From the Original Star Trek to The Orville: Science Fiction & Modern Media Culture | NEW ORDER
Science Fiction and Modern Media Culture
Commentary by Gerald Griffin I have fond memories of being a young lad hurrying home after school to catch a daily episode of Star Trek, which ran in syndication on a local network in the afternoons. At the time, all I remembered and absorbed from this series was that some episodes were more interesting than others. That show originally ran from 1966 through 1969. As an adult, I became vaguely aware of its popular culture fame as it approached its 25th anniversary. This was also nearing the era where Star Trek: The Next Generation began its broadcast run (1987-1994). In many of the television features, highlighting the original series, I became aware of the subtle, underlying subtexts of the producer. For example, the racially integrated crewmembers, the first televised interracial kiss, the condemnation of totalitarian, military regimes (Klingons represented the Soviet Union), a myriad of worlds and life forms which somehow underscored the progressive ideas of “democracy,” “tolerance” and “diversity” and finally; of course, the landing party destabilizing the “evil” National Socialist themed world.* A number of episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation were even more overt about these thematic agendas; continued borrowing/embracing from alien/foreign cultures, hybridization with alien races as commonplace and with one episode prominently featuring a race/culture of normalized homosexuals. What I was witnessing was the hijacking of a successful popular culture franchise to advance culturally destructive meta-messages. From the cathode ray tubes down to the use of subliminals, it's why the CIA and Advertising Execs seem to, many of them, concur: Do not watch the television.
Cuz they understand what you said real well: nothing coming out of it is benign. It's a means to an end/serving a purpose, and not a good one. That's not to say I haven't seen useful things on it. But I could've spared seeing some bad ones, especially as a child. TV should be a very controlled instrument if used at all. Like said in the vid, whatever you watch, do so critically.

The latest iteration of Star Trek, Star Trek: Discovery, or STD , is apparently so overloaded with propaganda, race-mixing and faggotry, it makes the original 1966-69 series look positively fascist, even though it was jewed from the very beginning.

One can easily chart the decline of the United States from a White people's republic to a multiracial cesspool by examining its popular culture over the decades.
In the the original pilot for Star Trek (1965), the writers imagined a future that was White and bright. But in 2017, Star Trek Discovery envisions a future that is darker racially, morally and visually.

10 years before the original Star Trek there was Forbidden Planet, which directly inspired Gene Roddenberry and later, Star Wars and other films. Not a non-White to be seen in this movie. By the way, the same guy who designed Robbie the Robot designed the Lost In Space Robot.

I tried watching The Orville this evening, but turned it off when I saw a White female character giving the goo-goo eyes to the nigger character. Same old shit, no surprise there.

And here is another look at the redesigned Klingons. Apparently this is an effort by the make-up artists at the studio to further enhance the already breathtaking beauty of the Negro race.

From the Original Star trek to the Orville: Science Fiction & Modern Media Culture
I heard about the Orville, and that was enough for me.
I've written a pilot for a sci-fi comedy called Battelstar Elastica. It's about a renegade starship fighting that dreaded robot enemy, the Nylons. Its captain is Finn Twain, who ran for president, lost, and took over the Elastica. He's assisted by Polly Desenex, his female weapons officer, and Princess Krool, a warrior princess from the Lycra Confederation. Lt. Kaopectate is the laundry officer and a Barney Fife wannabe. An example of the series is an episode where the Elastica gets a visit from the president of the world, Trainwreck Otrauma, and his minister of state, Hilary Tirillary. They plot to get the Elastica back under Earth control, and a mistake by Kaopectate shows Otrauma is really a large talking balloon made by the World Confederation so he could win the elections with a 97 percent approval...the other three percent were libertarians. I think it would be more fun then the Orville. |

Thank you. It and the two other episodes I wrote have a lot of laugh to loud scenes, and my writer's group liked it a lot…but they were also uneasy at criticizing 'the leader.' They really put it that way, and saying it was 'politically incorrect.' It's always the women who say that. People, especially the artsy types, were in love with Obama and Hilary, and they were a little afraid of saying something against him.
We met in this one arts center for a reading, and around us were these tapestries some old hippie broad made of Obama, with Bible verses justifying his election, and him having a third eye…the sign of holiness in Indian religion. These older, liberal whites are really obsessed with having niggers in high places. I remember an essay online during his rule where someone equated him with the light catchers described in Buffy…spiritual beings sent from another world. It had all the makings of a Star Trek world Kirk needed to set right. |

'The Orville' is among the most jewed garbage I've seen on TV in awhile. There haven't been any decent sci-fi series on in about 10+ years.
I used to like Stargate SG1, and while it was jewed as well, it was very mildly jewed compared to garbage like 'The Orville'. There were lots of advanced cultures and civilizations in Stargate SG1 that were almost entirely White. It's not like the in-your-face anti-White garbage they're putting on the air now. There were a few lesser advanced cultures, basically throwbacks to the middle ages, one in particular were the "Simmerians", and they still worshiped Norse gods, and they were White.

The "re-imagined" Battlestar Galactica was crappy, too. I didn't get the Sci-Fi Channel when it was originally broadcast in the 2000s, but rented the DVDs later and watched most of it all at once. The 1978-79 show was basically a TV version of Star Wars, and I enjoyed watching it as a teenager every Sunday night on ABC. Silly, but fun. Sure, Lorne Greene (Commander Adama) was a jew and there were two black characters, Col. Tigh and Boomer. In the new BSG, Adama is a spic, played by Eddie Olmos, Starbuck was a woman and Boomer was a gookess. The whole tone of the series was changed to dark and grim (sure, the Cylons wiped out most of humanity), kind of like what was done with the Batman movies. And the ending was depressing as hell--finally discovering Earth, but Earth in the distant past and the surviving humans discarding all their advanced technology to mate with Homo Erectus in Africa. The only thing I did like about the show was Caprica 6, the gorgeous blonde human-looking Cylon played by Tricia Helfer.

From the Original Star trek to the Orville: Science Fiction & Modern Media Culture NEW ORDER
I never saw the old Battle star Galactica except bits and pieces. it seemed like a Star Wars ripoff, so I wasn't interested, and it recalls how Star Wars took over EVERYTHING then. I saw a couple of episodes on ME TV, and I'm not impressed. Noted how they HAD to have blacks, and also all that big 70's hair. Yesh.
As for the Battlestar remake, I enjoyed the series and bought DVDs, as I don't have cable. I enjoy the look…black and gray instead of all that white and chrome of the disco years…and enjoyed the acting. I also liked seeing Katie Sackhof, Grace Park, and Lucy Lawless, as well as the Cylons trying to evolve into humans. Also, Gaius was portrayed very well as a contemporary sell out so typical of much of our ruling class. I must admit I liked Tricia Helfer, but the character is creepey. Remember, she killed a baby in its buggy in the pilot. Also, the Cylons exterminated billions of people, so I really don't see their side of it. I agree the end was disappointing…getting rid of all technology and joining ape-like humanoids. But this is part of a trend where it's believed we had some 'help' from outer space, that the evolution/ape theory/out of Africa/ is full of holes. Curious how our species made a quick advance to technology and civilized behavior in a very quick stretch of time. Also, I heard podcasts from Battlestar's creator. He shot the series in Canada, which explains all the white actors. He took a lot of flack for not having blacks in the main cast, and making Starbuck and Boomer women. He also did service in the navy, which made the series feel authentic. He's also a bit of an arrogant jerk who didn't care about the critics. He's also pretty much the standard liberal. When one episode came up of a girl who had a baby and wanted to abort it (and you think having lost billions of people, the survivors would be mad to reproduce), he backed writing and filming the story where the girl has an abortion, claiming 'we had to support the right to choice.' Hollywood…abortion is the one damned thing they really will die for. |
