Truly Shameful BBC Israeli Propaganda

Tue, Jun 30, 2020

In a genuinely outrageous piece of victim blaming, BBC News just blamed Palestinian intransigence in refusing to accept Israeli annexation of the West Bank for the deaths of Palestinian children caused by the Israeli blockade of medical supplies to Gaza.

This is a precise quote from the BBC TV News presenter headline at 10.30am:

“The lives of hundreds of sick Palestinian children are being put at risk because of the latest downturn in relations between their leaders and Israel last month. The Palestinian President said his government was giving up on past peace agreements because of Israeli plans to annex parts of the West Bank. That decision stopped co-operation on many security and civil matters including medical and travel permits.”

There followed a heart rending piece by BBC Middle East correspondent Yolande Knell featuring Palestinian children in Gaza dying of varous medical conditions and their distraught mothers.

The entire piece very plainly blamed Palestinian officials for the situation.

The BBC did not blame Israel for placing a blockade illegally preventing pharmaceuticals and medical supplies from entering Gaza – the basic reason the children cannot be treated at home.

The BBC did not blame Israel for blockading in illegally the civilian population of Gaza, so that these children cannot freely leave for treatment in Europe without Israeli clearance.

The BBC did not point out that the proposed annexation of the West Bank is illegal, has been condemned by the UN Secretary General and by 95% of the governments of the world, and will precipitate great violence.

No, the BBC blamed the Palestinians.

“Accept the illegal annexation of still more of your land, or small children will die and it will be your fault”.

That is a line the BBC are perfectly happy to push out on behalf of Israel. It is an astonishing moment for the UK state propagandist. It is important we do not ourselves become complacent at this absolutely unacceptable behaviour.

The disgraceful BBC - which also agitates against white people - has a history of excreting pro-Pissrael propaganda:

EU agenda: Diminishing support for Palestinians one clause at a time

The message from the EU is clear: acquiesce with our agenda or the money stops.

By Amaya Al-Orzza July 2, 2020

After a lengthy correspondence on June 12 the European Union informed the Palestinian human rights organization BADIL that it was canceling their 1.7 million euro joint project, “Mobilizing for Justice in Jerusalem.” The reason the three-year program was canceled? BADIL refused to sign the so-called “anti-terrorism” clause added in the EU’s project conditions.

BADIL is not alone in rejecting those conditions. Last December, following the decision by the EU to incorporate this clause to all its grants, 230 Palestinian groups founded a national campaign to reject all politically conditioned funding. These include arts organizations like the Palestine Circus School, the Freedom Theater, and media groups like the Alternative Information Center. As a legal researcher at BADIL for six years, I have been following the issue closely.

Palestinian nonprofits have overwhelmingly rejected the clause because it allows for the labeling of local political parties and resistance movements as terrorist organizations. As well, it imposes the EU’s definition of what constitutes terrorism on Palestinians, who must accept it – in effect, agreeing that their neighbors, friends, or relatives are “terrorists” – if they wish to receive European funding. What’s more, there is a participatory element where organizations would be asked to screen all persons and groups involved in funded projects, whether they are staff, participants to workshops, or beneficiaries of assistance. This would create a process of using civil society groups to decide who is a “good” or “bad” Palestinian based on European and Israeli criteria. This completely ignores the political context in which Palestinian civil society organizations operate. Categorized as a people “under colonial and foreign domination” by the United Nations, Palestinians have a recognized right to resist the Israeli occupation by all means necessary, including armed struggle. The unchecked criminalization of Palestinian resistance, presented as an essential condition for receiving European funding, ignores the root cause of these resistance movements: the ongoing dispossession of their land.

The beltway consensus on aid to Israel is finally being challenged

By Michael Arria July 2, 2020

Progressive lawmakers sent a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that takes aim at the Israeli government’s proposed annexation plans. Unlike previous Democratic letters on the subject, which have resisted any suggestion that Israel face consequences for such a move, this one actually threatens to condition military aid.
(...)
The text of the letter contains a massive flaw. It claims that annexation would “lay the groundwork for Israel becoming an apartheid state”, an assertion that would certainly be news to all the Palestinians who have been living under Israeli apartheid for decades. Nonetheless, it represents the most forceful congressional response to annexation yet. It’s call for the conditioning of military aid is a watershed moment for congress, as such a tactic was long-thought to be a third rail in U.S. politics. These elected officials are acting on a policy that is already widely popular among Democratic voters and in defiance of the Democratic party’s pro-Israel establishment. It also firmly plants them to the left of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, who has referred to the idea of conditioning military aid as “outrageous.”

Despite pressure from progressives, no major changes in Democratic platform on Israel

BY RON KAMPEAS JULY 16, 2020 1:51 PM

WASHINGTON (JTA) — Centrists on the platform-writing committee of the Democratic National Committee overrode progressives who wanted the platform to condemn Israel’s occupation of the West Bank.

The 2020 platform only alludes to the occupation, preserves Israel’s defense aid and rejects the movement to boycott Israel. But it does warn against annexation, the move that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering for portions of the West Bank.
(...)
But just as they did in 2016, centrists overruled progressives and only alluded to the occupation, warning both Israelis and Palestinians against taking unilateral steps including “annexation” and saying Israel should not expand settlements.
(...)
Additionally, the $3.8 billion Israel gets annually in defense assistance remains sacrosanct in the platform. “Democrats believe a strong secure and democratic Israel is vital to the interests of the United States,” the platform says. “Our commitment to Israel’s security, it’s qualitative military edge, and right to defend itself” as well as the 2016 Obama administration memorandum of understanding establishing the $3.8 billion figure “is ironclad.”

Jews Officially Worse Than Hitler: # of Muslims Killed in 21st C. US Wars 4x Higher Than Population of Israel

Paul Craig Roberts (Paul Craig Roberts) Jul 15, 2020

Holocaust is a word that Zionist propagandists have reserved for Jewish experience. However, in a new book, US-Imposed Post-9/11 Muslim Holocaust & Muslim Genocide (Korsgaard Publishing, 2020), Dr. Gideon Polya documents that three to four times more Muslims have been killed by Washington’s 21st century wars than there are Jews in Israel. Polya concludes that Washington’s holocaust of Muslims is a multiple of the claimed Jewish holocaust number of 6 million.

The cost in dollars to the United States of the gratuitous murder of 32 million Muslims is in the many trillions along with thousands of dead and maimed US soldiers and 88,000 US veteran suicides since September 11, 2001. Americans have paid dearly for the hoax “war on terror” imposed on them by lies and deception.

Polya acquaints the reader with a number of holocausts: the Bengali holocaust, Somali holocaust, opiate holocaust, and the Yemeni, Palestinian, Rohingya and other genocides. In Chapter 20 Polya speaks of the American Holocaust, which consists of untimely and unnecessary American deaths from the diversion of billions of dollars from American needs to Israel.

Palestinians ‘can’t be stuck in the past,’ Trump's son-in-law laments while backing Israel's own thousands-year-old claim to land

31 Aug, 2020 20:55 / Updated 1 day ago

White House adviser Jared Kushner urged Palestinians to make their peace with the newly official alliance between the UAE and Israel – whose leadership refers to its ancient religious texts to justify its own land grabs.

Kushner made the somewhat ironic statement after arriving in the UAE on Monday on board a passenger jet completing the first-ever direct flight from Israel. The route was officially established as part of the Abraham Accords between the two countries and the US earlier this month. The decision was hailed by Washington and its allies as “historic,” though Palestine and its allies have deemed it a betrayal by their erstwhile Arab brethren.
(...)
Kushner also thanked Saudi Arabia on Monday for allowing the UAE-Israel flight to pass through Saudi airspace. While Israel and Saudi Arabia have not yet established official diplomatic relations, the two nations have grown quite cozy, and Israeli officials have gone on the record with their expectations that other Arab nations will soon follow Abu Dhabi’s lead in establishing official relations with Tel Aviv.

State of Palestine: Teenage girl stops IDF soldier attacking injured boy in West Bank

Some despicable pro-jewish hasbara activists have said that this attack is fake, i.e. that it was staged by Palestinian actors, while other hasbara activists admit that the attack is real, but claim that the Palestinian family is to blame for the violence.

When Pissrael's minister of culture and sports, Miriam "Miri" Regev, heard about this she became furious – not because she was upset with the pissraeli soldier who tried to kidnap an injured Palestinian boy, but because the soldier was humiliated by a young girl and a couple of women. Regev wanted the soldier to shoot them:

21 Israeli troops injured as two companies turn on each other in brawl at IDF training base

12 Oct, 2020 21:02

A massive brawl erupted between Israeli troops from two different training companies over who was going to eat first at the canteen. Some 21 soldiers were injured in what the IDF called an “unusual and serious” incident.

The confrontation between training companies representing the Bedouin 585th reconnaissance unit and the Shaked Battalion occurred at the Har Keren training base on Sunday.

Things became so heated in the fracas that one of the troops even started loading his gun, according to one witness who was cited in local reports.

The brawl lasted several minutes and involved around 30 people – some 21 of whom were injured in the altercation. The majority of the soldiers were treated on site, but eight required hospitalization with light injuries.
(...)
And it didn't entirely end there – two of the injured soldiers fought each other while seeking treatment at hospital, but were quickly separated, the IDF said.

Under cover of US elections, Israel wipes entire Palestinian community off the map

Israeli forces demolished the entire Bedouin community of Khirbet Humsah in the northern Jordan Valley, leaving 41 Palestinian children homeless just as winter storms spread through the West Bank.

By Yumna Patel November 5, 2020

As the world was engulfed in the unfolding US elections on November 3rd, Israel quietly demolished an entire Bedouin enclave in the northern Jordan Valley, leaving more than 70 Palestinians homeless just as temperatures started to drop in the occupied West Bank.

At around 11am on Tuesday morning, the residents of Khirbet Husna were shocked to see a caravan of Israeli military jeeps, accompanied by a number of bulldozers and excavators, heading down the dirt pathway to their village.
(...)
“But usually they give us a prior warning. This time, they came and told us to get out of our houses, they gave us just 10 minutes,” she said, adding that the soldiers were accompanied by dozens of workers from Israel’s Civil Administration, the agency responsible for enforcing things like home demolition in the West Bank.

After what felt like mere seconds, as Abu Awwad and her husband tried to empty their home of all the belongings they could, the Israeli bulldozers began demolishing everything around them, as what she described as hundreds of soldiers and Civil Administration workers surrounded them.

“They didn’t leave anything untouched,” Abu Awwad said. “Our homes, our livestock pens, our bathrooms, our water tanks, solar panels, everything. They destroyed everything.”

Just hours after Israeli forces concluded their demolition campaign in Khirbet Humsah, a cold front swept through the West Bank, leaving the families of the village scrambling to find any form of shelter.

“It was cold, windy, and rainy, and we had nowhere to go, nowhere to protect ourselves and our small children,” she said, adding that the family were forced to sleep under makeshift plastic tents, on cold wet mattresses on the soaked soil below them.

World Jewish Congress honors UN boss Antonio Guterres for efforts to end anti-Israel bias

BY CNAAN LIPHSHIZ NOVEMBER 9, 2020 6:45 PM

(JTA) — Since taking over as secretary-general of the United Nations nearly four years ago, Antonio Guterres has taken action and spoken against the widely seen anti-Israel bias in the world body.

On Monday, the World Jewish Congress honored Guterres for those efforts.

At a virtual gala, WJC President Ronald Lauder said Guterres will receive the Theodor Herzl Award this year for his work to change the “bizarre fixation on the Jewish state” at the U.N.

One of those moves came three months after Guterres succeeded Ban Ki-moon as secretary-general. In March 2017, Guterres ordered the withdrawal of a report from a website of the world body that accused Israel of apartheid in March 2017.

The same year, during a speech for International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Guterres referenced the Jewish people’s historic ties to Jerusalem – an issue whose erasure or downplaying in U.N. documents and resolutions prompts criticism from Jews, Israelis and their allies.

In 2017, the Portuguese-born Guterres said that “a modern form of anti-Semitism is the denial of the right of the State of Israel to exist” and that Israel “needs to be treated as any other state, with the same rules.”

A amateur viral video circulating on social media shows how Palestinian young protesters in the Gaza Strip use only rocks to bring down an Israeli drone intruding into the besieged enclave.

Palestinians living in the blockaded Gaza have downed many Israeli drones in the past, but on this rare occasion, young Palestinians pulled off the task by using nothing more than mere rocks.

National Justice Investigates: American Tax Payers Spend At Least $23 Billion On Israel Every Year

Eric Striker 21 hours ago

Last September, Donald Trump accidentally upended an entire generation of myths invented by the left and right that purport to explain America's costly and unpopular military adventures in the Middle East:

"The fact is, we don’t have to be in the Middle East, other than we want to protect Israel. We’ve been very good to Israel. Other than that, we don’t have to be in the Middle East. You know there was a time we needed desperately oil, we don’t need that anymore."

As Mondoweiss pointed out at the time, the explosive admission went completely unmentioned in the mainstream media, which traditionally hangs on every one of Trump's words and reacts hysterically.

Categorizing America's foreign policy catastrophes as done in the service to Israel has until the Trump era always been dismissed by media tastemakers and political gatekeepers as rank anti-Semitism driven by reductionist, simplistic and conspiratorial thinking, even when intelligence officials like Michael Scheuer and foreign policy experts affirm the view.

Trump's lack of subtlety when remarking on using American blood and treasure to incrementally advance the interests of the Jewish state is one reason why the Israel lobby, which is perpetually paranoid about the public noticing their activities, is not keen on reciprocating his often suffocating love.

Their paranoia is justified. This year Congress made the mistake of combining its $900 billion dollar coronavirus stimulus bill, which suffering people are closely followed the development of, with the yearly $1.4 trillion dollar fiscal budget, which is typically ignores.

A deluge of popular anger was provoked by news that we would only be receiving a $600 dollar check under the guise of budget austerity. At the same time, buried deep in the 5,600 monstrosity was a provision setting aside supposed budget constraints to give Israel the equivalent of $5,000 dollars for each of their citizens.

Jews in the media responded to the controversy by calling indignant American tax payers, including actress Alyssa Milano and various left-wing journalists, "fools" and "anti-Semites." They doubled down by stating that the $500 million dollars provided to Israel was a drop in a $2.3 trillion dollar bucket. They pointed out that other countries, such as Jordan, were receiving foreign aid as well.

But even critics of Israel do not properly calculate the true price Americans pay for a state that -- unlike South Korea or Germany -- does not provide any economic or military benefits to the homeland. America does not have military bases in Israel, nor does Israel have anything to trade.

The general figure provided for annual US aid to Israel is $3.8 billion, but as former CIA intelligence officer Philip Giraldi has written, this figure excludes our completely artificial $9 billion dollar trade deficit with them, as well as the $8 billion provided in "loan guarantees" that are basically giveaways since the US Treasury pays interest and principal on these loans.

Goodbye Sheldon Adelson

The malignant toad is dead

PHILIP GIRALDI • JANUARY 19, 2021

Casino magnate and Israeli patriot multi-billionaire Sheldon Adelson, one of the world’s richest men, died in Las Vegas on January 11th at age 87. He had been suffering from cancer and has been buried at the Mount of Olives Cemetery in Israel. When his body arrived in Israel it was met by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well as Jonathan Pollard, the most damaging spy in United States history. Tributes to the fallen “hero” poured in from the political class in both the United States and Israel and it has even been reported that President Donald Trump was intending to hoist the American flag at half mast over federal buildings to honor the “great humanitarian philanthropist.” Unfortunately, the flag was already at half mast honoring the death of Capitol Police Force officer Brian Sicknick, who was murdered in the Capitol building last Wednesday.

Trump has not mentioned the service unto death of Sicknick and the flag lowering itself was apparently a bit of an afterthought on behalf of the White House, but he had plenty to say about his good buddy Adelson, who has been the principal funder of the Republican Party over the past five years. As he can no longer use Twitter, the president’s condolences were posted on the White House site: “Melania and I mourn the passing of Sheldon Adelson, and send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Miriam, his children and grandchildren. Sheldon lived the true American dream. His ingenuity, genius, and creativity earned him immense wealth, but his character and philanthropic generosity his great name. Sheldon was also a staunch supporter of our great ally the State of Israel. He tirelessly advocated for the relocation of the United States embassy to Jerusalem, the recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and the pursuit of peace between Israel and its neighbors. Sheldon was true to his family, his country, and all those that knew him. The world has lost a great man. He will be missed.”

Missing from the Trump eulogy is any mention of what Adelson did for the United States, which is his country of birth and where he made his fortune engaging in activity that many would consider to be a vice. In fact, Adelson was all about the Jewish state, positioning himself as the principal funder of the Republican Party under Donald Trump and receiving in return as a quid pro quo the U.S. withdrawal from the Iran nuclear agreement (JCPOA), the move of the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, the recognition of Israeli annexation of the Syrian Golan Heights, and a virtual concession that the Jewish state could do whatever it wants vis-ŕ-vis the Palestinians, to include expelling them from Palestine. Adelson once commented that Israel does not have to pretend to be a democracy but it must be Jewish, presumably to help the process of Arab genocide move along.

JNF plans to expand into West Bank settlements draws widespread condemnation

Liberal Zionist criticisms of the JNF’s new plans fail to address the colonial history of the organization, which is rooted at its core in the dispossession of the Palestinian people.

BY YUMNA PATEL FEBRUARY 18, 2021

The Jewish National Fund (JNF) is moving forward with a new policy allowing the organization to purchase privately-owned Palestinian land deep in the occupied West Bank.

The executive board of the organization, which works to promote Jewish control of land in historic Palestine, voted 6-5 on Sunday to start officially purchasing land in the West Bank to expand Israeli settlements.
(...)
As recently as 2019, Israeli authorities demolished a Palestinian family home and restaurant on the outskirts of Bethlehem in order to make way for a new settler outpost, following pressure from the JNF.
