Default Opinions on Techno music ?

How do you view it ?

I know I have expressed myself critically in my "critical look at music and the NWO" thread about this specific music , yet , apart from the role hallucinogenic drugs may play in this music often , where do you stand on the music itself ?

You may know that there have already been attempts at creating NS Techno ( DJ Adolf etc . .)

But . . like I said . . the music ?

On a side note . .even if our scene should work with techno I'm sure we wouldn't indulge in degenerate "parades" like "Loveparade" etc . .

So . . How do you view Techno as such ?

And . . concerning our movement ?

Gigi D'Agostino , one of the most prominent Techno discjockeys in the world . .

( his videos are quite simplistic though . .)

On a personal note , I always did prefer the "original" version of this song by Nik Kershaw though.

I enjoy listening to songs of this genre that were popular during my youth

I love Swedish dance/trance music from the late 1990s.

P.S. The song that Alex Him posted (Don't You Want Me by Felix) is also great. I used to listen to it when I was a teenager.

Here are a couple of remixes of the Mortal Kombat theme song – although the original version remains unsurpassed:

Since were talking about Jean-Michel Jarre, I might as well mention that the melody in Richi Ms excellent Lovely Lily (which I posted on the first page of this thread) was taken from Jarres Oxygne Part II.

Heres Oxygne Part II (fast forward to 2:03):

And heres Lovely Lily:

Our new lurkers can listen to more Richi M songs in the following posts:

I think it's disgraceful that talented trance music artists/groups like Richi M, Earthbound and Antiloop are almost unknown outside of Sweden while talentless bums like Gigi D'Agostino, DJ Tisto, (the deceased) Avicii and Swedish House Mafia are showered with money and fame that they clearly don't deserve.

(The half-French, half-jewish David Guetta is somewhere in the middle. He does have some talent, and a couple of his songs are fairly good, like Love Don't Let Me Go, but he's still pretty overrated, in my opinion.)
