Jew Scott Ian Calls Phil Anselmo's Nazi Salute 'Vile,' Suggests Donation to Jewish Center

Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo may be sorry for his "white power" remarks and Nazi gestures at last week's Dimebash event, but Anthrax frontman Scott Ian is suggesting he put his money where his mouth is.

In a message posted to Ian's personal website, the heavily bearded heavy metal figurehead suggested Anselmo show how sincere he is by making a donation to Jewish human rights organization the Simon Wiesenthal Center.

"Hate speech. Racism. Inflammatory rhetoric.... All dangerous no matter what the context. I have ZERO TOLERANCE for any of this and to not speak out against them is as dangerous as the acts themselves," wrote Ian. "Philip's actions were vile and that should be the focus here, anything else is just noise."
