Pomeranians a girl dog?
I'm getting a pom puppy and my husband seems to think they are dogs for girls. He kinda looks at me funny when I say our dog. lol. Who else is with me when I say that it's not just for women?

Not purely discontextual since it's a thread from Stormfront. It does prove that that's where the real revolutionaries hang out. Stormfront is SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Sorry, I get my British colloquialisms, which I love, mixed up sometimes.

I must've crossed 'skrag' -

A girl that is either a: chav, hoe, bitch, slut, dirty, skanky and generally not very nice.

With 'minger' -

Although now more commonly used to define an extremely visually challenging appearance, the word minger originally came from scottish gaelic, meaning 'septic vagina'.

Or-

Someone with a face like a bulldog licking piss off a thistle.

Anyway, if Skranger's not a word, it ought to be!
Although I did find a close equivalent to 'skranger' & that is- skranga:
Short for skin ranga. Refers to someone wearing too much fake tan therefore making them orange.

Talk about not getting it. Canny Sammy's professional career was destroyed because of it, and he may have died because of health complications brought-on from trying vainly to avoid effects of being tarred with this "useless word."

Not funny ha-ha. Funny sad. And Francis was a very smart guy, nominally, which makes it that much more funny and sad.

That's the problem with cons. Everything is written under the assumption there's some benevolent presiding judge overlooking things, awarding debater's points to those who play fairly. Stupid goofball. If there was a more useful political term than racism, I don't know what it would be. Maybe freedom, equality, but that's about it. Definitely top-5 conceptual scams of all time.

And yes, I have heard of hyperbole before, but it's just not a particularly good simile, especially because I'm not even certain cats can be raped since we don't know how cat provide consent (if you want to get technical about it)

Has it been mentioned yet that not all men have penises and not all people with penises are men? The conflation of manhood and possession of a penis troubles me, especially on such a site as this.

[even for jezebel, whose standards are pie in the sky high, this is pretty damn near comedically insuperable]

@Caputloosa: Hummingbirds are my greatest fear (seriously. I know it's ridiculous intellectually, but they're just so twitchy and have needles on the front of their faces!) and those look especially sinister.

@SunburnedCounsel: Seriously? I freaking love hummingbirds. I could sit out in my back yard for hours watching them fly around and eat from their feeders.

@feathernotdot: totally serious. I know other people love them, but my great fear, because eyes look liquid to them, is one flying into my eye. I have to wear sunglasses if I think they might even be anywhere around. The way they move makes shivers go down my spine

One of the things that might be helpful is to work on being angry. You don't have to start a riot, but the next time something makes you feel bad about body hair, even if it's just a random thought that floats through your mind, make a conscious effort to think, "This is wrong. Body hair is natural and beautiful, like any other part of a healthy human body. Anyone who says differently, or encourages others to say so, is perpetuating a cruel cycle."

["perpetuating a cruel cycle!" oh...izagonna use that one.]

*there is nothing weirder than waking up to find a couple teenagers poking at your armpit hair with confused looks. This has happened more than once.
