On February 1st, a new organization called the "Black-Jewish Entertainment Alliance" announced its existence to the world.

Their press release, timed to coincide with the first day of black history month, states that Jews are equally as oppressed as blacks and both groups must work together against "anti-Semitism" and "institutional racism."

The group has all the fingerprints of an Anti-Defamation League operation. The ADL is featured on its resources page and the Zionist group's CEO quickly endorsed the "alliance."

While signatories include famous black faces such as Terry Crews and Herbie Hancock, the vast majority of its more than 170 members are Jewish executives and powerbrokers in the entertainment industry.

Nick Cannon Gets His Job Back

The most surprising member of this "alliance" is Nick Cannon, who was fired in July from his show "Wet N' Wild" -- a property of Jewish-owned company CBS Viacom (previously in the hands of Sumner Redstone, now run by his daughter Shari) -- after praising black advocate Louis Farrakhan and quoting his ideas on a podcast. Cannon's rapid dismissal led prominent blacks to begin discussing Jewish power as a source of their oppression.

After months of groveling, Cannon appears to have defied the hard rules of cancel culture. Just four days after announcing his support for the "Black-Jewish Entertainment Alliance," CBS Viacom gave Cannon his old job back.

The agenda behind this endeavor is two fold. The first is to create a system of financial carrots and sticks for leading blacks to break racial solidarity with figures and groups Jews feel undermine their ethnic interests, such as the Nation of Islam. The second is to strengthen Jewish influence over Black Lives Matter, especially in regards to its support for the Palestinian cause, which the ADL has expressed a strong interest in purging from their discourse.

The ADL's aggressive backroom attempts at co-opting black causes have been so egregious that a coalition of left-wing groups have come together specifically to resist them.

Will It Work?

The ADL, which is primarily concerned with organizing blacks against white Gentiles and advancing the interests of the state of Israel, is struggling with a number of contradictions in its efforts. Recently, the high courts of the Jewish state declared that its Right of Return does not apply to practicing Ugandan Jews because they aren't racially Jewish. At the same time, another report found that Israel is a haven for fugitive child rapists of Ashkenazi and Sephardic descent.

Domestically, the ADL has put blacks on the spot, declaring in 2016 that they were the most "anti-Semitic" race in America.

Nevertheless, Jewish groups appear to be putting a lot of money and energy into increasing black dependence on Jewish will.

Multiple op-eds have appeared in mainstream media calling for a "new Black-Jewish alliance." Simultaneously, a record number of Jewish mulattoes have been nominated for the 2021 NAACP Image Awards in March.

The NAACP, which itself was founded by a panel of Jews belonging to the ADL, has been utilized against black interests in the past. The NAACP and ADL famously battled black leader Marcus Garvey and his Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA), which sought to promote black self-reliance. Jewish prosecutors and a Jewish judge imprisoned Garvey in 1923 for five years on dubious and politically motivated "mail fraud" charges, cementing the NAACP's control over black political organizing.

Whether history will repeat itself remains to be seen. The Black-Jewish Entertainment Alliance and the ADL appear confident in their chances. .

A Holocaust refugee’s son is one of the most powerful politicians in Congo

(JTA) — Like many powerful politicians in Africa, Moise Katumbi goes by multiple titles. He is widely seen as the leader of the opposition of his native Democratic Republic of Congo, and he’s the president of its TP Mazembe soccer team, which is one of Africa’s finest.

Now Katumbi is also closer than he’s ever been to becoming the first African ruler descended from a Holocaust refugee.

Katumbi’s father, Nissim Soriano, was a Greek Jew who fled the island of Rhodes from the Nazis and settled in Congo in the 1930s, when it was still a Belgian colony. Soriano built a fishing business empire and married the daughter of a local chief, Mwata Kazembe XIV Chinyanta Nakula, with whom he had two children.

Katumbi, who has said several times that he wants to become president, forged a crucial political union last month with former rival Jean-Pierre Bemba. The union helped Katumbi, a former regional governor, become the second-strongest politician behind only President Felix Tshisekedi.

Katumbi does not define himself as Jewish, “but he has a warm connection to Judaism and Israel,” said Menachem Margolin, a Brussels-based rabbi who has become a close confidant of Katumbi since 2018.

In public addresses, the African politician refers frequently to his Jewish roots, even calling himself “the Moses of Katanga, back to lead his people.” (Moise is the French spelling for the name Moses.) Katumbi was the governor of Katanga, one of the country’s 21 provinces and by far its richest in minerals.

(JTA) — The Jewish stars Jon Ossoff, Shira Haas and Doja Cat were named to the Time100 Next list, Time magazine’s annual list of “100 emerging leaders who are shaping the future.”

Ossoff, the millennial who was sworn into Congress with multiple totems of his heritage, helped Democrats regain control of the Senate along with fellow Georgian Raphael Warnock. Read about his Black-Jewish partnership with Warnock here, and his Jewish background here.

Zach Banner and other Black athletes hold online panel about fighting anti-Semitism

(JTA) — Prominent Black athletes Zach Banner, Josh Bell and Alysha Clark came together with the rabbi of Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue for a panel about fighting anti-Semitism on Wednesday night.

Banner, an offensive lineman for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been outspoken about anti-Semitism spread by athletes, including fellow NFLer DeSean Jackson last year.

A Harvard-Harris poll, which surveyed 1,778 registered voters from February 23-35, 2021, found 71 percent of respondents believe ANTIFA is a “domestic terrorist group.”

Breonna Taylor, arguably the most sensational case, turns out to have been deeply involved in her boyfriend’s drug operation. Her boyfriend opened fire before the police shot back.
Just imagine video footage of a white man shooting an unarmed black woman who was clearly no threat. It would be the biggest story in the country. It would be the biggest story in the world. Cities would erupt.

With Ashli Babbitt, we don’t need to imagine. We can watch."

BLM backfire? US public opinion shifts on George Floyd's death, law & order, as racial divide widens after summer of riots – poll

US public opinion on the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody has shifted since the early days of last year's Black Lives Matter protests, with trust in law enforcement growing after violent unrest in the streets.

Just 36 percent of respondents in a USA Today/Ipsos poll released on Friday described Floyd's death as murder, down from 60 percent last June. The racial divide in how the May 25 tragedy is viewed is startling, with 64 percent of black poll participants and just 28 percent of whites saying Floyd was murdered.

New York Times mocked for attempting to downplay 2020 BLM protest violence as ‘misinformation’

The New York Times has been lambasted online for bizarrely claiming that violence surrounding Black Lives Matter protests in 2020 was merely “misinformation” and likening it to Deep State conspiracy theories.

The Gray Lady’s Jennifer Medina sought to unravel the mystery behind Latinos in the US voting Republican, in a Friday article titled: “A Vexing Question for Democrats: What Drives Latino Men to Republicans?”

Medina teased out the motivations of Latino Republicans through a series of interviews, before attempting to conflate the notion that the “deep state” had taken over the government during the Trump administration or that “Black Lives Matter protests caused widespread violence,” dismissing both ideas as “misinformation” within the same breath.

“Some of the frustrations voiced by Hispanic Republican men are stoked by misinformation, including conspiracy theories claiming that the 'deep state' took over during the Trump administration and a belief that Black Lives Matter protests caused widespread violence.”

Needless to say, the ever-watchful eye of Twitter did not let this claim about widespread violence slide. One Twitter user was blunt in his analysis: “The New York Times is lying.”

Fusing African and Jewish cuisines, Richmond’s JewFro restaurant was inspired by the George Floyd protest movement

(JTA) — Like many Americans, Ari Augenbaum, Trey Owens and Narine Hovnanian closely watched the protest movement that followed the death of George Floyd during the summer of 2020. Floyd’s death sparked familiar discussions among the friends about the history of race and oppression in the United States.

The three restaurateurs, who run a popular Virginia eatery called Soul Taco, figured they would use food to serve up healing, history and, they hope, a unique dining experience.

During a late-night conversation at their Richmond restaurant, they decided to launch JewFro, a pop-up-style spot that fuses Jewish and African cuisines. (Richmond restaurants are open for in-person dining, although JewFro offers takeout service as well.)

“JewFro,” Augenbaum said, “was born out of a conversation that I’m sure many Americans were having about the Black Lives Matter protests.”

Steven Spielberg to donate his Genesis Prize winnings to racial justice organizations

(JTA) — Steven Spielberg is donating his Genesis Prize earnings to Jewish and non-Jewish groups working to promote racial and economic justice.

The prize’s foundation on Thursday announced that the film director would double the $1 million prize with his own money and split it among 10 organizations, including Black Voters Matter and the Jews of Color Initiative.

“Judaism and Jewish history begin with two narratives: Genesis and Exodus, stories about creation and liberation from oppression, about the discovery of the moral voice and of human dignity,” Spielberg said in a statement. “From these accounts come the ethical precepts commanding us to work for a more just and equitable world.”

Spielberg said “America is facing a crisis,” referring to the wake of the killing of George Floyd and the racial justice protests that roiled the country last year.

Rabbi Robert Marx, social justice pioneer who marched with Martin Luther King, dies at 93

(JTA) — Robert Marx, a pioneering social justice advocate and leading Reform rabbi who drew inspiration from his experiences marching with Martin Luther King, Jr., is dead at 93.

He died on March 28 at the beginning of the Passover holiday, surrounded by family at his home in Saugatuck, Michigan, the Chicago Tribune reported. He had suffered a heart attack weeks prior, the Chicago Sun-Times noted.

Marx’s legacy lives on through the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, a community organizing group devoted to social justice causes in Chicago that he founded in 1964, and the Hakafa congregation on the city’s North Shore that he founded in 1983, which grew from a few families to hundreds of members.

(JTA) — Rep. Alcee Hastings, the Florida Democrat who led advocacy on Jewish issues in Congress and helped guide Black-Jewish relations through periods of tension, died Tuesday at 84.

Hastings was known for his pre-congressional career as a lawyer who won a number of civil rights victories in the 1960s and ’70s when segregation and racism were prevalent in South Florida, and then as a federal judge impeached by Congress in 1988 in a bribery scandal.

Hastings, who had been acquitted in criminal court, was convicted in the Senate but was not banned from holding public office.

Patrisse Khan-Cullors, the leader of Black Lives Matter and a self-described Marxist, recently purchased a $1.4 million home in an exclusive Los Angeles neighborhood where the vast majority of residents are white, according to reports.

The home, which features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, is nestled in Topanga Canyon and has a separate guesthouse on the property, according to a celebrity real estate blog which reported the transaction last week.

Queens ‘Wolverine’ hit with slew of charges for trying to kill BLM protesters: DA

The Queens “Wolverine” who donned a glove of blades as he chased down Black Lives Matter protesters was hit with a 39-count indictment, prosecutors announced Wednesday.

Frank Cavalluzzi, 55, pleaded not guilty in Queens Supreme Court Wednesday to charges that included attempted murder, assault and menacing for the crazed ambush on June 2 in Whitestone. He previously claimed that members of the group had hurled objects at his car.

Cavalluzzi was captured on video jumping out of his SUV and trying to attack the demonstrators while brandishing a device attached to his wrist with four serrated blades protruding like a claw, court papers allege.
