Thumbs down Why do black Hip Hoppers always have to steal song structures first used by others ?

Ever notice how much 'copying' is involved in the black Hip Hop scene ?

They constantly use melodies by others . . . .

I think many black Hip Hoppers only get rich / famous by taking song structures of others . .

Examples . .

Music by 'Mister Mister' . .

Builds on the 'Knight Rider' theme . .

Based on Toto's 'Africa' . .

Negroes do not seem to be that original . .

They take melodies by others , give those tracks their own themes , get rich . .

As I've said in some threads before , it is my belief that the idea behind Hip Hop ( rhythmic rhyming / poetry ) was hijacked by American blacks . .

I for one would welcome seeing our race taking it back . .

But then 'intellectual piracy' should end.

We should show more innovation than the groids do. . .

Which shouldn't be a problem. . .
