This was my grandfather in the war--he was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. I'm not glorifying it at all, but that's what he did.

This video makes me think of how our military forces could be used in a constructive way ( i. e. protecting our borders from invaders ) . .

Too bad our advanced military skills have been misused by the NWO to fight brothers' wars . .

Hey Coldfire,

Sorry to hear about your gramps.

My paternal grandfather died before he was one. Leukemia in 1960 was a death sentence.

My maternal grandpa died in 1978. He was WWI generation, but ended up stationed down in Georgia because he could play a flute. They needed him for a band. Good thing, as grandma's brother got mustard gassed. (My mum was a surprise baby when they were 40.)

Maternal grandma died in 1988. Paternal one in 2000. Both were around 90 years old.

Well , as you can probably calculate yourself ( since I said my grandpa was vintage 1924 in post 1 ) he died at the age of 94 ( his birthday this year preceded his death ) . .

Wow.

Quite an age . .

He was more or less traumatized all his life though . .

I can imagine why . .

WW2 was a horrible fratricidal war . .

The Ukraine was of larger imporatance than many think during World War 2 . .

In fact I'd even go so far as to say that , hadn't Hitler put an emphasis on Ukraine and moved his troops there , he might have gotten Moscow fast ( by "getting Moscow fast" I of course mean the leadership back then . .

My uncles were in WWII on mum's side. One was a cook on a ship so I assume it was against the Japs. Cruel race.

Yes , the Japs are also , pretty much like the Germans , always blamed for having had the objective of 'ruling the world' in WW2 . .

Which I don't think is true . .

The dislike for them because of WW2 seems to run so deep that even within our movement some blame them . .
