eric Woerth is an honest man, a competent man. He enjoys my full confidence," Sarkozy said amid calls for his minister's resignation.

Critics say Woerth`s role as the treasurer for President Sarkozy's UMP party, conflicts with his other role as the minister for labor and social affairs.

Woerth is set to go before the cabinet on Tuesday to present a bill raising the retirement age from 60 to 62 before it heads to parliament in September.

The remarks come as French prosecutors have already launched criminal investigations into the controversial affair that has further eroded public support for the French president.

"France is not a corrupt country," Sarkozy also said in a veiled response to a recent poll, which indicated that nearly two out of every three French voters believe their politicians are "mostly corrupt."

Opinion polls suggest public support for Sarkozy has hit a record low following two embarrassing ministerial resignations and a string of unpopular austerity measures aimed at slicing the country's huge budget deficit.

Le Monde to sue Sarkozy's office

Tue Sep 14, 2010 10:33AM

http://www.presstv.com/detail/142452.html

The office of French President Nicolas Sarkozy has been accused of spying on Le Monde journalists.

One of France's leading newspapers is to file a lawsuit against the office of French President Nicolas Sarkozy over allegations of spying on its journalists.

Le Monde has accused the presidency of ordering an illegal probe into the paper's coverage of a funding scandal involving Sarkozy's party.

The newspaper says the president's office was annoyed by a story published in July, which linked Sarkozy's party to the finances of France's richest woman, L'Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt.

The report hints that Bettencourt made illegal donations to Sarkozy's election campaign in 2007.

Now, nearly three months after the revelation, Le Monde says the president's office had used the country's intelligence service to identify one of the sources behind the report.

The president's office has rejected the paper's claims, stressing that it had "never given a single instruction" to investigate the newspaper's sources.

This is while France's national police chief, Frederic Pechenard, confirmed on Monday that a senior government official was implicated in the leak investigation.

Le Monde decided to take legal action after police confirmation. It says that the government broke a law on protecting reporters' sources.

The leak probe is the latest episode in a long-running inquiry into allegedly illegal campaign contributions for Sarkozy's election campaign.

En visite au Vatican, Sarkozy veut réguler Internet

http://www.slate.fr/lien/28421/en-vi...guler-internet

Healthcare scandal surrounds Sarkozy

http://www.presstv.com/detail/157129.html

French President Nikolas Sarkozay (L) and Jacques Servier, chief executive of a pharmaceutical company that produced the controversial weigh loss drug, Mediator.

French President Nicholas Sarkozy has been implicated in what has been described as the country's biggest healthcare scandal of the decade.

The government and the state health regulatory body are accused of supporting the distribution of a weight loss drug known as Mediator, that is believed to have been claimed around 2,000 lives in the country, French daily Liberation reported.

Patients who took amphetamine derivative Mediator have filed a criminal lawsuit against Servier, France's second biggest pharmaceutical company.

Servier is now based in Nicolas Sarkozy's old fiefdom of Neuilly-sur-Seine, in the western suburbs of Paris. Last year, the president personally granted French Legion of Honour to chief executive of the company, Jacques Servier.

Opposition politicians are now demanding a public inquiry into the case, accusing the government of putting the lives of many individuals at risk in order to protect the profits of the business.

At least 500 people are believed to have died from heart trouble linked to the drug which was only banned after 30 years in 2009.

Mediator was responsible for a "health disaster" in France, said Irene Frachon, a physician who published a book on the dangers of the pill, which was recommended to not only overweight people but also healthy women who wanted to lose weight as an appetite suppressant.

The medicine, which had long been banned in the US and was outlawed in Spain in 2006 for its lethal effects, was taken by more than 5 million French people, between its launch in 1976 and its ban in 2009.
