Looks like things are heating up again for Cobb - he is doing some "network TV" interviews on the East Coast and here is a yahoo story, below. The comments I saw were a bunch of cries for Cobb to be shot or for him to be sent back to Canada for prosecution. If the FBI is planning to arrest him, this could be the final build up:

Neo-Nazis Try To Take Over Tiny Town—But The Town Is Fighting Back!

The size of Leith, North Dakota's tiny population is in dispute.

The mile-square town has long been home to about 16 people—depending on which census you look at, or if anyone has momentarily wandered off the tiny parcel of land—but a group of Neo-Nazis are laying plans to move in, en masse.

Their leader Craig Cobb, 61, is openly calling Neo-Nazis to take over Leith's government and make it a refuge for likeminded bigots. The gray-bearded man who has called for violence against Jewish people and destruction of the U.S. government even wants to rename the town "Village of the Damned."

Mayor Ryan Schock told the Southern Poverty Law Center that Cobb came out of nowhere and paid $5,000 cash for the abandoned house near North Dakota's fields of sunflower and wheat.

The Neo-Nazis didn't seem to expect much of a fight when Cobb purchased a home and 12 lots, according to the Bismarck Tribune. Cobb moved to North Dakota from Canada and invited bigots from all over to do the same—though it's unclear if any are, like Cobb, a fugitive from Canadian law enforcement for operating a hate website in Vancouver.

But Leith's city council isn't taking the invasion lying down and Cobb's plan to start a racist settlement in a place that is 97 percent white has backfired.

In fact, locals are finding ways to make sure Cobb and his cohorts can't stay in town for long.

First, the council approved an ordinance requiring Cobb to install water and sewer to his house, forbidding people to live in the sorts of abandoned properties Cobb has purchased. The council followed that ordinance up with a moratorium on any new construction, and limiting camping on any lots for longer than 10 days.

Together, it's clear the rules intend to drive Neo-Nazis from Leith.

"Why now?" Cobb asked at a town meeting this week. "Is it a wonderful coincidence that the moment I show up these are necessary? It's patently unfair."

Some of his followers have shown up to settle in Leith, including Kynan Dutton of Oregon, who brought his wife and two children to live in Cobb's ramshackle property.

A couple weeks ago Dutton went on a drunken tirade at a City Council meeting where he screamed obscenities and slurs at people. Dutton later apologized and said he "was working to correct his drinking problem," according to the newspaper.

At this week's meeting, Cobb told members of the local Sioux tribe to leave the town meeting and "go back home"—I can only hope that the Native Americans pointed out to the carpetbagging interloper from Canada exactly how ridiculous that demand was.

Cobb went on to call the town's residents "evil and nasty"—talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Leith, ND - Countless nazis have taken over tiny Leith, leaving the residents frustrated.

One person says they started taking over his house last week. They mostly gravitate to all-white neighborhoods.

While he does not think they can hurt you, he says they stink! In fact, they closely resemble stink bugs. The resident says if you shake hands with one of them, you will carry the smell around with you.

Neighbors in this little town just want them gone.

ABC 13 will talk to experts about why they are here, what they are exactly and how this neighborhood can get some relief.

Oh no, the first thing I did when I bought my old house was fix the plumbing.

Hot water is a must, as well as filtration for drinking & dechlorination for bathing.

I'm extreme when it comes to clean water & indoor plumbing but if Craig doesn't want or need it thats his business.

Its not like hes in a big city, its in the middle nowhere.

Craig stated that not only is water and sewage costly, it takes months to get workers out there to do the work.

Besides, even if he had water and sewage, the system would simply use other excuses/plots to get rid of him.

Do you know for a fact that Cobb has been planning to fail at his publically-stated motivations and objectives for Leith all along, or is that just your interpretation?

Either way - it doesn't inspire much confidence. 'I can't get my house hooked up for water, but you should follow my lead!' The inevitable question that follows such a statement is, why? Why should anyone follow your lead if you can't even organise the most basic things for yourself and the people you're supposed to be leading?

The governing body of the city or county, as appropriate, shall adopt a resolution declaring that there is need for a housing authority in the city or county if the governing body finds that unsanitary or unsafe inhabited dwelling accommodations exist in the city or county

In determining whether dwelling accommodations are unsafe or unsanitary, the governing body may take into consideration the degree of overcrowding, the percentage of land coverage, the light, air, space, and access available to the inhabitants of the dwelling accommodations, the size and arrangement of the rooms, the sanitary facilities, and the extent to which conditions which endanger life or property by fire or other causes exist in the buildings.

Powers of authority.
An authority has the following powers and duties:

To make available to appropriate agencies, including those charged with the duty of abating or requiring the correction of nuisances or like conditions, or of demolishing unsafe or unsanitary structures within the authority's area of operation, the authority's findings and recommendations with regard to any building or property where conditions exist which are dangerous to the public health, morals, safety, or welfare.

So, yeah, crying about how Cobb has been hard-done by is pointless. Less than pointless. Yeah, they are rat-fucking him, but they are doing it legally, and they are well within their rights and duties to do so. And wow, how hard was it to find out he hasn't got a leg to stand on in this issue? A couple of minutes of looking through the state law! You'd think he, or someone else, might have done the same thing before this project got underway.

I don't know the shape these domiciles are in but having rehab-ed a number of houses in my day I can tell you that plumbing in an existing structure is seldom a serious obstacle to overcome. A lot of the work can be done on the cheap with just a couple guys.
Cobb always struck me as a pretty resourceful individual who's not afraid to get his hands dirty. Hot water tanks aren't that expensive and a decent handyman can hook one up in under an hour. Last summer I had to rent @ $60/day a snake to clear 75' of drain pipe out to the sewer line. A dirty, sweaty job to be sure but not a major expense.
It's only plumbing, not brain surgery. It ain't that tough to get shit to roll downhill. Just don't chew your fingernails.
