 A former cheerleading coach has been charged with molesting a member of his team. Yohel Gattaz, 21, was fired in May after just under a year leading the Desert Storm Elite squad in Scottdale, Arizona. Last week he was arrested and charged with one count of child molestation, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, and one count of aggravated assault on a minor. Desert Storm Elite is one of the state's leading cheer squads, with a roster of regional, national and world titles to its name. Husband charged with murder in wife's death
 June 27, 2016 MANSFIELD, Ohio – A mother of two was found dead in the garage of her Apple Lane home in Mansfield Sunday morning. The victim was identified as 36-year-old Amanda Preston. The Richland County Coroner’s Office confirmed her death was being investigated as a homicide. Girl, 17, killed by a stray bullet while hiding in a closet after a black 'fired 10 rounds into a crowded party after a fight broke out'
An 18-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a 17-year-old girl after he allegedly fired shots into a crowd at a party on Sunday night.
In addition to a first-degree murder charge, Quindarius Love, of Brownsville, Tennessee, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and felony reckless endangerment for the alleged act. The teen was arrested after Elia Hernandez, 17, was killed by one of the ten bullets Love allegedly fired. Love and Hernandez were both outside at a house party when a fight broke out. Hernandez hid inside the house as Love allegedly began firing into the crowd with a .40-caliber handgun. Haywood County Sheriff Melvin Bond told The Jackson Sun that while Hernandez was hiding, a shot punctured her abdomen. Hernandez died from her injuries and two others were wounded. Hernandez had just graduated high school and her friends said she had a bright future ahead of her. Missing Red Lion woman found dead in Maryland; Police charge boyfriend with first-degree murder
 Jun 28, 2016 BALTIMORE, Md. —A Red Lion, Pennsylvania woman who was recently reported missing has been found dead in Maryland. Police say Rebekah Strausbaugh, 30, traveled to Baltimore over the weekend. At some point, her boyfriend, 48-year-old Michael Morant went there to look for her. After he found her, an argument ensued that led to her death, according to police. A bus driver who was brutally assaulted over a 70 pence fair refused to go off duty and finished his route to ensure his passengers were not late.

Former employee in custody after Raising Cane’s manager stabbed to death in Kenner
 June 29, 2016 KENNER, La. (WGNO) - A former employee is in custody following the fatal stabbing of a Raising Cane's shift manager early Wednesday morning on Williams Boulevard in Kenner. The Jefferson Parish Coroner's office has identified the manager as 21-year-old Taylor Friloux. According to Kenner police, two men approached and demanded money from the victim and several employees who were throwing garbage away outside the Raising Cane's in the 3300 block of Williams Boulevard about 1:25 a.m. "He put it [knife] to the female employees neck and forced her back into the business where they forced her to open the safe," said Lt. Brian McGregor. After clearing out the contents of the safe, McGregor said one suspect stabbed Friloux multiple times as he was fleeing the back door of the restaurant and into a waiting vehicle. Friloux was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. She later died. Kenner police confirmed that one suspect is in custody. Employees identified him as 23-year-old Joshua Every. Godfrey asked the Allen Superior Court jury that question regarding 29-year-old Justin Littlejohn. Man facing murder charge during apparent armed robbery at apartment complex
 June 27, 2016 On Saturday, June 25, about 5:40 a.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to an in progress “Man Down” call at the Copper Lodge Apartments, located at 1000 Cypress Station Drive. When deputies arrived on the scene, they located the complainant, Robert Russo, a 64-year-old white male, shot to death on the first floor patio of his apartment. Sheriff’s Office Homicide Investigators responded to the scene. Evidence at the scene indicated that Russo was shot and killed while the suspect(s) were attempting to rob him. Independence Police are investigating an assault Sunday afternoon in which angry customers allegedly pulled a pregnant Wendy's worker through the drive-thru window and kicked and punched her. According to a police report, Tori Repine, 19, was working at Wendy's at 9022 E. U.S. 40 (just west of Blue Ridge Cut-off) shortly before 3 p.m. when the black female driver of a vehicle at the drive-thru window became angry, left her seat started to pull Repine through the window. A second black female then exited the passenger door and, with the driver, pulled Repine through the window, letting her fall straight on her front side. Repine, who is four months pregnant, said she was punched and kicked an unknown number of times in her face and stomach and could only try to protect her head and stomach. A witness said she tried to pull Repine back inside but was unable to do so. She also saw a third black female exit the vehicle and join in the assault. A fourth suspect, unknown if a male or female, also exited and assaulted Repine. The suspects ignored pleas that Repine was pregnant. Judge to rule whether to make 'Dateline' turn over murder suspect's interview
 Jul 01, 2016 KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - A Knoxville judge could try to force “Dateline NBC” to turn over an interview with the man accused of killing his estranged girlfriend and their unborn son. Criminal Court Judge Steve Sword heard arguments Thursday to have “Dateline” release a video interview with Norman Clark that has not yet been broadcast. Clark interviewed with the NBC show, accompanied by his former attorney, Greg Isaacs, right after his mistrial. Jurors came back hopelessly deadlocked 11-1 in favor of a “not guilty” verdict. The state is now seeking a retrial. Prosecutors want to see what Clark said on camera. While they do not know if it would help their case, there is a possibility the information could be used during the trial, said Assistant District Attorney General Sean McDermott.
