A rare 60 million year old series of fish fossils described as 'gold dust' be experts has been found in Alberta - by a committed creationist.

Edgar Nernberg, who works for a local excavation company, was digging a basement for a new home in Evanston when he noticed the fossil.

'The something I noticed was quite extraordinary, I knew right away that this was different from the other fossils I have uncovered in my many years of excavating and collecting fossils,' he said.
