The number of migrants in the UK has increased three-fold in the last 10 years

In Boston, Lincolnshire, immigrant numbers are up 389 per cent and foreigners now account for 15 per cent of the residents – up from just three per cent a decade ago.

In Merthyr Tydfil, the proportion of migrants rose from 1.4 per cent to 4.5 per cent.

Hull, Wrexham and Aberdeen all saw the proportion of migrants in their populations more than double.

The figures were compiled using census figures by Oxford University’s Migration Observatory.

It also found that the share of foreign-born people in the UK’s total population increased by more than 50 per cent between 1993 and 2013, making the population now 12.5 per cent foreign-born.

More than twice as many EU migrants are claiming unemployment benefits in Britain than the number of Britons claiming unemployment benefits elsewhere, figures from 23 EU nations show.

Almost 65,000 EU nationals are getting Jobseeker’s Allowance in the UK, among them 14,880 Poles.

Just two unemployed Britons are living on welfare in Poland.

Post British right-wing paper offers 1 boat tickets to France for readers, activists use it as stunt to help smuggle illegal immigrants into the country.

Your average Daily Mail reader might take advantage of the newspaper's £1 ferry offer to load up on bargain French wine, tour the battlefields or visit the charming Bologne-sur-Mer.

But one group of activists have decided to use them for a better cause, to help the freezing migrants huddled in Calais homeless camps - sponsored by the Mail's generosity, and prompted by the paper's negative attitude toward immigration.

A migrant holds up hot food received in Calais

The initiative was begun by the editorial team at the anarchist magazine Strike! in a Facebook post entitled: "How to help your fellow human beings at the Calais migrant camps... at the Daily Mail's expense! This is probably the best thing you could do this weekend/ever".

David Charles and fellow journalist Beth Granville have made the trip to France this weekend, and Charles told HuffPost it was Granville's grandmother who had originally spotted the deal in the paper.

Post by Strike! magazine.

Activists have been pictured with trolley-loads full of winter clothes, games and blankets to help the Calais Migrant Solidary campaign. And, the post points out, campaigners can reward themselves with the Mail's offer of a free bottle of wine on the way back to Dover.

A group of activists made the most of a Daily Mail discount ferry deal to take supplies and blankets to migrants in Calais...*chuckle*

— Anna Dixie (@annafelixdixie) January 31, 2015

Charles, one of the campaigning journalists involved with the stunt, wrote an open letter to the newspaper on his blog, entitled "A thousand thanks for your tireless support for the much-abused Calais migrants! (Or, as they’re also known, “Fellow Human Beings”.)"

"Some freeloading scroungers might have cynically used your festive promotional offer with P&O Ferries to go over and stock up on cheap continental booze and fags," he wrote. "But we know you meant to launch a D-Day-style flotilla of solidarity with Fellow Human Beings who have fled the blood and torture and killing and more blood and bombs (paid for by the British taxpayer!) in the hope of joining us in El Dorado where you can’t even have a fag indoors any more.

"Your courageous humanitarian stance should be saluted – but instead you’re constantly pilloried by the loony left as 'anti-immigration', 'anti-welfare' and 'anti-freeze'. Everyone should clearly understand your newspaper is cover-to-cover political satire!"

Camps close to the border are often in terrible conditions

There are between 2,000 to 3,000 people living in the makeshift camps in the French port hoping to catch a ride in a lorry or truck into Britain. The British border is protected by six-metre-high triple-layer chain-link fences topped with razor wire and patrolled by sniffer dogs, and armed guards with electronic heartbeat detectors.

More than a dozen, including young women and teenagers, have died over the past year attempting to reach Britain,

Last month, the European director of the UN’s refugee agency warned more people will die in the refugee camps in the freezing temperatures.

“The conditions are totally unacceptable and are not consistent with the kind of values that a democratic society should have,” Vincent Cochetel told the Guardian. “This is a shameful situation to witness in the heart of the Europe Union.”

Post New Waves of (Gypsy) Migrants Could Hit Britain's Shores

Britain may need to brace itself against a new wave of migration as Germany is set to allow Bulgaria and Romania to join the passport-free Schengen area, the Express reports.

The move essentially moves the border of the EU to the two countries which border Moldova, Ukraine and Turkey since once anyone crosses their frontiers, it is a passport free zone until Calais in the North of the continent.

Experience shows that countries who are on the border and who do not receive assistance in dealing with increased demands on their border police have a high incentive to allow migrants into the country, knowing it will just be used as a passage through to the real destination of richer member states, including the UK.

Some countries have in the past handed out passports to those wanting to come through, saying it reduces the burden of cost which being a border EU country brings. Hungary simplified its requirements, demanding only a basic knowledge of the language and a direct Hungarian ancestor to get a passport. The vast majority of passports handed out in 2012, according to Eurostat, were Romanian, followed by Ukrainians, Serbians and Slovakians. But those figures do not include those made outside of Hungary. but 500,000 people have applied for its citizenship worldwide since the new laws came into place.

Ukip MEP Gerard Batten condemned the decision saying “the only people who will really benefit from it are those who are not able to cross the EU legally.”

“This seems an extraordinary thing for the Germans to do considering Romanians and Bulgarians can travel freely through Europe already.

“It shows how committed the Germans are to a fully integrated borderless state and a United States of Europe.”

The Schengen agreement has already been signed by 26 countries, 22 of them members of the EU. Other participants have voiced concerns about the two poorest EU countries being allowed to join, with Holland insisting they must tighten their borders and cut corruption.

And France, whose Northern coast is already a waiting area for migrants trying to illegally cross the channel to the UK, fears the move could result in the City being deluged with yet more unwanted migrants.

With the current problem of illegal migration no where near resolved, many are wondering why this move should be proposed now. Over 50,000 illegal immigrants have come across the Turkish – Greek border r and criminal gangs from Russia, Turkey and Asia are known to use Romania as a hub for their people trafficking and smuggling.

German foreign minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, said: “We are ready to begin the discussion process.

“The security situation has changed but we are going to continue working hard so non-Schengen countries can meet membership requirements.”

Beaten up?

The clip shows ZOG's economic immigrants climbing out, pushed away from the lorry and one of them was kicked a bit.

Bit of a stretch to call it "beaten up".

Post Calais migrant camps to be bulldozed

Up to 2,000 migrants have been living in Calais shanty towns for months

Authorities have opened new shelter and are moving to bulldoze camps

It is believed that officials will move on temporary shelters next Tuesday

| Updated: 01:13 EST, 26 March 2015

Calais officials are poised to start bulldozing the illegal migrant camps that have marred the town for more than a decade.

Yesterday it emerged that the Prefect of Calais has issued an ultimatum to migrants telling them to remove their belongings and evacuate by the end of the month or be forcibly ejected by riot police.

It comes as the Mayor of the port town opened the first purpose built accommodation for migrants since the closure of the notorious Sangatte centre in 2002.

Yesterday around 50 women and children became the first residents of the purpose-built Jules Ferry Centre with plans to accommodate up to 20 more.

Men will not be allowed to sleep there but will be allowed access during the day to make use of the showers and cooking facilities.

It is believed the French authorities plan to raze the illegal shanty town which has grown up around the town’s ferry port next Tuesday.

The land is owned by a chemical company Tioxide who succeeded in securing an eviction notice on the migrants last summer.

But since then the police have failed to move them on and the area has become blighted by rubbish and roughly improvised shelters causing fury among local French residents.

It is estimated that there are around 2,000 men, women and children sleeping rough in the town hoping to cross the channel into the UK.

Once cleared from their existing camps the migrants will be moved to an area of wasteland alongside the Jules Ferry site.

The town mayor Natacha Bouchart hopes the measure will help the authorities to gain control over the town’s chaotic migrant population and limit the influence of the people smugglers who exploit the desperation of those living in the filthy camps.

But yesterday critics feared the move would only exacerbate the problem with charity workers predicting it would take the women given beds an average of three months to sneak into the UK.

Gonzague Van Isacker from the charity Solid’R said: ‘The length of stay at this centre is expected to vary a lot.

‘Perhaps an average of three months for women without children before they manage to get to England.’

Jules Ferry, which has been converted from a former children’s holiday camp, will offer beds, food and hot showers to women and children on the basis that they are too ‘vulnerable’ to be sleeping rough.

Set in beautiful dune land next to massive WW2 German bunkers and beaches which afford stunning views of the Channel and the white cliffs of Dover, the centre is half an hour’s walk from the ferry terminal.

In addition to the Jules Ferry centre another ‘day’ shelter was also opened yesterday.

This will offer migrants showers and mobile phone chargers as well as serving 4,000 meals a day.

But the British government has long argued that such measures will only increase the numbers of displaced people congregating in the area with the aim of getting onto lorries crossing to Dover.

During the six years that Sangatte was open, it acted as stepping stone to Britain for an estimated 18,000 illegal immigrants and remains a source of bad feeling between Britain and France.

Conservative MP Michael Ellis, who sits on the Home Affairs Committee, told MailOnline: ‘The French need to tackle illegal immigration themselves and not set up a camp convenient for for going to England.

‘The French signed up to open borders and now they are failing to properly deal with the consequences.

‘There is a danger that this camp will turn into a new Sangatte, with all the problems that entailed.’

Earlier this week Mayor Bouchart, 52, herself the daughter of eastern European migrants who settled in France, used a speech to European council to blame Britain for the lawlessness in Calais.

Speaking on Tuesday she said her town was ‘suffering the consequences of the custodial role Britain has imposed on us to guard its frontier on our territory.’

Relations between the neighbouring countries have steadily deteriorated over the last year over the problem of Calais.

Last summer mass brawls between rival gangs left more than 70 people injured and has forced the French riot police to maintain an almost constant presence to keep the peace.

In October Home Secretary Theresa May was forced to pledge £12million to tighten security in Calais after 250 immigrants stormed the ferry terminal hoping to make it across the Channel.

But last night regional Prefect Denis Robin denied this insisting the new shelters are ‘humanitarian gestures.’

He said: ‘Neither of these centres are in any way new Sangatte-type hostels in Calais.’

Post Calais mayor blames UK's approach to Europe for migrants gathering in town | World news

Britain’s half-hearted approach to Europe has been blamed by the mayor of Calais for the thousands of migrants who gather in the town trying to cross the Channel.

Natacha Bouchart has claimed that Britain refuses to take any responsibility for the problems caused by migrants in the French Channel port.

“A country cannot remain both in and out of Europe, creating problems but providing no compensation and no support to local authorities such as mine and others, which are left alone to assume huge responsibilities,” she said in an interview with the Council of Europe’s Journal published on Monday.

“The city of Calais has to deal with the problems caused by an EU country that has not adopted the EU rules contained in the Schengen agreement,” said the mayor in a fresh attack on Britain’s lack of response.

“The UK is not really interested since border controls take place on French soil. It provides no support to the city of Calais, nor to the local population, and it leaves the mayor of Calais to manage the problem without financial assistance. It’s truly an enormous responsibility and hugely difficult for me personally as mayor of a town of 75,000 inhabitants,” she added.

The first new permanent accommodation building for migrants since the closure of the Sangatte Red Cross camp in 2002 opened last week. It caters only for women and children. Officials warned the migrant residents of the makeshift camps that have existed in the Channel port for the past decade that they should leave or face eviction by riot police.

A Guardian investigation reveals growing numbers of young families inside the migrant camps and lorry-parks of Calais

The number of migrants trying to cross to Britain from Calais rose last year from 500 to 3,000 but the numbers are believed to have halved over recent weeks.

Bouchart said that they didn’t want to claim asylum in France but get to the UK because there were better conditions for them than anywhere else in Europe: “There are no ID cards. They can easily find work outside the formal economy, which is not really controlled. They can get social welfare support that doesn’t exist in other countries,” she said. Most are currently refused entry at the UK border, which has been moved from Dover to Calais, leaving them in the port to try their luck to enter illegally.

The Calais mayor said, with as many as 3,000 migrants gathered in the port, she was unable to handle the situation. There were minor conflicts and tensions, houses were squatted and they were unable to provide eating and shower facilities.

“I had to remind the British government of its responsibility, too, which has a tendency to often despise the local population, to disregard elected officials, and frankly will take no part of the responsibility. We are suffering the consequences of the British government’s actions, which takes from Europe the things that suit it but doesn’t want to get fully involved in the European project.”

She said the £12m that the UK government had made available had gone on security and building bigger fences at Calais rather than repairing the damage to the port’s tarnished image or the resulting economic damage that had been done.

Bouchart said that the problem of migratory populations across Europe could not be ignored any longer and it was time to insist that all EU countries, including Britain, signed up to the Schengen accords.

“Each European country must be obliged to participate in a new mechanism. There must be restrictions, quotas that are revised every two to three years, according to world events, because that’s key. Each country will have to create reception centres to provide humanitarian assistance to migrants – something that doesn’t yet exist,” she said adding that countries that won’t take any responsibility need to face some kind of sanctions.

Post PETER HITCHENS: Another wave of migrants is on its way (but don't you dare mention it)

Published: 18:04 EST, 18 April 2015 |

Funny how little we have heard from British liberals about a rather nasty outbreak of anti-immigrant violence this week.

Black South Africans burst on to the streets of Durban and Johannesburg, savagely attacking and threatening black immigrants from other parts of Africa.

Whatever this is, it isn't ‘racist’. The assailants and victims alike are almost all black Africans. The fact that it is happening in a country liberals pretend is a rainbow paradise (when it isn't) is also hard for them to handle.

The sad truth is that mass migration, whatever the colour of the skins of those involved, upsets and worries indigenous people, especially the poorest. If it is not controlled – and South Africa has utterly failed to control it for many years – it can lead to serious social conflict.

And if you think this doesn't affect us, you are worryingly wrong. For Africa is exploding north and south, as war and famine uproot its unhappy millions.

David Cameron’s irresponsible and ignorant intervention in Libya (which alone should be enough to ensure he never holds responsible office again) is now causing one of the greatest human upheavals of modern times.

A wave of human misery is now heading to Europe – and eventually to Britain – from the fiery chaos of post-Cameron Libya.

In one week, at least 10,000 migrants have been ferried to Italy by greedy criminal traffickers.

These calculating monsters put only enough fuel in the tanks of their boats to get them halfway across. Then they call the Italian coastguard to tell them to pick up the drifting victims before they drown or die of exposure.

And of course civilised Europe does pick them up. What choice do we have? It goes against centuries of Christianity to leave them (as the ruthless traffickers happily do) to their fate, and hope that this will discourage them.

And how can we send them back to the failed and lawless state which has already driven them out after robbing them? So it will not be long before they arrive at Calais and join the queue to be smuggled into Britain.

I can see no obvious solution to this. It reminds me of the great illegal migration of Latin Americans that utterly transformed the USA in the 1990s, and continues to do so.

Should we have listened more carefully to Colonel Gaddafi, whom we drove from power and left to be murdered in a ditch? By assisting in his overthrow, have we replaced the terrible with the horrible?

Back in August 2010, the Libyan despot went to Rome and made a blackmailing offer which many Italian politicians must now be wishing they had accepted.

Gaddafi said: ‘Italy needs to convince her European allies to accept this Libyan proposal – €5 billion [then about £4 billion] to Libya to stop illegal immigration. ‘Europe runs the risk of turning black from illegal immigration, it could turn into Africa. We need support from the European Union to stop this army trying to get across from Libya, which is their entry point

Post France tells illegals planning to illegally enter the UK to 'forget UK and stay here'

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve meets migrants in Calais on Monday. Photo: AFP

Cazeneuve visited Calais on Monday to check out the conditions that the migrants were living in and to visit a new welcome centre that has opened.

French authorities have been under pressure to tackle a crisis that has seen hundreds migrants set up temporary camps around the port city, from where they hope to make it across the Channel to the UK.

But the conditions for the migrants, most of whom are fleeing war and repression in Sudan, Ethiopia and Eritrea appears to be worsening with police forcing them to relocate to a new camp on the edge of town, described by one humanitarian organisation as “the worst in Europe”.

Despite the poor conditions and the serious lack of lodging for those seeking asylum, Interior Minister Cazeneuve told migrants France was the best hope for many of them.

READ ALSO: New Calais migrant camp 'the worst in Europe'

"We must make them understand clearly that asylum in France offers the best change for them,” said Cazeneuve, adding that those who don’t lodge an application will be taken back to the borders of France.

The minister said word is getting through to the migrants in Calais with 455 applications for asylum having been lodged since the start of the year.

But that’s still a small amount compared to the number of migrants who have amassed in Calais in recent months.

Migrants spoke of their fears of being sent back to Italy or Romania – the countries where most of them entered the EU – if they apply for asylum in France and their applications are turned down.

“I want to go to Great Britain, there are no jobs here,” said Mohamed, who is living in the new camp outside Calais known as the “Jungle Two”, which humanitarian associations say is nothing more than a “slum”.

Cazeneuve rejected that term and also insisted that the behaviour of police towards migrants “must be exemplary”.

Meanwhile in Paris, around 500 migrants have set up makeshift shelters at two locations in the heart of the city. When The Local visited last week, many said they weren't keen on staying in Paris and had their sites set on the UK and Norway.

Post Immigration nation: where are Britain's migrants coming from, and why?

"If you have uncontrolled immigration," David Cameron warned on Thursday, "you have uncontrolled pressure on public services". Last year, 641,000 people came to Britain, 318,000 more than the number who left.

Recent official figures indicate that Mr Cameron is further away from getting net migration into the tens of thousands - as per his "no ifs, no buts" pledge - than at any time since he entered Number 10.

Gillian Duffy, the member of the public who infamously ambushed Gordon Brown, personified the public's concern about immigration in 2010 when she asked him "where are they flocking from?". Our map above, using the ONS' most recent data, shows the 15 most common "last countries of residences" for migrants coming to Britain in 2013.

China is the most popular country of origin, with 46,000 arriving in Britain in 2013. The second most popular "last country of residence" is Spain, with 33,000 of its denizens arriving in Britain that year, and a similar amount from India.

Around 29,000 came from Australia, 27,000 from Poland, 22,000 from France and 20,000 from the USA. Malaysia and Portugal are the 14th and 15th most popular countries of origin, with 9,000 and 8,000 migrants from each respectively.

So what drew them to Britain? Three-quarters of immigrants to the UK are people migrating to work or study, the Office for National Statistics said in its study of long-term international immigration.

According to the ONS, most British expats are coming back to Blighty for work-related reasons, with 46,000 doing so last year. The next most common reason is "going home to live" - with 14,000 returning home for that, followed by 11,000 coming back to accompany or join relatives, and 5,000 British

More meaningless statistical mumbo jumbo. As long as nationality is a piece of paper and not racial origin the nationality of an immigrant is irrelevant. The UK needs robust Aryans regardless of their nationality or their purpose for coming to the UK.

Post Migrants living in makeshift camps in Paris as they bid to reach Britain cry that France is too noisy, smells of urine and that 'even in Africa' they didn't have to sleep outdoors

Migrants living in makeshift camp in Paris complain about the city's smell

They also say it is too noisy and that 'even in Africa' they slept indoors

Others said they were better clothed and fed while they were in Italy

The migrants are using the city as a staging base in a bid to reach Britain

France is facing a dilemma as it struggles to deal with huge migrant influx

Hundreds of migrants living in makeshift camps in Paris have complained that the French city is too loud, stinks of urine and that 'even in Africa' they did not have to sleep outdoors.

Making their way to Britain, they have created temporary homes in the shadow of the famed Sacre Coeur basilica, above a Eurostar track leading to London.

Despite their desperation to start what they hope is a better life, the migrants are scathing of their hosts - claiming the city is far too noisy and they were better fed, clothed and housed in Italy.

Authorities are now hoping to move on the migrants, who mostly originate from East Africa.

France has faced a dilemma in the burgeoning global flow of migrants fleeing war, poverty or persecution.

In a densely populated city, where large unoccupied spaces are rare, the football field-sized patch near Paris' La Chapelle metro station has seen various waves of migration over the years, including Kurds and Afghans.

In the last year, it's been migrants from Horn of Africa traveling via Sudan and Libya on an often-perilous journey to Europe.

The camp has swollen in the last several weeks: Authorities cite either the flow from a recent surge of crossings to Italy, or a retreat by those expelled by police from Calais, the French city on the English Channel seen by many migrants as a springboard into Britain.

Remi Feraud, who heads the 10th arrondissement, or district, of Paris, said authorities have quietly tried for months to find a better place for the migrants.

But after the recent swell, he and other local leaders want to step up the pace and are breaking their silence - hoping to press the government of President Francois Hollande, a fellow Socialist, into finding a solution.

Feraud said he regretted not going public earlier about the migrants' plight.

'Evacuating them without re-housing them gives way to a cat-and-mouse game,' he said in an interview at Paris city hall.

He said his constituents who live near the site are tolerant, but added: 'People aren't stupid. They know that if the camp is dismantled and there's no lodging, it will reconstitute in one form or another in the same neighborhood.'

The Interior Ministry is working to resolve the issue, and Paris police are taking a wait-and-see approach, officials said.

France Terre d'Asile, an advocacy group for asylum-seekers, has estimated about 340 migrants are at the camp, mainly from Eritrea, Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia - some packed three or four to a tent.

Group director-general Pierre Henry said about a third are eligible for asylum status, while the ot

Post UK-bound African migrants brawl in France

DAILYKENN.com -- Feuding gangs of African migrants brawled in France today leaving two dozen injured.

Black gangs from Eritrea and Sudan fought to gain the upper hand in boarding England-bound ferries. The Africans in Europe illegally hop aboard truck trailers awaiting to be transported across the English Channel.

News reports say the migrants attacked each other with knives, metal bars and wooden truncheons. The migrants live in illegal migrant camps in the port city of Calais, France.

Hordes of blacks flee their native cesspools to live on the dole in Europe. Britain is a preferred destination.

• Globalism prefers to manage the invasion of Europe rather than end it. The Marxist perspective seeks to remove the prosperity disparity between Western nations and Third-world nations by opening borders, allowing hordes to dilute European populations.

Globalists have managed to contain opposition by stigmatizing critics as racists, xenophobes, or Islamophobes. In most of Europe it is illegal to verbally note racial or ethnic differences.

• Sub-Saharan Africa remained in a perpetual state of paleolithic, grass-hut existence for tens of thousands of years. When David Livingstone trekked across the continent in the mid-19th century, he found people with limited vocabularies who had made no technological advancements in millennia.

Since then the lives of black Africans have been substantially enhanced by the introduction of Western technology via colonialism. As colonialism diminished in the 20th century, the continent began to revert to natural state compelling black Africans to seek enhanced lives in Europe, Australia, the United States and other Western regions.

Two dozen UK-bound migrants were seriously injured during a mass fight between rival African gangs in Calais today.

A brawl broke out just before midnight on Sunday as Eritreans and Sudanese fell out over the routes they use to get on to England-bound ferries.

It was still raging in the early hours, as knives, metal bars and wooden truncheons were used by the aggressors.

Two units of CRS riot police rushed to the scene, close to the Jules Ferry Centre, where a vast illegal camp stretches across sand dunes in the French port town.

'The fighting was extremely serious, with those involved suffering flesh wounds to the head, chest and legs,' said a police source.

'Dozens of people were involved in the initial fight, and then smaller ones broke out all over the area.'

Makeshift tents were set on fire during the fighting, leading to many of the migrants - including women and children - to flee in panic.

The source said that people smugglers who organise passages to Britain for cash were present when the brawl first started.

Around 15 people were treated for injuries at the scene, said the source, while some ten more were taken to nearby hospitals.

One lorry driver who uses the cross-channel routes said he is 'frightened for his life' by migrants, who he saw breaking into the truck in front of him with a crowbar.

Michael Pearson, a driver for the Yorkshire-based company, said: 'A group of maybe 20 or 30 people, crowbar in hand, broke the padlock off the truck in front, broke the security seal and opened the doors.

Mr Pearson added: 'It's only a matter of time before somebody is seriously injured, killed or windows are smashed and people are dragged out of their trucks. It's an unbelievable experience to go through.'

The firm's managing director, Vaughan Woolfitt, said the company would now be travelling through a Belgian port to avoid the immigrants at Calais.

Calais mayor Natasha Bouchart said the reason so many migrants wanted to jo

Jews say Europe needs to be populated by 3rd world migrants because white goys are too barbaric that causes too many fights and conflicts. WELL,SO DO NIGGERS! Just an excuse to commit racial genocide on whites.

PS- the Europeans wars was caused by Jews who held power. Otherwise, there wouldn't be two world wars, so therefore whites are not barbaric at all.... Jews caused shit, uses white men to fix their mess, than blames the white men for their actions.
