J. R. R. Tolkien's world a metaphor for our world ?
- - - - - - Let's look at Tolkien's world . . . . . Race means everything in Middle-Earth. We have the humans . . The dwarves. The Hobbits . . . The elves . . . . as "good guys" . . . Then we have . . . The orcs . . . . . and the Uruk-Hai . . . . . as "bad guys" . . . Hmmmmm . . It is a welcome change to , so far , see a story where race does matter . . . Further . . There is a wicked Lord in Middle Earth who wishes to take over . . He detests humans ( and in a way all dwarves , hobbits , elves fall under the umbrella of 'humans' too since they have human shape , just a different phenotype . .) . . So he creates a state of beasts who are ready to trash the world of humans . . He further deceives them by handing out magic rings , supposedly there to 'govern a people' , in reality he has the 'master-ring' to control all others. . Hmmmm . . - - - - - - - - - . . really ? Could this really be an allusion to our world ? Let's see . . The NWO wishes to take over . . Everybody who digs deeper into politics realises that sooner or later . . What kinds of methods do they use ? Banking . . They have control over the money . . Money is what makes nations flow . . . At what expense do they lend it ? Interest . . What a way to bleed nations dry . . And what other methods do they use ? In order to bring down the European peoples they ecourage multiculturalism . . - - - - - - - Well , well , well . . Aha ! ! Similarities , apparently . . One would have to be blind to not see them . . To be honest . . The way I view it . . The "One-Ring" is supposed to be a metaphor for the interest system by which the "private bankers" bleed people dry . . . . i. e. destroy nations . . Concerning the races of Middle-Earth . . Isn't that the way the Europeans in "ye olden times" used to view foreigners ? As 'beasts' ? So I think one can say . . Tolkien's world is a perfect metaphor for our world . . I think it is our world explained from a mythological point of view . . Who agrees ? Last edited by ColdFire; October 19th, 2018 at 11:59 PM. |
