21:50 - In 1644 four elder monks settled here in the forest. Ten years later they sent a request to the tsar to allow them to build a church here. It is believed that the village was founded in 1658. He was one of Razin's close friends.
In the 19th century, 300 meters from the village in the forest, settled robber Savva. He robbed carts on the roads, barges on the river Vetluga and attacked the manors of the landlords.
After a while people left this place.
However, in the early 30s of the 20th century, people began to come here again. In Soviet times there was a collective farm in the village. It had electricity, radio, tractors in the fields. In 1987, the village was left by its last resident.

Of course, there are mountains and the mountain climbing teams in Russia. The biggest thing you can count on is 5.642 meters above sea level. It is Mount Elbrus in the Caucasus.

I think you had in mind other countries of the world and not Russia.
But the factor of flying stinging insects must be considered when you going on a trip to the taiga.

"Back country" means remote wilderness or other uninhabited area. The Australian term "Outback" means the same.

I have never been to Alaska, but the taiga there is similar to Russia/Siberia's, same latitude and all. I have been told by other people that mosquitoes in those places are the size of helicopters, so wear appropriate insect protection.

Good idea bratooshka. Russian swamps are waiting for you too.
The average intelligence level of humanity would be higher without this forum and its admin alive.

Strange
Don't you have money in beloved Putin's Russia enough to travel from the region?
Or like a typical arrogant moscowite you don't care how we Russians actually live?

I conclude that in your life everything is fine because you loudly croak from "Russian swamps". People who have a very bad life usually do not have time for this. They are constantly trying to improve the circumstances of their lives.

Indeed, I have little money, they are not even enough to buy a palace or a castle.
Therefore, if you are in doubt whether to send me your millions of money or not to send them, I can assure you that you can courageously send them to me.
And do it as often as possible because I like a beautiful life
Maybe, even I will go to the nearest region after I receive the first million of money sent by you.
