On balance, the Neanderthals were hanging around, well adapted for hundreds of thousands of years, surviving under the roughest ice age condition and were systematically pushed out from east to west by Cro-Magnon.
The last of them were killed off around 25,000 years ago, still under ice-age conditions. We might hate to admit this but it is clear: We killed them all. |
