Default Where's the .380 ammo?

Seems to be sold out, out-of-stock, backordered, or "not available for backorder" everywhere!

If anyone has any leads on where how to obtain .380 ammo, please give a post. Cheaperthandirt, midwayusa, gun auctions online, Walmart: all gone and none coming in. Not just the personal defence brands but the high end and cheapo, too.

Tnx, WBH. I'll get a bid in. Will be interesting to see what this lot will bring, as all the others are selling quite high these days.

When you find some, save your brass. .380 has always been more expensive than 9mm. Invest in reloading equipment.
The 9mm cartridge is only 2mm longer and more plentiful.

Everything is so expensive anymore. SKS ammo went from 150 per 1000 rds to 350. The only thing affordable anymore is .22.

Lightbulb A few possibilities...

Here's an outfit that has taken my order for "in-stock" Mexican-made .380:

http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/catalo...low-point-ammo

I'll be sure and follow up on what happens to the order after the 9-12 business days they say they'll need to ship. Apparently they're totally swamped with orders these days.

I also ordered some PD .380 and 9mm from Cabellas,

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...questid=207297

Their reputation is excellent and they don't charge your card until and unless they actually ship your order. No, they are completely out of stock, but they indicate a likelyhood of filling their backorders in the next 30 days or so. We'll see, and I'll post the followup.

I stocked up a few months ago, but I wish I had stocked up a few years ago. I am doing a lot more dry fire practise and intend on investing in a 22 addapter for my Glock and some airsoft. My ammo is now pretty much 'war reserve' stock now.

22LR is now twice what it was a few years ago. 9.99 to 22.00 for Winchester Wild Cat.

Just a note to say that I received my shipment of Mexican .380 (Aguila is the mfg name) very promptly from ammotogo. (see link above). It came in last Thursday via UPS. I haven't shot any of it yet, but it looks fine. New brass, itz, with the Co name on it. This was all jacketed hollow-point, but they're all out of stock on it now.

I'll post again with results after I shoot some of the stuff.

I see now that Auctionarms.com has some CCI .380 FMJ for sale fairly reasonable in 1,000 rnd lots.

Get it while you can!
