Post Maria Miller wants to suck up to transgender vote by removing gender from UK passports and driving licences

Passports and driving licences should not state if the holder is male or female because it causes problems for transgender people, a Conservative MP has said.

Maria Miller, who chairs the women and equalities committee, said the government should “strip back” talking about gender unless it was necessary.

A person’s gender was not relevant on official documents and created an unconscious bias in job and university applications, she said.

Miller’s comments came during an inquiry by the committee into transgender equality, which heard evidence from NHS England that there were around 4,500 referrals to gender identity services each year, including increasing numbers of children.

In an interview with the Times, Miller said: “As a society and a government we should be looking at ways of trying to strip back talking about gender, and only do that when it’s absolutely necessary. We need to understand that gender stereotyping can be as damaging for men as it can be for women.

“For individuals who have decided to transition but haven’t necessarily got the right documentation, it can cause problems. Why do we need gender on our driving licence? Why do we have to have it on our passport if it doesn’t really add identification? It’s not relevant. Australia has decided to degender their passports.”

She said women now held a “seismically different” role in society.

“If we are going to help girls who are coming through our education system not to be hampered by gender stereotypes then we have to look at these things.

“There’s so much we can do to make the playing field level and in university applications as well. We’ve got to tackle the unconscious bias in the system.”

The committee was expected to publish a report on transgender discrimination next week.

Figures published last year showed that the number of children aged 10 or under referred to the NHS to help deal with transgender feelings had more than quadrupled in the last six years.

Many experienced gender dysphoria, a recognised medical condition in which someone feels uncomfortable because of a mismatch between their biological sex and gender identity, according to NHS Choices.

Post Sadiq Khan, Labour's candidate for London Mayor has underscored his belief in a multicultural west which embraces Islamic values, proclaiming to Muslims abroad: I AM THE WEST

Sadiq Khan, Labour’s candidate for London Mayor has underscored his belief in a multicultural west which embraces Islam and its values, proclaiming to Muslims abroad: “I am the west.” If elected, Khan will become London’s first Muslim mayor.

In an interview with The Spectator, Khan said that London is one of the best cities in the world to be a Muslim thanks to British laws protecting the rights of Muslims to follow their religion. So passionate is he about London’s openness to Islam, he insists that he wouldn’t want his daughters growing up anywhere else.

“There are laws here to protect them being discriminated against. Laws here that allow me, if I want to, to do my ablutions and pray. I could wear black and grow a beard; if my wife chose to she could wear a hijab. I feel so strongly about this,” he said.

Indeed, he feels so strongly that he wants the London mayoralty in his hands to be a beacon to Islamic nations: “we should explain to people in Muslim majority countries that I am the West,” he said, “so when they think they hate the West they are hating me.”

In a bid to distance himself from his party leader Jeremy Corbyn, whose hard left brand includes overtones of anti-Semitism and a history of cosying up to Islamists such as Hamas and Hezbollah, Khan is at pains to point out that he is not in frequent contact with Corbyn. The last time they were together, he says, is when they had their photo taken together to promote the living wage. Instead, he paints himself as an inclusive candidate.

However, despite his praise for Londoner’s willingness to embrace multiculturalism, he still wants to see the city go further. Insisting that the government has a role to play in cranking up integration, rather than allowing London to develop naturally, he added: “We’ve got to think a bit more about how we encourage, cajole people into integrating much more.”

Those who Khan considers in need of more encouragement presumably include the one third of Londoners who are “uncomfortable” with the idea of a Muslim major, according to a recent YouGov poll for LBC radio.

Yet Londoners may have good cause for concern. In 2001, four years before his election to Parliament, Khan was the attorney acting for the Nation of Islam in its successful High Court bid to overturn the 15 year ban on its leader, Louis Farrakhan, visiting the UK. Khan described the judge’s decision as “very brave and sensible”.

In 2005, the same year that he was awarded Parliamentary Newcomer of the Year by The Spectator, Khan visited Babar Ahmad in Woodhill Prison, where he was being held on terrorism charges; he did so again the following year. Despite Khan’s best campaigning efforts to have Ahmed released, he was eventually extradited to the United States where he pleaded guilty to the terrorist offences of conspiracy, and providing material support to the Taliban.

Khan also campaigned for the release and repatriation of Shaker Aamer, Britain’s last Guantanamo detainee, who was returne

Post The usa's takeover of the uk

US military camps include:

NSA interception facility.

The largest US Air Force (USAF) base in the UK, with some 4,600 personnel.

A key USAF installation, providing support for special-services missions.

An intelligence-analysis centre (along with nearby RAF Molesworth).

Part of the Pentagon's global military command and control system.

Home to the US aircraft used to bomb Yugoslavia and Iraq.

One of the largest stores of US heavy weapons.

Used by the NSA.

When it was trying to buy Cadbury, Kraft promised to keep open the Cadbury factory near Bristol.

After Kraft's takeover of Cadbury, Kraft closed the Bristol factory within weeks and moved manufacturing to Poland.

The three main UK political parties 'have been taken over by the CIA'.

In April 2010 there was an explosion on Deepwater Horizon, the drilling rig being used by BP off the coast of the USA. The share price of BP dropped dramatically.

"BP has fallen from its formerly unassailable status as world's top oil company and may be subject to hostile takeover.

"The fact that the Deepwater Horizon explosion has been blamed on faulty sealing work on the seabed drill hole done by Halliburton (Cheney's company) should set-off alarm bells.

According to a former crash investigator, "In the Deepwater Horizon, three fail safe systems failed to operate as they were designed to do.

"Another indication of tampering.

"The likelihood that all these systems failed at the same time in the sequence necessary to produce this outcome is astronomical." (BP oil rig disaster a terror attack...... or government sabotage ...)

There is some controversy over whether or not certain people knew in advance about the Gulf of Mexico rig explosion.

There was a report that certain people 'betted' on TransOcean stocks falling.

Reportedly, someone placed 'shorts' on TransOcean stock days before the explosions in the Gulf of Mexico.

Reportedly, Goldman Sachs did the same with airline stocks prior to 911 and again with the housing bubble.

True Ott, Ph.D., wrote the following:

I have confirmed that there were indeed numerous "shorts" placed on TransOcean stock just days before the "problem".

Reportedly, Dr. Ott has confirmed from two sources that Goldman Sachs was in on the shorts being placed on TransOcean stock.

In December 2008 we read in The Telegraph that "The most startling takeover target of the year will be BP, which will attract interest from Exxon Mobil...

Giant oil-services provider Halliburton "may be a primary suspect in the investigation into the oil rig explosion that has devastated the Gulf Coast", the Wall Street Journal reported.

With oil at $30 a barrel and still falling the US government must have very altruistic motives to want BP. Fact in pure monetary terms the UK would have become wealthier in NAFTA than it has in the EU. The bottom line in US domination is when churchill pissed away the empire and the UK became a beggar it would have been better served becoming a dependent state of the US like Costa Rica.
As it stands the UK has all the negative from US control and very few of the benefits that it should get as the US 's most compliant ally outside of the third world.
The rajist's and their dream of empire did more to fuck the UK than mass immigration. The idea that there was some sort of valid aesthetic value in choosing the soviets over the USA is what has produced the likes of Corbyn,Powell and the rest of the scum that Britain has endured as ppolitical leaders since the 40's

Post Britain is to create a marine reserve only slightly smaller than the UK in the waters of Ascension Island.

The British government is to create a marine reserve only slightly smaller than the UK in the waters of Ascension Island in the South Atlantic, it has been announced.

A grant of STG300,000 ($A606,367) from the charitable Bacon Foundation will be used to close an area of just over half the island's waters to fishing, to police a tuna fishery in line with the best international standards in the other half, and to work out the final boundaries of a marine reserve which could be declared, subject to local agreement, as soon as 2017. It will measure 234,291 square kilometres.

The grant, which will be administered by the charity Blue Marine Foundation for the government of the island - part of a British Overseas Territory - will enable the protection of waters described as a "hope spot" with high marine biodiversity by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.

The waters have a host of extraordinary species including some of the largest marlin in the world, one of the largest populations of green turtles, large colonies of tropical seabirds and the island's own unique frigate bird.

James Duddridge, the Minister for the UK Overseas Territories, said: "The UK Government is particularly grateful to the Bacon Foundation for providing 300,000 to cover costs of enforcement over the coming fishing season and to contribute to surveillance, science and management for the next 18 months.

"This will aid the Ascension Island Government in identifying and securing the future size and shape of a fully protected marine reserve in at least 50 per cent of Ascension's maritime zone. This reserve could be ready for formal designation as soon as 2017, once further scientific data has been collected and analysed."

Dr Judith Brown, director of fisheries and marine conservation, Ascension Island Government, said: "We will continually monitor the fishery, examining any new scientific evidence for particular areas or species which need further protection to ensure strong environmental governance of our waters."

Conservation philanthropist Louis Bacon said: "Ascension Island has rich marine biodiversity, with globally important nesting areas for green turtles, internationally significant seabird colonies and several inshore marine species found nowhere else on earth."

Post Sorry we are not currently accepting comments on this article: wonder why? Migrant who walked through Channel Tunnel granted UK asylum

Sorry we are not currently accepting comments on this article.

A Sudanese man who was arrested after walking through the 31-mile (50-kilometer) Channel Tunnel from France to England has been granted asylum in Britain, lawyers said Monday.

Abdul Rahman Haroun, 40, was detained in August near the British end of the tunnel at Folkestone in southeastern England. Police said Haroun had slipped past officers at the tunnel entrance and dodged hundreds of surveillance cameras before being spotted by British security guards.

He was charged with obstructing a railway engine or carriage under a 19th-century law, the Malicious Damage Act.

Haroun's caseworker, Sadie Castle of law firm Kent Defence, said the British government granted him asylum on Dec. 24. At a court hearing Monday, a lawyer said prosecutors were considering whether to drop the charge in light of the decision.

Haroun, who has been detained since his arrest, was released on bail until a Jan. 18 hearing at Canterbury Crown Court.

Thousands of migrants have tried to reach Britain on trucks and freight trains through the undersea tunnel in the past year, and several have been killed in the attempt.

Operator Eurotunnel said Haroun's walk was extremely dangerous, since trains travel through the tunnel at up to 100 mph (160 kph). The company said it was disappointed that the prosecution might be dropped.

"We believe that it is something that can only act as an incentive to other illegal immigrants to seek to enter the country," said spokesman John Keefe.

"We had hoped the authorities would use the full force of the law as a dissuasive measure."

Post Exclusive: UK Government urged to reveal its role in getting Saudi Arabia onto UN Human Rights Council | Liberal Democrat and Green Party leaders call on David Cameron

David Cameron has been urged to "come clean" over the role the UK Government played in voting Saudi Arabia on to the UN Human Rights Council after the kingdom's execution of 47 people in a single day sparked outrage across the Middle East.

The leaders of the Liberal Democrat and Green parties have demanded a public inquiry into whether the UK was involved in a secret vote-trading deal in 2013 to secure both countries a place on an influential UN panel.

Diplomatic cables released by Wikileaks last year purported to show that UK initiated the secret negotiations by asking Saudi Arabia for its support.

The exchanges have never been commented on by UK officials. Both Britain and Saudi Arabia were later named among the 47 member states of the UNHRC following the secret ballot.

Following the execution of dozens of people including the prominent Shia cleric Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, Mr Cameron has been accused by human rights campaigners of “turning a blind eye” to Saudi abuses.

And speaking to The Independent, Natalie Bennett and Tim Farron have led calls for the Government to issue a full response to last year's alleged leak.

Ms Bennett, the Green Party leader, said the Saudi kingdom’s role on the UN council was “one of many issued raised by the mass executions”. She called for a public inquiry into the leaked diplomatic cables and the UK’s alleged decision to support Saudi Arabia in spite of its human rights record.

“In light of the weekend's events, the government should be launching an inquiry to establish who made the decision to so abuse the UN process and the principle of universal human rights," she said. "The results of this inquiry must be published.

Members of the Kingdom’s Shia minority, most of whom live in the oil-rich Eastern Province, continue to face discrimination that limits their access to government services and employment. Activists have received death sentences or long prison terms for their alleged participation in protests in 2011 and 2012.

In March 2014, the Interior Ministry stated that authorities had deported over 370,000 foreign migrants and that 18,000 others were in detention. Thousands of workers were returned to Somalia and other states where they were at risk of human rights abuses, with large numbers also returned to Yemen, in order to open more jobs to Saudi Arabians. Many migrants reported that prior to their deportation they had been packed into overcrowded makeshift detention facilities where they received little food and water and were abused by guards.

Dawood al-Marhoon was arrested aged 17 for participating in an anti-government protest. After refusing to spy on his fellow protestors, he was tortured and forced to sign a blank document that would later contain his ‘confession’. At Dawood’s trial, the prosecution requested death by crucifixion while refusing him a lawyer.

“And the government must immediately suspend exports of arms to Saudi Arabia, and strengthen its currently extremely weak diplomatic

More than 30 flood warnings have been issued as strong winds and heavy rain continue to batter parts of Scotland.

Meanwhile a historic castle close to the Queen's residence at Balmoral has been left on the brink of collapsing into a swollen river.

The owner of Abergeldie Castle was forced to evacuate the 16th century tower house in Aberdeenshire on Sunday after the River Dee swept away a chunk of land behind the properly, leaving it only a few feet from the water.

Post British Labour Party "needs ban on all-male leadership" - Its 2016 afterall

Labour's former acting leader Harriet Harman has called for a change in the party's rules to prevent another all-male team from leading the party.

Another influential MP told BBC Newsnight the party's leader was guilty of "low-level non-violent misogyny".

Jeremy Corbyn has come under fire for appointing men to all three shadow "great offices of state" - chancellor, foreign secretary and home secretary.

He is under pressure to give more top roles to women in a reshuffle this week

Forty-three per cent of Labour's MPs are female, but the party leader, deputy leader, chair and London mayoral candidates are all male.

Speaking to BBC Newsnight Harriet Harman, who was acting Labour leader for four months after the party lost the 2015 election, said: "We can't have a men-only leadership when we are party for women and equality.

"Women expect to see men and women working together and we can't have an all-male leadership again and therefore we need to change the rules."

Jeremy Corbyn is believed to have started talks with shadow cabinet members as part of a reshuffle. Existing shadow cabinet members who are reportedly under threat include defence secretary Maria Eagle and chief whip Dame Rosie Winterton.

Jess Phillips, who was elected for Birmingham Yardley in 2015, has also criticised Mr Corbyn for failing to put women in senior positions.

"Had Tony Blair not given any of top jobs to the women - had that same make-up of his team existed - people would rightly have been up in arms," she told BBC Newsnight.

"But it's a bit like some people in the Labour Party are accepting low-level non-violent misogyny because it's Jeremy doing it."

She said she would be prepared to run for the leadership herself at a later date. "It's not something I'm planning on doing anytime soon, but it's absolutely something that I would do in the future."

In another intervention on the issue, Dawn Butler, who chairs the women's Parliamentary Labour Party, said she was concerned about the impact of forthcoming boundary changes on female MPs.

"We can't afford to lose women because it's a fight. My fear is that women will be picked off so I've written to the leader and deputy leader because Tom [Watson] is doing a review and it's a huge worry for me."

A report released last month by the Fabian Society criticised the Labour Party for "poor representation of women at all levels". Women make up 44% of Labour's membership and 43% of Labour's MPs, but just 30% of constituency Labour Party chairs and 16% of Labour council leaders.

Women also account for only 11% of the most senior Labour Party staff.

The same survey also found that women standing for selection as Labour parliamentary candidates were almost three times more likely than men to be asked questions relating to their gender.

Post The Sun's Kelvin MacKenzie Accused Of Arrogance After Saying White Men Shouldn't Be Searched At Airports

Columnist and former Sun editor Kelvin MacKenzie has claimed that airport staff shouldn't bother frisking old white men, because they are "not the terrorists".

Only young Muslim men from the Middle East or Africa would carry a bomb onto a plane, the writer says, slamming security checks at a Dubai airport.

Writing in The Sun about a recent stopover in Dubai, 69-year-old MacKenzie, who is white, says he didn't understand why airport security personnel "wasted their time" searching him.

If the security guard had just had "a quick glance" at the photo of him on his Sun column, showing his race and age, he would have known "I was not going to be a terrorist", MacKenzie argues.

Only Muslims from the Middle east and Africa should be searched at the airport, the journalist writes, apparently supporting racial profiling.

"Racial profiling is an uncomfortable subject but everybody knows — especially the nervous employees at Dubai airport — that if a bomb is to be smuggled on to a plane it will be carried on by a Muslim from the Middle East or Africa."

Stopping "law-abiding, non-violent white people" at airports is foolish, he adds.

"They know who they are looking for. I am not one of them. And neither are you," MacKenzie concludes, calling on the Dubai airport to change its procedure.

Fiyaz Mughal, director of the Tell MAMA campaign which records anti-Muslim attacks, called MacKenzie's comments "wrong" and claimed they showed "breath-taking" arrogance.

He said: “Maybe Kelvin MacKenzie has missed the fact that terrorists can also be white and that it is not the domain of racial or religious groups or did he miss the dreadful impacts of Timothy McVeigh and Pavlo Lapshyn? The suggestion that white people have not been involved in terrorism racialises the issue when there are cases of individuals involved.

"Also, to suggest that profiling should take place and that Mr MacKenzie should not be checked thoroughly shows an arrogance that is breath-taking. Factually he is wrong and his rhetoric actually does not resonate with the wider public.”

MacKenzie's claim echoes a Daily Mail piece from 2012 arguing against a "catastrophically stupid" approach by staff at Gatwick Airport of white passengers being searched "despite being suspected of nothing at all".

"According to customs officials, white passengers are routinely stopped and searched to help avoid complaints of racial discrimination by black passengers who are the real targets," the piece claimed,

Jeremy Clarkson has also suggested that queues for airport border control checks could be solved by “a bit of racism.”

Writing in The Sun, the Top Gear host railed against "bleeding-heart liberals" who wanted airport staff to search people of all religions, rather than just "high risk" passengers.

"They believe that … a hook-handed imam with fire in his heart and hatred in his eyes is just as likely to whip up anti-western sentiment as Joanna Lumley,” Clarkson said.

But these thoughts could be c

Post Britcucks Attack Their Own Selves for Failing to Keep Terrorists Inside the Country

DailyStormer.com

January 6, 2016

If you have terrorists inside of your country, the most important thing is to make sure they stay in your country.

Opposition members of Parliament criticized the British government Tuesday for failing to prevent a man charged with serious crimes from traveling to Syria to join Islamic State extremists.

The accusations came after British news media reports that a man who appeared in an IS video posted Sunday in which five purported spies were shot dead might be Siddhartha Dhar, also known by his Muslim name Abu Rumaysah.

While nobody has provided a firm link between Dhar and the video, the Labour Party spokesman on terrorism said either way the government failed to properly monitor Dhar after he was freed on bail in 2014. Andy Burnham told Parliament that a letter asking Dhar to surrender his passport was sent after he had already left for Syria.

“The system failed because it allowed him to go to Syria, even though he was well known to authorities and had been arrested six times on terror-related offenses,” Burnham said.

A lot of people would assume that if you’re not going to just execute terrorists, you would want them in a country other than your own.

Dhar, a Hindu who converted to Islam, taunted British authorities after his arrival in Syria, posting a photo of himself on social media with his baby son in one arm and an AK-47 assault rifle in the other. “What a shoddy security system Britain must have to allow me to breeze through Europe,” he tweeted.

There seem to be a few problems with Britain.

Although the possible link to the video has brought renewed scrutiny on Dhar, his sister said she isn’t sure he’s the man in the video and some who knew him in Britain say they can’t be positive it’s him.

Official confirmation is unlikely; Helen Bower, spokeswoman for Prime Minister David Cameron, said officials won’t comment on the identities of the people involved.

The masked figure in the video appears to have stepped into the role formerly played by British citizen Mohammed Emwazi, who was killed by a drone strike in November after taking part in a series of beheading videos that earned him the nickname “Jihadi John.”

Meanwhile, London’s mayor said a small child shown threatening non-Muslims in the same video should be taken from his parents if the family ever returns to Britain.

London Mayor Boris Johnson said that the boy should be taken from his parents and placed in foster care if the family ever returns to Britain.

“This child is a victim of child abuse and he is, as I understand it, a British national,” Johnson said. “I think we have a duty of care.”

Being duty-bound to raise someone else’s children is the literal definition of cuckoldry. So it makes sense you’d be all up on that one, Britain.

Post UK Investigatory Powers Bill surveillance plans 'totalitarian,' NSA whistleblower says

Planned surveillance laws in the UK are "totalitarian” and the bulk collection of people’s data makes people "more vulnerable” to terrorist attacks, a National Security Agency (NSA) whistleblower has said.

William Binney, who worked in senior positions at the NSA for 30 years before leaving and speaking publicly about the agencies practices, has said the mass collection "costs lives" as it overwhelms security services with information.

Speaking to WIRED ahead of his appearance in front of the government’s Joint Select Committee that is scrutinising the government’s controversial draft Investigatory Powers Bill (IP Bill), Binney said the legislation should be rewritten.

"Fundamentally, bulk acquisition is a major impediment to success by analysts and law enforcement,” he said. Instead of mass collection of personal information the former NSA technical director said a targeted surveillance approach, built on previous intelligence should be used to track down suspected criminals.

"Retroactively analysing people, anybody you want, any time you want, that's certainly possible with bulk acquisition of data but that's certainly not what democracies are built on. That's what totalitarian states are built on,” Binney told WIRED.

The IP Bill, which was announced by Home Secretary Theresa May in November, legitimises the bulk collection of data – including data that has been intercepted as well as communications and internet use information. "Access to bulk data is crucial to monitor known and high-priority threats but is also a vital tool in discovering new targets and identifying emerging threats," the bill states.

It was previously possible for security agencies in the UK to mass collect data but was not revealed until details were published by Edward Snowden. In June 2013 the Guardian, with documents from Snowden, revealed spy agency GCHQ's Tempora programme was hoovering up an entire month’s worth of metadata and three days worth of content from internet use around the UK.

As the bill was announced by May it was also confirmed that Mi5 had secretly collected phone data for 10 years and former deputy prime minister Nick Cleggtold the Guardian only a handful of MPs had known about the previous mass surveillance.

The 299-page draft bill from the government states that communications companies -- which will include internet and mobile providers -- will have to store internet browsing histories for a year. The internet connection records that will have to be stored will include each website visited by a person but not the specific webpage.

However, May also introduced extra judicial 'safeguards' for the protection of data. For security services to see a UK citizen’s records they must obtain a targeted warrant, the data will already be stored without the need for a warrant.

Other snooping powers included in the IP Bill are: the ability for law enforcement to bulk hack into phones and devices; protection of MPs communications to be mad

Post Britain ranks among the least religious nations in the world, with just one in five Brits saying that religion is important in their lives.

Britain ranks among the least religious nations in the world, with just one in five Brits saying that religion is important in their lives. In Europe, only the French have a lower religious affiliation.

The findings come in a Pew Research Centre report, which asked people from 40 countries across the world how important religion was to them in their day to day lives. The UK ranked 34th, with only Russia, South Korea, Australia, France, Japan and China behind.

The findings suggest that Britain is increasingly a secular country, as adherence to the Christian faith continues to plummet. 40 percent of the population classified themselves as Anglicans in 1983, by 2013 that figure had more than halved.

An earlier report released by Pew in April last year suggested that Christians will be a minority group in the UK within 35 years, dropping to 45.5 percent by 2050. However, a 2014 British Social Attitudes survey found that non-adherence had already relegated Christianity to a minority belief, with just 41.7 percent of those surveyed identifying as Christians, against 50.6 percent of the population saying that they have no religion.

And a survey by WIN/Gallup International also conducted in April, which questioned people in 65 countries on how religious they were, found that in the UK just one in three said they were religious, against 53 percent who said they were not. Just 13 percent, however, were avowed atheists.

The more recent Pew report also found that, in general, when looking at global attitudes there was a strong correlation between income level and religious adherence. But the United States bucks this trend – it was the wealthiest country on the list of 40, yet 53 percent of Americans surveyed said that religion was very important in their lives.

However, Conrad Hackett, a demographer at Pew warned against assuming that religious adherence will fade away as countries grow wealthier, as is often assumed by secularists. While some countries have followed that pattern, he said, in others “there is no evidence that people are shedding their religious identity, even as their societies become wealthier”.

“In China, for example, people are more and more claiming some religious identity, and we have no clear evidence that as these countries develop, they will follow the patterns we see in Western Europe.”

Meanwhile, in a separate Pew report on global attitudes to freedom and democratic values, a third of Brits disagreed with the statement “it’s very important that people can practice religion freely in our country”.

Astonishingly, nearly a quarter disagreed that “honest elections held regularly with a choice of at least two parties” were important in Britain. However, 92 percent thought it was important that women should have the same rights as men.

Post Hackney TNB

A man was left fighting for his life after a row at an east London McDonald’s ended in a violent attack.

The man, 37, was rushed to hospital with a brain haemorrhage after being punched in the face and sent crashing to the ground, where he smashed his head.

It happened after a Boxing Day night out. Thanks to the efforts of medics his injuries are no longer thought to be life-threatening.

“The victim was ejected from McDonald’s by restaurant security following a disagreement,” a Met spokesman said on Friday.

“He was followed out of the restaurant by one of three suspects who hit him in the face once as he stood outside.

“This caused the victim to fall backwards and hit his head on the floor.

“The three suspects then fled the scene heading towards the City as the victim lay on the ground.”

The attack happened outside the Stratford Centre branch of the restaurant at about 1.50am on December 27.

Police want to trace three men seen on CCTV at the time of the assault.

Post "Anti-Semitic" crimes in Hackney almost doubled in a year, wails Rabbi daughter of pedo Janner

Antisemitic crimes in Hackney have increased by 87 per cent according to latest figures from the Metropolitan police.

In the previous year, a total of 122 incidents of hate crime were committed, up from 65 during the same period of the previous year. Across London, 483 incidents were recorded across London, making Hackney a target for one quarter of all anti-Semitic crime.

The main targeted area is Stamford Hill, which contains one of the largest Orthodox Communities in Europe, being home to 30,000 Jews. The area is known for being populated with Holocaust survivors and their family members and descendants.

Rabbi Laura Janner Klausner, senior rabbi to Reform Judaism, said: “Hackney includes the ultra- orthodox communities who are so clearly identified as Jews by their clothing, which makes them unfortunately a very easy target.”

Recorded incidents in the last year include a Nazi swastika graffitied onto a fence outside Beis Chinuch Lebonos Girls School in Hackney, anti-Jewish leaflets handed out on the streets and racist abuse hurled at passers- by from self-proclaimed Neo Nazis.

In one notorious case last month, a man was sentenced to three years and four months in jail for inciting racial hatred. Joshua Bonehill-Paine planned a rally entitled, “An Urgent Appeal: The Jewification of Great Britain”, and appealed on Facebook to “liberate Stamford Hill”.

Rabbi Herschel Gluck, President of the neighbourhood watch group Stamford Hill Shomrim, told Eastlondonlines: “Hackney has a large and vibrant Jewish community. However, there has sadly been a more negative attitude towards minorities, and in certain quarters a greater tolerance regarding this, which has led to certain people thinking that they can get away with behaving negatively towards Jewish people.”

Hackney Police Borough Commander, Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Laurence, said: “All forms of hate crime are unacceptable and at Hackney we work hard to bring offenders to justice and support victims of this type of crime.

“With antisemitic crime we work in partnership with the Shomrim and the Jewish community to prevent, deter and detect crime.”

Campaign Against Antisemitism, a national charity dedicated to exposing and countering hate crime through education and zero-tolerance enforcement of law, said: “Britain is one of the best countries in the world in which to be Jewish, but we must fight to keep it that way. There is a rising tide of antisemitism and is has reached a tipping point.”

The number of Islamophobic crimes has also doubled, from 17 to 35, and the number of homophobic crimes has increased by more than a third to 108.

Post Police 'used terror powers to spy on officers blowing whistle on racism and EDL-supporting officers'

Britain’s most scandal-hit police force faces a slew of legal claims after being accused of using controversial anti-terrorism powers to snoop on officers blowing the whistle on racism.

Cleveland constabulary faces claims that it secretly obtained details from confidential emails between Asian officers and their representatives and solicitors to defend against employment cases brought against the force.

It is the latest scandal involving alleged police misuse of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (Ripa). Last month, Scotland Yard was ruled to have illegally accessed the phone records of a Sun journalist while using Ripa to find the source of a leak during the “Plebgate” scandal. The legal challenges – set to be filed imminently – are yet another setback for Cleveland Police. The then chief constable was sacked in 2012 for gross misconduct, and in November an employment tribunal exposed a racist campaign that targeted an Asian firearms officer.

The ordeal endured by Nadeem Saddique, 44, highlighted racist attitudes that the force’s own disciplinary unit failed to investigate properly, the tribunal found. Fellow officers had described him as “just a Paki” and pledged to oust him from the unit.

PC Saddique had written emails in 2012 to a senior ethnic minority officer after a white colleague sported an English Defence League sticker on the holster of his weapon. The sticker reputedly included the phrase: “Crusades against Muslims, tell me you’re a Muslim and I’ll shoot you.”

The Independent can reveal emails from Mr Saddique were part of a cache of documents that Cleveland Police secretly sought to recover from his senior ethnic minority colleague using the Ripa laws during a criminal investigation into unauthorised leaks from the force. The senior officer has since left the force and is preparing his own legal claim.

The force also used Ripa, which was passed in 2000 to help investigate terrorism and serious crimes, to check phone data of police officers, a solicitor and journalists over a five-month period, according to documents secured by one of the targets of the inquiry.

It is understood that lawyers and former police officers are all preparing claims against the force alleging “misfeasance in public office” over the potential viewing of legally privileged documents.

The trawl in 2012 would have allowed the force to see emails containing details about at least three Asian officers claiming discrimination, according to sources.

The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act, made law in 2000, was designed to help the authorities to fight serious crime. It empowered public bodies, including police and local councils, to carry out surveillance and intercept electronic communications. However, critics say the powers have been abused, with officials using the act to spy on suspected littering and other minor offences. Last year, ministers tightened the rules to require police to get a judge’s permission to obtain journalists’ phone r

Post Electoral Corruption [in the UK]

Our aim here is to demonstrate the glaring abuses of current electoral practice that militate against the ability of nationalist political parties to advance our cause electorally, with anything other than isolated or sporadic successes that are inevitably short lived; which make it virtually impossible in the current circumstances for a nationalist political party to achieve power; and which render the electoral route to political power a futile process for us at present.

History has shown that where there is widespread scope for electoral malpractice by the state, any radical new movement that challenges the fundamental values of the current political regime, can only bring about a reform of the electoral system once it has achieved the wherewithal such that it is able to challenge the existing order by non-parliamentary means.

History of the Electoral System

Detailed below is a catalogue of the main pieces of legislation determining the current electoral system in the UK. It is important that we have a basic understanding of the evolution of the current system and while the scope exists for the current system to be tightly administered in such a way that the public could have complete confidence in its robustness, current electoral practice has been allowed to become sloppy to such an extent that no intelligent person, aware of the facts, can have anything less than grave doubts over the legitimacy of the results of recent elections, at either a local, regional or national level, or indeed at the European level.

While the Bill of Rights 1689 established the principle of regular parliaments and free elections, until the Reform Act of 1832 no more than 10% of the adult male population of Britain had the right to vote.

The Reform Act of 1832, sometimes referred to as the Great Reform Act, abolished the Rotten Boroughs that had corrupted earlier politics and reduced the property qualifications required to vote, thereby enfranchising a further 4% of adult males. These steps were not greatly significant in themselves, but what was important was that these reforms were the first significant step on the way to universal adult franchise.

During the mid-1800s the Chartist movement campaigned for universal male franchise and the secret ballot, but to no avail. However the Reform Act of 1867 did increase the size of the electorate up to 32% of the adult male population by introducing further provisions reducing the property qualification so that all male householders could vote, and this allowed some working class men to vote for the first time.

The Ballot Act 1872 replaced open elections with a secret ballot system. This was followed by the Corrupt and Illegal Practices Prevention Act of 1883, which criminalised attempts to bribe voters and standardised the amount that could be spent on election expenses. The Representation of the People Act 1884 and the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885 (the Third Reform Act) together increased the electorate to 5
