6/28/21 National Justice has received word that the photo circulated belonged to a different Mike Davis at Lonoke County Sheriff's Office.

We are retracting this part of the story until more information becomes available.



A 17-year-old boy, Hunter Brittain, was shot by police near Cabot, Arkansas last week in what witnesses and family members are saying was a homicide.

According to his grandmother, a witness who was his passenger, and his employer, Brittain, who is white, got up in the middle of the night to try and fix his truck after being called to report to work at his construction job at 6 AM.

After leaving the auto shop to test drive his vehicle, Brittain was stopped at a traffic light by a Lonoke County Sheriff's Department deputy.

According to another teenager, who was in the truck during the incident, Brittain's truck was not coming to a full stop when he pulled over, so he got out and attempted to put a can of motor oil behind the tire to stop it from rolling.

It was then that Sgt. Michael Davis, who has been on the force since 2013, opened fire and killed him.

Only Black Lives Matter?

The local community has reacted with fury at the incident. They have been protesting every night since the incident. One video on Facebook shows trucks doing burnouts in the parking lot of the local Sheriff's office to express their rage.

Sheriff John Staley has attempted to quell crowds, led by Brittain's heartbroken grandmother, that have been making noise outside his police department by telling them that they were suspending Davis and that Arkansas State Police were investigating the incident.

But Staley and local media have not released a photo of the officer in question, nor any details outside of his name. Nobody has even confirmed if Davis even had his body camera on during what appears to be an appalling act of callous disregard for human life.

While the NAACP and Urban League have released statements condemning the police shooting, attempts by some younger members of the protest to generate national attention to this case by tying it to the Black Lives Matter movement have failed.

So far, national media has refused to report on this textbook case of police malfeasance, despite the fact that the victim is highly sympathetic.. As of this time, there has been no interest from the FBI to look into whether Brittain's civil rights were violated. The people protesting appear to be white and local, suggesting that regional Black Lives Matter and leftist groups are not offering any meaningful support.

Lonoke County is poor and overwhelmingly white, with a per capita income of $17,397, which is well below the federal poverty line. This allows institutional abuses to go unchallenged.

A New York City corrections officer was arrested and charged with attempted gang assault, police said Friday.

Jimmy Wu, 28, was picked up around 9:40 a.m. on Friday for the June 27 attack, cops said.

The officer, whose been with the agency since 2017, is accused of participating in a group beatdown of a 20-year-old on a street corner in Chinatown around 4 a.m., police said.

Wu and the other suspects got into a verbal dispute with the man, who was stabbed in the torso with an unknown sharp object, cops said.

The NYPD’s former highest-ranking uniformed officer is cashing in with his new gig at City Hall — thanks to a little-known legal loophole that allows him to collect both a pension and a taxpayer-funded salary, The Post has learned.

Retired Chief of Department Terence Monahan started collecting his $188,280 annual pension on March 28 while also earning a $242,592 annual salary as Mayor de Blasio’s new senior advisor, according to documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Law.

Here in Floriduh they do that too. I have a cousin in his early 50s. Retired from the sheriffs office after 28 years. Stayed retired for 6 months to collect his pension, and then after the 6 months went back to work for the sheriff in a part time investigators role (still carries a badge, gun) and collects TWO paychecks. Goes in three days a week and does mostly easy computer work on his hours.

In August 2018, Brailsford was reinstated by the Mesa Police Department, staying for a further 42 days in what the department described as a "budget position". The department agreed to reimburse Brailsford for medical expenses related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Brailsford's lawyer has said that Brailsford suffered PTSD due to his shooting of Shaver and the resultant criminal trial. The reinstatement allowed Brailsford to apply for "accidental disability" suffered during the course of work. As a result, Brailsford was unanimously approved to be retired on medical grounds. BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) — A Bucks County police officer is one of four men arrested for attempting to lure a child for sex. Officials say Clifford Horn, a corporal with the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, was allegedly outed after a group of concerned citizens posing as underage kids set up a fake meeting.

It’s not clear if Cpl. Horn will keep his job as an officer in Central Bucks after he was arrested in Atlantic City over the weekend after allegedly being caught in the act.

NORTH PORT, Fla. – A Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been arrested for stalking and threatening a woman for about a year in North Port.

Charlotte County Deputy David Motz, 31, was arrested by CCSO deputies on a North Port Police Department warrant for aggravated stalking, NPPD confirmed.

The victim told NPPD investigators that he has been stalking her for about one year. The harassment was a daily occurrence for the victim, according to officers.

In one incident, Motz told the victim if he lost his job because of her reporting the harassment, she would “…end up like Denise Amber Lee,” investigators said. The victim told officers she took this to mean she would be kidnapped, raped, and murdered like Denise Amber Lee in Charlotte County.

North Port police said during an argument around June 2019, Motz pointed a department-issued taser at her, turned it on, and threatened to tase her.

The victim also gave officers numerous emails, call logs, and voicemails. The department said the emails showed that she repeatedly asked him to stop contacting her. He ignored her and continued to call, show up at her work, email her, and follow her to different locations in and around North Port.
