‘Anne Frank + You’ exhibition in London
LONDON (EJP)---The ‘Anne Frank + You’ exhibition has returned after four years to London and will run at the SW1 Gallery, Victoria from 6-30 January.
The exhibition opening marks the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp. It will also correspond with the 10th annual Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27, which this year will be taking place in London. The free of charge exhibition is open to the public and Westminster City Council said it wants every school pupil of 10 years and up to have the opportunity of visiting it, “as it will provide an unrivalled experience to learn and reflect about the Holocaust and to discuss challenges to society in Britain today.” Volunteers from organisations around London will be trained as exhibition guides. The organisers, Westminster City Council and the Anne Frank Trust UK, are still looking for volunteers. Information can be found at www.annefrank.org.uk/westminster. http://www.ejpress.org/article/news/...n_europe/41463 |
