Originally published March 5, 2004 -- CHAUVINISTS WORRIED that immigration threatens to blemish the nation's "purity" might look at Potomac, the Washington suburb where I live. It was a drowsy, lily-white stretch of farms, stables and split-level houses when we moved there 30 years ago. Since then, it has burgeoned into a multicultural, multicolored, multilingual enclave - dramatic evidence that the United States, despite its manifold defects, is a beacon for throngs from everywhere.

In contrast to the "wretched," "tempest-tost," "huddled masses" sketched by Emma Lazarus [jew alert] in her celebrated poem, many newcomers are educated, skilled, wealthy and fluent in English. They disembark attuned to the best and the worst of the United States from their exposure to its movies, radio programs and television shows, or from the Internet. Their teen-agers sport baseball caps and Levis, ride skateboards and are acquainted with Coke, Big Macs, Mickey Mouse, Madonna and Elvis.

Others who come may fit Ms. Lazarus' description. But rich or poor, they come eager to work hard for a better life.

My neighbors include a German architect and his Iranian wife, a Palestinian contractor, a Korean scientist and a car salesman from Madagascar. An Indian physician converted her home into a miniature Taj Mahal, replete with bronze elephants on the lawn.

The local clinic employs an acupuncturist versed in the subtleties of yang and yin. Filipinos nurse the elderly. The mechanic at the garage is Senegalese, the attendants Mongolian and Pakistani. My barber is a French-Jewish woman who traces her lineage back to Tunisia. The shop is owned by a Korean. We rely for repairs on a group of Jamaican carpenters, electricians, painters and plumbers. Our part-time gardener is a Salvadoran. Initially he came into the area by bus, but now he has a truck.

The supermarket is staffed by Filipinos, Cameroonians, Haitians, Latinos, Indians, Thais and a Tibetan. It's stocked with borscht, matzo, couscous, mango chutney, shiitake mushrooms, lemon grass, taro and varied herbs. There are dozens of kinds of rices and noodles.

The community center offers classes in tai chi chuan, karate and yoga. Books, periodicals and videos, tapes and DVDs in Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Russian, Tagalog and Vietnamese are available at the public library. At the elementary school, a teacher from Beijing is "immersing" kindergartners in the rudiments of Mandarin. One morning, when I casually dropped in on them, they were perched on the stools and gleefully chanting ditties in rote, reminding me of toddlers in Hong Kong, my base as a correspondent during the 1960s.

This spectacular demographic transformation owes its genesis to President Lyndon Johnson. In 1965, consistent with his sweeping liberal agenda, he [No, the jews... --L.D.] persuaded Congress to legislate a progressive immigration law. Among other things, it repealed the patently racist statute promoted in 1924 by jingoists and super-patriots that cut legal immigration by half as a device to curb the admission of "undesirables" from eastern and southern Europe. Today, more than 30 million Americans are foreign-born.

The "melting pot" concept, glorified as the paradigm, turned out to be an illusion, primarily because people sought to preserve their distinct identities. We are closer to the notion of "cultural pluralism" broached in 1925 by the Jewish philosopher Horace Kallen. Dismayed by the thought of dissolving his pedigree in an Anglocentric caldron, he suggested a "loose federation of nationalities cooperating voluntarily through a multiplicity of autonomous institutions." Die-hard conformists vehemently decried his proposal as a gambit for championing "hyphenated" Americanism. But he was remarkably prescient.

The syrupy Norman Rockwell illustration of the country as an exclusive WASP domain has faded into oblivion as we evolve into a land of diverse minorities. The danger, however, is that unum may be eclipsed by pluribus, and we may become a fragmented society. The phenomenon is apparent on college campuses, where student activists, prodded by their politically correct professors, stridently clamor for segregated dining halls, fraternities, lounges and curriculums. Most immigrants are impervious to this trend.

Recently, while paying a bill at the gas station, I noticed that the black cashier was perusing a newspaper in a language unfamiliar to me. "I'm Ethiopian," he explained, then asked me: "Are you Jewish?" Amazed, I replied, "Yes." "So am I," he replied, adding "shalom" as he handed me my change.

I believe that half this article is pure BS, invented by this jew in advance of the coming tsunami of opposition to jew-sponsored, jew-promoted anti-European immigration. The jew is not only a natural destroyer, he anticipates in advance the complaints of those he is actively destroying.

Last week, just as news of Professor Huntington's magisterial article was about to break, historian Stanley Karnow warbled excitedly about the shredding in the Los Angeles Times.

Mr. Karnow lives in a posh Washington suburb at which those who worry that "immigration threatens to blemish the nation's 'purity'" are invited to look. Racially diverse it may be, though probably not quite as diverse as Mr. Karnow would have us believe or as he seems to believe himself. My bet is that the backbone of the burb remains just as lily-hued as when he moved in.

But what Mr. Karnow likes about it is precisely the fabled "diversity" that mass immigration breeds—"The community center offers classes in tai chi chuan, karate and yoga. Books, periodicals and videos, tapes and DVDs in Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Russian, Tagalog and Vietnamese are available at the public library. At the elementary school, a teacher from Beijing is 'immersing' kindergartners in the rudiments of Mandarin."

What he salutes as "diversity" is in fact little more than cultural incoherence—the disappearance of that "core" Professor Huntington talks about from which a common civilization is able to grow.

The old idea of immigration was that immigrants would "melt" into a new but common pot, and as Mr. Karnow writes—quite correctly—the metaphor no longer applies.

Well, Kallen was "remarkably prescient" in part because the mass immigration that began arriving forty years later, after the 1965 Immigration Act, did indeed decline to melt.

Instead, it ate through the pot itself, which is what Mr. Karnow is so happy about.

It's nice he acknowledges this, since the usual argument—heard nowadays mainly from conservatives—is that the immigrants are assimilating.

Mr. Karnow knows better and likes it that way.

It's also interesting he acknowledges the Jewish connection, since it's becoming increasingly obvious. Mr. Karnow, as he makes sure to tell us at the end of his column, is Jewish himself, and so, he also made sure to tell us, was Kallen. And one reason they like immigration so much is precisely because of what it does to the "Anglo Protestant core" of American civilization.

A couple of years ago, the Forward, the principal Jewish newspaper in the country, reported a remark made by Leonard Glickman, president and CEO of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, in explaining why his organization was promoting the resettlement of Somali refugees in the United States: "The more diverse American society is the safer [Jews] are." Mr. Glickman is not alone.

Perhaps for much the same reason, Jewish neoconservatives like John Podhoretz, David Brooks and several others don't much like the very concept of an "Anglo Protestant core."

Unlike most conservatives, almost all of them rushed to endorse President Bush's amnesty proposals as soon as he announced them, and some like Mr. Brooks have rushed to denounce the Huntington article.

Jewish Americans played a crucial role in pushing for mass immigration throughout the last century, and there's no more reason that should be a secret than there is that Roman Catholics have pushed hard for banning abortion.

Unfortunately, there is a secret about it—because people who mention it tend to get smashed as "anti-Semites."

But these days real anti-Semitism doesn't come from those who talk about the Jewish role in promoting liberal immigration policies. It comes from Arabs and other Third World immigrants whom those very policies have welcomed.

When they start bringing it to Mr. Karnow's "multicultural, multicolored, multilingual" neighborhood, we'll see if he still prefers those who have made it that way to the dreary lily-white people who used to live there.

I have numerous reasons for hating Nordicists, but as an American, the Immigration act of 1923, a fake racialist piece of legislation that started the road to racial ruin for my country, and was promoted by Mediterranean and Slav hating nativists is reason enough.
Our country went from 80% White in 1820, to 90% White in 1920 thanks to nearly unrestricted European immigration. Up until around 1880 this was principally from Northern Europe, mostly Germany and Ireland.
However by 1880 most of the Whites who wanted to leave NW Europe for the US had already done so. In addition, the economy in NW Europe was rapidly improving, giving less of an incentive to immigrate. Naturally America then turned to the Mediterranean and Slavic nations of Southern and Eastern Europe, and by 1920 they pushed our White population to 90 % and had a key role in building the greatest economy and complex of cities the world had ever known. The US was now a Second Rome, a Pan Aryan Superpower where all White nationalities came together to live work, worship and love, and there was no end in sight with the White population soaring, the middle class exploding in ranks, working men driving autos made by the Aryan Irish American Henry Ford, and increasingly paid excellent wages by Aryan entrepreneurs and patriots like Mr. Ford who realized that the Aryan worker was not an animal to be exploited, but a treasured and skilled resource to be cultivated.
However not all businessmen were like Mr. Ford, who kept Blacks out of his factories. When WW1 occurred, even Americas exploding White population was not large enough to man the trenches and the factories, so the first tiny trickle of Blacks was brought up from the South.
Of course, these desperate Blacks worked for nearly nothing, and some traitorous plutocrats now had an idea...if after the war those uppity Whites could be kept from coming in from Europe, imagine all the cheap Negro labor they could exploit… and damn what it would do to the Pan Aryan paradise that had been created.
So these unscrupulous men, not Jews mostly, but WASPS with connections to freemasonry, devised a clever scheme, a diabolically clever one… one that almost made the ADL look like armature night.
They promoted the so called racialist theories of various Nordic supremacist crackpots like Lothrop Stoddard and Madison Grant, who while at first glance seeming to be WP, in reality were precursors of Arthur Kemp. They attributed every advancement of White Civilization to Nordics, and suggested that while Mediterranean’s were Whites, they were Whites of a marginal sort, despite the obvious fact that the overwhelming majority of Ancient White Civilizations were Mediterranean.
They cultivated religious hatred and division by denouncing Catholics as "Papists" who allegedly were plotting to take over the world, all the while ignoring their own connections to freemasonry and the international banking elite.
They viciously attacked the waves of Southern and Eastern European immigrants due to the presence of a tiny number of Communists and Anarchists, while looking the other way at the already massive infiltration of One World Socialist ideas among the Wasp Eastern elite.
The once noble and thoroughly Pan Aryan Klan of General Forrest was revived as an anti- Med, anti -Slav. Anti-White Immigrant and Anti- Catholic hate group. The Klan departed so badly from its original ideals and became so Statist in nature that it eventually got a law passed in Oregon outlawing Catholic schools, which a still patriotic US Supreme Court overturned as a flagrant assault on freedom of religion.
A few far sited Pan Aryans, Southern and Northern European alike, deplored this hijacking of racialism by enemies of the White race, Dr. Coon, Julius Evola, and Il Duce himself among them. But their numbers were small.
As a result of all of this the Immigration Act of 1923 was passed and in the guise of protecting the White race, it did just the opposite:

(1) It sharply restricted Southern and Eastern European Immigration through imposing a quota system which overwhelmingly favored Northwest Europe at the expense of Southern and Eastern Europe.

(2) The problem was that nearly all those from NW Europe who had wished to immigrate had done so years earlier, and the NW Europe quotas went almost entirely unfilled, while very few were allowed in from the rest of Europe.
(3) The net result was a sharp drop in TOTAL WHITE IMMIGRATION, to less than 10% of previous levels

(4)However, what almost no one realizes is that this scheme PLACED NO RESTRICTIONS WHATEVER ON IMMIGRATION FROM THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE! Meaning that Blacks from the Caribbean , as well as Non-White Latin Americans had no legal barrier to coming in. This loophole was mostly closed in the 1954 Immigration act, but by then hundreds of thousands of Blacks and Non-White Latin Americans had come in, this was a small amount for a country the size of the US, but it did give them a series of small beachheads that they would later vastly expand following the opening of the floodgates with the 1965 Immigration act

(5) As the boom of the 20s went on, with only a trickle of European immigrants available, labor shortages soon appeared. This encouraged the first significant numbers of Blacks to leave the South for Americas cities, very slowly at first, than picking up steam with both the depression and WW2.

(6) In 1920 NYC was 98% White, but as the above process went on, the steady stream of Blacks became a flood after WW2, and this was the beginning of the end of our cities, the Nordicist law in effect replacing a booming Southern and Eastern European population with "cheap" black labor...which we have not stopped paying the price for since

(7) Needless to say, the growth in proportion of the White population slowed and had halted by the 1940 census. By the 1950 Census, the White proportion showed a slight decline for the first time in our nations history. This slow drop of course became a tailspin after 1965.

(8) This Nordish swindle that would embarrass the ADL had one more grin echo. Naturally many White ethnics resented this law, and were actually swindled into supporting the 1965 Immigration Act by being told it would open up Southern and Eastern European immigration while not significantly increasing Non-White immigration. Talk about Chutzpah!

The extension of settling North America beyond NW Europeans to Eastern and Southern Europeans was not only good for America, it was good for NW Europe
America was far too bigger place for only 1 segment of our race to populate it.

National Origins Act 1924 was a good piece of legislation. Only a Jew or a retard with a delusional agenda would hate it. Sensible idea - only allow in immigrants in proportion to their numbers already in America. Permits the Yanks to deal with the problems they've got and stamp out Who cares that they restricted Southern and Eastern Europeans? North Europeans made America - and they passed the law.
