I went to a talk by Dyson a long time ago...maybe 30 years, I can't remember, at Barnes and Nobles. An obese woman with a couple of cohorts came in and started to interrupt him. They wouldn't let him talk. I can't remember their issue. Finally they left and he gave his talk.

He was a very impressive physicist and thinker. He must have been
a polymath. I would say that about Isaac Asimov too. I know he waa a jew but he only seemed interested in promoting science and science fiction. Asimov published over 400 books on science and science fiction. He had a Phd in chemistry but he said he knew so much about chemistry that it started to bore him and his main interest was astronomy. Mozart was one of the most impressive geniuses in history. He only lived to the age of 35 and managed to compose 600 major works of classical music. He must have spent every waking hour writing notes. That was way before the advent of any recording technology. I wonder what Mozart would do if he was alive today and access to all the different forms of recording technology and if he were able to live a long life. I thought Louis Pasteur was a very interesting scientist. He came up with the germ theory of disease and pasteurization then later in his life developed a vaccine for rabies.
