Miss. hotel official quits ahead of white meeting

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. -- The general manager of a Memphis-area conference center hotel has resigned, saying he received threats over a white power group's planned meeting at the facility next month.

Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke is promoting the Nov. 7-9 event billed as the "European American Unity and Rights Conference" at the Whispering Woods Hotel and Conference Center.

Whispering Woods manager Travis Murray said Wednesday he quit after his work telephone number and work e-mail address were distributed in an e-mail by the Memphis-based civil rights group Mid-South Peace and Justice Center, which says it tracks the white power group. Murray said he had received telephone calls from individuals who said they know his home address. [Gee, that's what Bill White's in jail for!]

Center officials say they sent the e-mail so that members could let Whispering Woods know the hotel might lose business for hosting the conference.

Jacob Flowers, director of the Peace and Justice Center, said no personal information about Murray was included in the group's e-mail and that his group condemns any violence.

Duke, who describes himself as a white civil rights advocate, said In a statement posted on his Web site the conference aims to "issue a clarion call" for a white power movement across the United States.

"This conference will be the first powerful voice of our people in reaction and protest to the election, and the lack of any real choice and any real democracy in America," Duke said in the statement.

Duke told The Memphis Commercial Appeal that his group has a right to gather at a hotel that is open to the public, and Whispering Woods could not legally refuse their business.

"If a black group was refused, there would be civil rights lawsuits being filed," he told the newspaper. "We have the same rights."

A statement issued by Whispering Woods on Wednesday said it was initially unaware of the nature of the group holding the conference but that it was legally obligated to host it.

Flowers said the group had initially identified its event as an environmental advocacy conference, and Whispering Woods mailed a contract.

Flowers said the environmental group's name was crossed out and replaced with the European American Unity name when the contract was returned. The contract was then signed by a hotel official, although not by Travis Murray.

The date was chosen to react to next Tuesday's election, either obama or McCain, both candidates are a disaster for Whites and both need to be countered by a pro-White response.

As to Memphis, it's my understanding that it is in the outlining area not in the city limits, so nothing for attendees to worry themselves about. Just like the others before in New Orleans wasn't in the city and Amren's D.C. conference was really in NVA.

The conference is not being held inside Memphis. Go read the freakin article. It's being held outside Memphis in a secure area in the country.

Ok, well that makes sense regarding the date relative to the elections. From what I hear even White areas of Memphis are now being overrun by niggers.

Germantown, once an exclusive White enclave, is now overrun by niggers. I suppose if it's far enough out there will be no problems but where will people stay?

I used to live in Memphis from 84-87 but haven't been back since. The Shelby county firing range was out in the country. I lived in mid-town near the VA hospital and would bike out to the range occasionally.

I sometimes wonder about the wisdom of having a conference in Tennesse where all the WN guess will be eating meals prepared in the kitchen by radicalized versions of Uncle Sambo and Aunt Jemima. They did this in the New Orleans Conference a few years back when Duke was released from prison.

I hope the have the good sense to have a pro white group do the catering instead of having niggurs prepare the food.

Good point. Wasn't there something called the Veteran's disease or something a few years back? I would also be very careful about what I ate. I was afraid to eat the hotel food due to the all black servers and cooks, I didnt want to eat at the Denny's across the street, I almost got ran over running across the street to buy donuts that ended up having green mold on them and that New Orleans food smelled like crap. I ended up eating stuff I bought out of the local 7 11. Good thing Dresden was nursing so she didnt starve or have to eat that crap.

Yes, I made sure not to eat the first bite and kept a watchful eye on the guests to see if anybodys was keeling over.

I did make good use of the time to relive the "good old days" when white men had plantations and ruled the country. I went to most of the local plantations including the San Franciso plantation.
