(quote)

"Earlier, in court documents, Papcun concluded that to "a reasonable degree of scientific probability" the "tapes do not represent a true and valid representation of reality and they are unreliable."

(unquote)

After hearing that statement from a court certified expert that the tapes are unreliable, how the hell could any honest juror give the tapes any credibility ???

The judge was well aware of this expected expert testimony, therefore he knew that it's enormous value to the defense amounted to a likely not guilty verdict.

Prosecutor lays out case against Steele

Though Edgar Steele's fingerprints are not on pipe bomb that was trapped under his wife's car, Assistant U.S. Attorney Marc Haws told jurors in his closing argument that the 65-year-old North Idaho lawyer's “legal fingerprints” are all over it.

Haws played portions of the recordings in which Steele discusses the plot to kill Cyndi Steele with his handyman, Larry Fairfax, whom he'd promised money to murder his wife and mother-in-law. He said jurors are to be more skeptical of Fairfax's testimony because of his involvement in the case, but that everything Fairfax has said is supported by other evidence.

In one of the recorded meetings with Steele, Fairfax is given $400 to pay for his travels to Portland. The FBI seized that money from after the meeting and knows he didn't have him on him before he met with him. “This is corroboration,” Haws said. “This says Mr. Fairfax was telling you the truth.”

Haws read several quotes from the recording inn which Steele urges Fairfax to “get this job done” and mentions the possible car insurance payment as a “powerful incentive.”

Haws also played a portion fo the phone call Steele made to his wife after his arrest. He reminded jurors of Steele's reaction when police falsely told him his wife was dead. police described Steele's reaction as flat and forced until they told him he was under arrest for murder for hire and a fecal odor filled the air.
“I would submit that his body reacted and told more truth than his mouth did,” Haws said.

Defense lawyers have suggested the recordings of Steele and Fairfax were altered or manufactured, but Haws said there's no proof of that. Steele would like jurors to think that a “Mission Impossible plot” has been created by the government, Haws said, but “the recordings themselves tell you they are accurate” from the flow and syntax to the present of outside noises that carry through statements.

Haws said the thought that Fairfax could have “the sophistication and the tools” to put together a recording in the 30 minutes he was to visit with Steele is wrong. “That can't happen,” he said. Haws said the defense never gave a motive for why Fairfax would have really been the one to want to kill Cyndi Steele.

Haws said Edgar Steele wanted to start a relationship with a 25-year-old Ukrainian woman. Defense has said the communication was research into what Steele belied was scam involving Russian mail order bridges, but Haws said they've never mentioned a special case number or book that Steele is pursuing. “The evidence here is overwhelming, it's way beyond a reasonable doubt as to what this man intended,” Haws said.

Jury deliberates in Idaho murder for hire case
REBECCA BOONE, Associated Press Writer
Published 05:40 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A jury has begun the work of deciding if a northern Idaho attorney is guilty of hiring a hitman to kill his wife and mother-in-law.
Edgar J. Steele has represented unpopular clients in the past, including the white supremacist group the Aryan Nations. His supporters maintain he's been framed by the government, partly because he represented the group.

But federal prosecutors say Steele hired a man named Larry Fairfax to kill his wife, Cyndi Steele, and her mother-in-law because he wanted insurance money and he wanted to be free to pursue another woman. Fairfax told federal investigators about the alleged plot and testified against Edgar Steele in Boise's U.S. District Court.

If convicted of all charges, Steele faces more than 30 years in prison. Jury deliberations began Wednesday afternoon.

Steele’s defense points to Fairfax set up

There's no doubt that the federal government has evidence in its case against Edgar Steele, his lawyer says, but all that evidence points back to Larry Fairfax, who claims to have been hired by Steele to kill his wife and mother-in-law. The pipe bomb strapped to Cyndi Steele's SUV was Fairfax's “act of defiance,” Robert McAllister said, referring to a book Fairfax has said he wants write.

He reminded jurors that Cyndi Steele said there were problems with the recordings in which her husband discussed the plot to kill her with Fairfax, such as unexplained breaks and syntax issues. “There is one conclusion about those recordings: they are nothing but tar,” McAllister said. “…It's fantasy talk; it's fiction; it's Larry Fairfax talking and trying to set up Edgar Steele.” “Unfortunately in real life, this is more than just trying to write a book, it's putting people's lives in danger,” McAlliser said

He emphasized that Fairfax admits to attaching a pipe bomb to Cyndi Steele's SUV but didn't tell the FBI about it when he told them he could set up Edgar Steele. “No one knows that until June 15, when it's found,” he said.

McAllister said Steele had no reason to want his wife dead. Claims by the prosecution that Steele was in love with a woman he met on the Internet are wrong - the communication was part of Steele's examination of the Russian bride scam. “The whole Russian bride scam was a case, something to work on. It was something his family laughed about, because it was so fake,” McAllister said. “It's fantasy… it's not a motive to commit murder. it's not a reason to commit murder.”

He said the Steeles talked regularly on the phone, including a 43-minutes conversation the day before prosecutors say Cyndi was to be killed. He also reminded jurors that Edgar Steele recently paid $2,779 to save his mother-in-law's home. “If there's really a plot or a plan, to you go take that kind of money and give it to someone else, who you're supposedly going to kill?” McAllister said. “The evidence in this case is that he loves Cyndi Steele, that he spent 25 years - now 26 - married to her with three children,” McAlliser said.

He said the couple did have problems 10 years ago, but “the evidence in the next 10 years is that they raised their family” lived in North Idaho and were happy. “Never did Edgar Steele show anything besides love for his family,” McAlliser said. He pointed to the longtime friends who told jurors how shocked they were by the allegations.

He said the phone call Steele made to his wife from the jail doesn't qualify as victim tampering. Cyndi Steele has said she wasn't influenced by the call, and Edgar Steele didn't know of the specifics of the recordings when he called Cyndi Steele. “Yes she doesn't believe that her husband is trying harm her, but she doesn't know about what Mr. Fairfax or what (his cousin) Mr. (James) Maher might want to do to her,” McAllister said. “All she knows is a bomb was found under her car.” “I'm sure the government will say 'she's in denial, she's wrong,' but the fact is this is the victim…coming before a jury and saying 'I don't believe it.'”

Jury in Steele case asks to deliberate late

Eleven women and one man are now deliberating in the murder-for-hire trial of Edgar J. Steele in U.S. District Court in Boise. Deliberations began about 2:45 p.m. The jury has asked hear the recordings and tapes played at trial, and has told Judge B. Lynn Winmill they'd like to deliberate until 8 p.m. or so.

Steele, 65, faces at least 30 years in prison if convicted of his most serous charge - possession of a destructive device in relation to a crime of violence.

Steele also is charged with use of interstate commerce to commission murder for hire, use of explosive material to commit a federal felony and tampering with a victim.

Steele's supporters say he has been framed by the government to silence him for his views and legal work. Steele calls himself “the attorney for the damned” and defended the Aryan Nations against the lawsuit that bankrupted the racist group in 2000. Steele also wrote a book called Defensive Racism.

His wife and alleged victim, Cyndi Steele, believes he is innocent.

He can be thankful today isn't Friday. The jury might actually deliberate and not do whatever it takes to get home for the weekend.

Angry More on Fairfax's Book

It looks like Fairfax is also crazy as a shit house rat. He wanted a picture in his book of his logging truck running over an Aryan Nations member. If Steele is acquitted, Fairfax will rot in jail for decades. The government will be even less happy with him.

Fairfax to call book ‘An Act of Defiance’

Larry Fairfax, the main witness in the Edgar Steele murder-for-hire trial, plans to write a book based on the case called “An Act of Defiance: Built on Lies and Deceit by the FBI.” Daryl Hollingsworth, who met Fairfax and Steele in the Bonner County Jail, testified this morrning that he was asked by Fairfax to design the cover and include a “picture of Larry Fairfax's logging truck running over an Aryan Nations member.” Steele was a lawyer for the Aryan Nations in a 2000 lawsuit that bankrupted the racist group.

Holllingsworth said he also was asked to include a picture of an FBI agent stabbing Fairfax in the back. Fairfax told defense lawyer Robert McAllister the “defiant act” referred to in the title as him “going against Edgar Steele and turning him in.” In his notes, Fairfax said he plans to call the book fiction.

Fairfax writes about how he became a victim in the case and that the FBI and U.S. Attorney's Office “screwed me over” by charging him with two federal firearms felonies related to the device. McAllister asked Fairfax if he designed the book so that he would be the hero, but Fairfax said that wasn't the case.
“You actually describe yourself as the victim,” McAllister said. “You make statements about how you should not be in jail, and you make statements about how you're gong to save the life of Cyndi Steele.” Fairfax agreed.

McAllister pointed out that Fairfax told the FBI of the device only after it was discovered, and that he “never made any effort to take it off” Cyndi Steele's car. Fairfax also described in the notes how the explosive device “never would have worked.” He also writes that him being in jail is a “waste of an innocent life.”

Court is on a break. It's not yet known if Edgar Steele will testify. Cyndi Steele met with him and was extremely emotional afterward. Steele's supporters held a prayer circle before returning to the courtroom.

Smile Jury Goes Home Without Verdict

The nearly $3,000 that Steele gave to his mother in law to save her house from foreclosure is the best evidence of his innocence in this otherwise damning case. Where this cash came from has not been explained.

Where the cash went from Steele selling off silver has not been explained either. Exactly what Fairfax was paid and in what form the payment was is not clear. Exactly what silver that Fairfax supposedly stole has also not been explained .

It looks like a hung jury coming up to me. The jury originally planned to deliberate until 20:00 and quit early.

Jury goes home in Steele murder-for-hire case
Meghann M. Cuniff The Spokesman-Review

BOISE - A jury of 11 women and one man has begun deliberations in the case of a North Idaho lawyer accused of hiring a man to kill his wife and mother-in-law. Jurors are about to leave U.S. District Court in Boise, where Edgar J. Steele’s trial began a week ago.

While Steele’s lawyer, Robert McAllister questioned the reliability of FBI recordings and said the plot was really the work of the prosecution’s key witness, Larry Fairfax, Assistant U.S. Attorney Marc Haws told jurors in his closing argument today that the case is “simple.” Though Steele’s fingerprints are not on the pipe bomb that was strapped under his wife’s car, Haws told jurors in his closing argument that his “legal fingerprints” are all over it.

Haws played portions of the recordings in which Steele discusses the plot to kill Cyndi Steele with Fairfax, a handyman whom he’d promised money to murder his wife and mother-in-law. The FBI seized that money from after the meeting and knows he didn’t have anything on him before he met with Steele. “This is corroboration,” Haws said. “This says Mr. Fairfax was telling you the truth.”

But McAllister said all evidence in the case points not to his client but to Fairfax, who claims to have been hired by Steele to kill his wife and mother-in-law. The pipe bomb strapped to Cyndi Steele’s SUV was Fairfax’s “act of defiance,” McAllister said, referring to a book Fairfax has said he wants to write.

Angry More on Closing Arguments

I am going to stick my neck out and predict a hung jury. Some of the 11 women on the jury are going to believe in Cyndi who supports her husband. It did look horribly bad when Steele failed to take the stand. The Five Words don't apply to a full blooded lawyer. Fairfax is such a scumbag that no one can have any sympathy for him. This is especially true with his plans to appear on the Oprah show and write a book. He is a liar and a thief by ANY stretch of the imagination . He even makes a lawyer look good.

Steele case goes to jury
Deliberations will resume this morning

Posted: Thursday, May 5, 2011 12:00 am | Updated: 1:25 am, Thu May 5, 2011.
By DAVID COLE/Staff writer | 0 comments

BOISE - A jury Wednesday afternoon in federal court in Boise began its deliberations in the murder-for-hire trial of North Idaho attorney Edgar J. Steele. The jury's review of the case lasted until 7 p.m. before jurors called it a day. They resume this morning.

In closing arguments, defense attorney Robert McAllister re-directed the allegations and the jury's attention from his client to Steele's handyman, and the alleged hitman in the case, 50-year-old Sagle resident Larry Fairfax.
McAllister said Fairfax made a massive pipe bomb that he fastened under Cyndi Steele's vehicle, and then lied to the FBI.

"Every piece of evidence in this case comes back to Larry Fairfax," McAllister said. "The evidence in this case is that (Edgar Steele) loves Cyndi Steele," his wife of 26 years. He said Fairfax's story makes no sense. He asked, "Why would Edgar Steele do this?"

He argued there's no proof it's Edgar Steele's voice captured on the June 9 and 10, 2010, recordings of Steele, 65, and Fairfax discussing the alleged hit on Cyndi Steele. The FBI obtained them when Fairfax became an informant.
Besides, he said, the recordings are "nothing but talk," and are subject to "human interpretation."

"The recordings are like fantasy, like fiction, like writing a book like Mr. Fairfax" has been doing, he said. McAllister pointed out that neither Cyndi Steele nor daughter Kelsey Steele believe the FBI's secret recordings are authentic. "As far as we know Larry Fairfax never told anybody what he was doing" until the pipe bomb was found June 15 during an oil change. It was then that Fairfax confessed.

"Larry wanted to set up Ed, and be the hero," McAllister said.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Marc Haws, during the government's closing arguments, played a crucial section of one of the recordings, during which Steele specifically mentions a "car bomb" to Fairfax.

Haws advised the jurors to replay and listen carefully to the recordings during deliberations. "Listen to the natural flow of the conversations," he said. "They talk and reply in context." "Get this job done, Larry," Steele is heard saying.
Driving her off the road was discussed as an option, along with "guns blazing."

"I'm pissed, but I don't want her to suffer," Steele's heard saying. It would be better to "happen so fast she's not even aware what's going on."

Haws said Steele offered Fairfax $10,000 to kill Cyndi Steele, another $10,000 to kill her mother, and $5,000 to make the hits in Oregon, paid in silver coins.
Prosecutors during the trial showed receipts for thousands of dollars in silver Fairfax cashed in at coin shops in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. The Steeles held tens of thousands of dollars in silver.

If some uninsured motorist coverage kicked in after an auto accident that killed her, Fairfax was told he could get more, Haws said. "Otherwise, you only get our basic agreement," Steele said on the tapes. "I wanted to give you a powerful incentive."

To pay for expenses on one of two trips to the Portland area, where Cyndi Steele was staying with her mother, Steele provided Fairfax with some money.
"I'm going to give you a four hundred buck advance," Steele is heard saying on one of the recordings. Fairfax returned from that meet with $400, according to testimony from the trial. "If that black thing leaves, I guarantee you she's driving it," Steele said, apparently talking about Cyndi Steele's black SUV.

Haws argued that Steele created an alibi for himself on a day when Cyndi Steele was to be killed in Oregon. He made plans to travel to Spokane on June 11 to buy lumber with a friend, stop for lunch, and run other errands, and make himself memorable at stops.

Haws told the jury the government doesn't have to prove why Steele did what he's accused of doing. Still, he mentioned "this little Russian girl," referring to 25-year-old Tatiyana Loganova, of Lugansk, Ukraine.
Loganova testified via video-recorded deposition, saying Steele had told her he's divorced, living alone and planning to come visit her. She said they met on an Internet dating site.

The defense has argued that Steele was interacting with Ukrainian women online not to find a romantic connection but as part of research for a case and eventually a book. Haws told the jury no case has ever been filed, and no book is being written - it was just a lie to his wife and family to cover up his pursuit of Loganova.

McAllister said if Steele really wanted to leave his wife for Loganova - who "didn't speak a word of English" - he could have just walked away. "It's not a motive to commit murder," he said.

Haws said Steele learned that a divorce was going to be too expensive and could limit contact with his children, when Cyndi Steele petitioned for a divorce in 2000. He argued Edgar Steele didn't want to go that route. The jury is considering the charges of use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire; aiding and abetting the use of explosive material to commit a felony; aiding and abetting the possession of a destructive device in relation to a crime of violence; and tampering with a victim. The fourth count stems from Steele's alleged efforts to instruct Cyndi Steele what to say to federal authorities.

More details on Wednesday surfaced about the book Fairfax is writing. Fairfax testified, again, that he's initially calling the book "Act of Defiance." He said the title describes his "going against Edgar Steele and turning him in" to the FBI. Cover art will be of Fairfax's logging truck driving over a member of the Aryan Nations.

Fairfax was a former logger, and Steele represented Aryan Nations leader Richard Butler. The former jailmate who drew the cover for Fairfax testified that it also has an "FBI guy stabbing Larry in the back." Fairfax said he hopes it will become the basis for an action movie.

Angry MSNBC On Jury Deliberations

This quote in the Judenpresse is very significant:"The voice prosecutors attributed to Steele also discussed the timing of his alibi and warned Fairfax.". It is the first mention that gives ANY credence to the idea that the recording is a fake. My guess is that the recording is authentic but it is certain that Steele would have had to be completely crazy for this to be so. There is compelling evidence that he is severely mentally impaired after his aorta surgery.

Jury deliberates in Idaho murder for hire case

By REBECCA BOONE

updated 5/5/2011 6:45:58 AM ET

BOISE, Idaho — An Idaho jury is trying to decide if an attorney who has gained attention representing unpopular clients is guilty of hiring a hit man to kill his wife and his mother-in-law or if he's the victim of a frame-up.

The panel began its deliberations Wednesday in the case against Edgar J. Steele, meeting late into the night before breaking until Thursday morning.
Steele, best known for defending clients like the Aryan Nations, was arrested last June and charged with four federal felonies: Victim tampering, using interstate facilities in the commission of a murder for hire, using explosive material to commit a felony and possessing a destructive device in relation to a violent crime.

Federal prosecutors say Steele hired Larry Fairfax to kill his wife, Cyndi Steele, and his mother-in-law because he wanted insurance money and to be free to pursue another woman. Neither woman was harmed, though a pipe bomb was found strapped underneath Cyndi Steele's car when she took the vehicle for an oil change. Investigators allege her husband and Fairfax discussed several possible murder scenarios, including blowing up Cyndi Steele's car or running her off the road.

Fairfax told federal investigators about the alleged plot and testified against Edgar Steele. During the trial that began more than a week ago, jurors also heard from witnesses including Cyndi Steele — who says her husband is innocent — and listened to several recordings that prosecutors say contain the voices of Fairfax and Steele discussing the murder plot.

Steele opted not to testify on his own behalf. In closing arguments, his attorney painted the picture of a family man who had been wrongly caught up in a plot authored by the alleged hit man in the case.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Marc Haws told jurors that all the evidence was in the tapes. He played clips of Steele allegedly telling Fairfax he didn't want his wife to suffer, but wanted the hit man to get the job done and if it looks like a car accident, he would get a bigger payout.

The voice prosecutors attributed to Steele also discussed the timing of his alibi and warned Fairfax. "With her, I ah, I spent 25 years married to her, and it wasn't all fun and games. But even so, I don't want to go out of my way to see her suffer. I want this over with," Steele allegedly said on the tapes.
Steele's attorney, Robert McAllister, said in his closing arguments that the recordings were works of fantasy. He urged jurors to listen for possible anomalies, including background noises of train whistles and birds singing.
He also reminded jurors of Cyndi Steele's testimony and that of the Steeles' 20-year-old daughter, Kelsey. Both women testified that they didn't believe the voice on the recordings was authentic.

Steele had recently given his mother-in-law nearly $3,000, McAllister noted. And on the same day when his wife was supposed to be targeted for murder, Steele spoke to his wife about her mother, her health and money problems.
McAllister said the phone conversation showed that his client loved his wife.
"Phone records don't lie. ... It's the fact — he did talk to her. The evidence in this case is that he loved Cyndi Steele... Never did Edgar Steele feel anything except love for his family. Never did he intend to harm anyone," he said.

Fairfax is writing a book about the case and wanted to portray himself as a hero, McAllister said. The recordings show that Fairfax was trying to set up Steele, the attorney contended.

Haws described Steele as unhappily married, as someone who wanted out but knew that a divorce would ruin him financially. He disputed claims that the tapes were bogus. "There's no evidence in this case that those recordings were in any way manipulated or changed in any way, that somehow some 'Mission Impossible' plot has been worked by the federal government to change things around and add words," Haws said.

If convicted of all charges, Steele faces more than 30 years in prison.
In the months preceding the trial, Steele's supporters said he was being framed by the government because of his work representing Aryan Nations leader Richard Butler and other controversial figures.

Pat Shannan comment on Boise trial, 5/4/2011
2011 MAY 5

Jury About to Render Decision in Idaho

By Pat Shannan

Looking pale and drawn from 11 months of jailhouse food and no sunlight, Idaho attorney Edgar Steele was finally able to face his accusers when his federal trial began in Boise. He is charged with hiring his handyman to murder his wife and mother-in-law. Ironically, the opening statements began on the morning of April 27, the Steele’s 26th wedding anniversary.

The jury must sort out who plotted against whom. Did Edgar Steele, 65, want his wife murdered because he expected a 25-year-old Ukrainian woman that he had met only on the Internet to run away with him? Or did Larry Fairfax, 50, steal the family’s silver from its secret hiding place and then fabricate the murder plot as a cover-up? Jailhouse inmate Darrell Hollisgsworth testified that Fairfax told him that the FBI had “made a deal” with him to frame Edgar Steele.

FBI Special Agent Mike Sotka, testified that he had first heard handyman Larry Fairfax’s story on Wednesday, June 9 and set out to verify the accusations by hooking a recorder to Fairfax’s inside pocket and sending him back to further discuss the details. Steele’s wife Cyndi was in Oregon at the time tending to her gravely ill mother. She has stood by her husband and believes the recordings and murder-for-hire charges were contrived to frame him.

A crudely constructed pipe bomb was found underneath Cyndi’s SUV when she stopped for a routine oil change in Coeur d’Alene on June 15, but the fuse was faulty and had failed to ignite from muffler heat as the culprits apparently expected. Fairfax had admitted last year that he had placed the bomb there two weeks earlier. Lending a further shadow of suspicion over authorities was their own court testimony that no fingerprinting of the bomb was attempted before or after removal.

The Steeles claim they were “set-up” because of his politically incorrect stand on various issues. Both Cyndi and daughter Kelsey, 20, testified that they have endured telephone death threats for several years.

The several audio excerpts played for the jury sound potentially incriminating to the first-time listener, but the defense has maintained for months that the purported voice of Edgar Steele heard on the recordings is not that of their client and that computer “Voice Morphing” equipment is available on the Internet for as little as fifty dollars.

Prior to the trial, defense attorneys enlisted the aid of two audio experts who, independent of each other, found the recordings to be contrived. One listed over 300 discrepancies of suspicion and went so far as to assert that the voice discussing the murder-for-hire payoffs with Fairfax was not that of Edgar Steele.

However, at April 20-21 pretrial hearings, Judge Lynn Winmill dealt the defense a severe blow by ruling that the recordings could be entered into the case but not the testimony of the two experts, Dr. George Papcun of Santa Fe, NM and Dennis Walsh, a former NYC detective in charge of audio at the precinct level – due to timely failure of notification of the court.

Indeed, one of the recordings played in the courtroom was that of Steele and Fairfax walking across the yard toward the horse barn discussing the feeding and care of the animals. The breeze was obvious and Steele’s voice sounded to be a few feet away as they strolled and talked. But each time the conversation drifted to the incriminating portions – such as Edgar offering $400 travel money or warning Larry to be certain to “get it done, get it done by Friday” – the background noise ceased and the volume level of the Steele voice improved to the point that one could visualize him speaking directly into the microphone.

However, in the middle of trial, the defense was encouraged when Judge Winmill reconsidered and ruled that world renowned expert George Papcun Ph.d’s testimony would be allowed via an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) from where he is vacationing in Bora Bora.

But the next morning Winmill waffled again, saying that Papcun could testify to impeach the validity of the tapes but only in person and ordered that Papcun must be there by 8:30 the next morning. He closed the court for the day but defense attorneys found it impossible to return the expert from the south Pacific by the next day. His testimony has the potential to destroy the government’s case as well as provoke a fraud investigation but will not be heard.

Unexpected testimony from Larry Fairfax during cross examination revealed that he was writing a book. The court was taking the free day to examine the manuscript, as any admissions or confessions there that might corroborate the Hollisngsworth testimony could finish the case Steele’s favor as well.

The jury of 11 women and 1 man received the case for deliberation at 3:37 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4.

(Note from Pat Shannan)

Experience hath shown within the many federal trials that I have covered that whenever the government has much to lose (such as Federal Reserve & IRS exposure of truths or a frame-up that needs to be protected) the jury returns with a “guilty” verdict in but an hour or two – far too soon to have had time to even review a small portion of the usual evidence on hand. The recent Liberty Dollar and Bernard von Nothaus show trial in North Carolina and similar activity in Philadelphia with Larken Rose a few years ago come to mind. This only tells me that the jury has been pre-rigged with a secret “assassin.”

The Boise jury will not actually begin deliberating until Thursday morning. With all this in mind, let us watch what happens from there.

As in all government-planned assassinations (let’s face it: 99% are), a back-up shooter (or two or three) is always involved to guarantee success. The same can be certain in judicial assassinations.

In “The Lynching of Edgar Steele,” as I am apt to title a future magazine article, we saw the suspected set-up from the beginning – with the false motive of insurance payoffs when no insurance was in place, a wife’s nonexistent boyfriend, an alleged bomb case with no fingerprint attempts by law enforcement, a husband who with a “secret” girl-friend a half-world away at which the actual existence-of even his wife and daughter laugh and suggest it might be “a sixty-year-old fat man” responding to the E-mails, and the testimony of various law-enforcement personnel who may be seeking rewards via Title 5, Sec. 4502,4503,4504, and 4302 to enhance their so-called @#$%! “performance.” ( A participating deceiver from the government can also receive “time off duty without loss of pay” for helping bring down a politically incorrect activist.) FYI, although they had knowledge of this unfair incentive, no participating defense attorney bothered to ask any government witness if he or she was expecting any reward should there be a conviction of the defendant in this case.)

Of course, the most solid evidence against this politically incorrect defendant is the phoniest of all. The bogus audio tapes mentioned above that even the expert’s testimony deemed “contrived” was disallowed by the first assassin, Lynn Winmill, alleged referee.

It appears that the fix is in. Let us pray that we are wrong.

Angry Defense Whining Over their Incompetence

It pains me to rise in support of Judge Winmill here. The Defense is whining about his unfair treatment of their audio expert. The scum sucking defense lawyers have known for weeks of the on again/off again admissibility of Papcun's testimony. He never has claimed that the recordings are faked. The fool goes off to a vacation to Bora Bora halfway around the world in the middle of the trial. That mere fact looks elitist to working people on the jury. Then Cyndi whines that it will cost $120,000 to fly him back with a chartered jet in time to testify.

The prosecution has every right to cross examine the supposed expert. To paraphrase the judge, "Procrastination on the part of the defense does not constitute an emergency on my part." This makes the defense a laughing stock in front of the jury. This is the worst incompetence displayed by Steele's lawyers so far. They have a rough enough job if they were competent.

BOISE, Idaho — A federal jury in Idaho has found an attorney who once represented the Aryan Nations guilty on all four counts related to a plot to hire a hit man to kill his wife and mother-in-law.

Angry My Crystal Ball is Worthless (The Five Words)

I saw a hung jury but no such luck. My crystal ball was made in China. Now $108,000 of Patriot's money has been squandered on scum sucking lawyers, just like in the Chester Dole case.

Edgar Steele guilty on all counts
Meghann M. Cuniff The Spokesman-Review

BOISE — A North Idaho lawyer accused of plotting to blow up his wife failed to convince a federal jury Thursday that he was the victim of a government conspiracy to silence him.

The jury 11 women and 1 man convicted Edgar Steele on all four counts against him, which alleged he’d hired a hitman-turned-FBI-informant to kill his wife, Cyndi Steele, and mother in law. Federal agents foiled the plan, though a pipe bomb later was found attached to Cyndi Steele’s sport utility vehicle and was disarmed.

Cyndi Steele, however, stood by her husband throughout the case.

“He’s innocent,” an emotional Cyndi Steele said after the verdict was read. “He did not do this, and we have the proof, which was denied in the courtroom.”

The Steeles contend secret government recordings by the FBI of Edgar Steele plotting the would-be murder with the family’s handyman, Larry Fairfax, were fabricated. Prosecutors dispute it, but an audio expert that Steele had hired to question the authenticity of the recordings was unavailable to testify because he reportedly was vacationing in Bora Bora.

Jurors began deliberating Wednesday afternoon to decide if Edgar Steele hired his handyman, Larry Fairfax, to kill his wife with a pipe bomb, or if he is the victim of a government conspiracy to silence him because of his political views and legal work.

Steele describes himself as the “attorney for the damned” and represented the Aryan Nations in the 2000 lawsuit from the Southern Poverty Law Center that bankrupted the racist group. He has been in custody since his arrest June 11 at his home near Sagle.

The case was moved to Boise after the trial was delayed at the last minute in Coeur d’Alene March 7.

Cyndi Steele believes he is innocent and has criticized prosecutors for not pursing more serious charges against the alleged hitman-turned-FBI informant, Larry Fairfax.

Fairfax was arrested June 15 after Coeur d’Alene auto shop workers found a pipe bomb under Cyndi Steele’s car. The FBI says Fairfax put it there but never told investigators. Fairfax pleaded guilty last October to two federal weapons charges and is to be sentenced after Steele’s trial.

Prosecutors say Steele wanted his wife killed so he could pursue a relationship with a 25-year-old Ukrainian woman.

Steele sent more than 14,000 messages to the woman and others whom he met through an online dating website. His wife and other supporters said the communication was part of his research into Russian mail order brides.

Defense lawyer Robert McAllister questioned the authenticity of FBI recordings in which Steele discusses the murder plot with Fairfax.

In the recordings, Steele discusses planned alibis for the day his wife is to be killed. Before his arrest, investigators told Steele his wife was dead to observe his reaction and see if he brought up the proposed alibis.

Police described Steele’s reaction as flat and forced until they told him he was under arrest for murder for hire and a fecal odor filled the air.

“I would submit that his body reacted and told more truth than his mouth did,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Marc Haws said in his closing argument Wednesday.

‎"The jury 11 WOMEN and 1 man convicted Edgar Steele on all four counts against him ..."

It was stacked against him. He never had a chance. They clearly did everything possible to keep White, thinking men off the jury.

And if anyone saw a hung jury with 11 women (who likely worship nigger Oprah) on it that person has no clue about women, juries, or the Jewdicial system in America today.

Well, after a year of posting's in what I say has been been a VNNF grand jury has resulted in a case that should never have gone before a court for Steel except for medical help.

As all this transpired "After" his Severe Heart Attack Surgery.

Fairfax, should have been buried under the jail for not helping the man "Steel get help, but Fatfax is not a good White man, but just a demented ignorant genocidal floatsum un-read savage average p.c. drunkard patri-tard Talk Radio loving disciple IMO.

Fairfax salutes the flag of the JollyRoger IMO.

No intelligent professional of 65 years of age would or could ever actually consider to dare and try to commit such a stupid TNB plot like this.

IMO this case does show US as did the case of Halvin Turdface, the level the regime will go to to etc.
