Yet another example of jew dog whingeing...
Nothing like finding this bullshit in the inbox first thing in the morning.
From a neighborhood listserv. Fun fact: Purim, like just about all kike "holidays," is the celebration of the slaughter of a Gentile race. It was Persians that time. "Apropos of the TPI meeting having been scheduled for last night, which was the start of Purim... While Purim is a minor holiday compared to Rosh Hashanah/Yom Kippur and Purim, it nevertheless has significance. The story is told in the Book of Esther. Haman wanted to kill the Jews and Queen Esther warned King Achashverosh (Ahasuerus), who ordered Hamas and his sons to be hanged on the gallows. And thus the Jews were saved. (Cliffs notes version.) We celebrate by reading the Megillah (the Book of Esther), drowning out Haman's name (via noisemakers or booing) when it's read aloud, dressing up in costume, and eating hamantaschen (Triangle shaped cookies with jam filling, representing his ears or his hat, depending on who you talk to). Oftentimes there's a shpiel (skit) too. It does reflect insensitivity on the part of the TPI to schedule a committee meeting on a religious holiday, even if that may not have been the case. It's the principle of the thing...we wouldn't schedule a meeting on, for example, Ash Wednesday or Good Friday, would we? Why make our neighbors choose between their religion and their community? It would behoove the ANC, and all civic organizations in Dupont, for that matter, to have a calendar of Jewish holidays provided to them, in order to eliminate scheduling conflicts. Rachel"
