Self-defence for women
Many women these days take martial arts classes. The problem is, these classes are not grounded in reality. They don't deal in directness because directness tends towards strikes that can permanently injure or even kill, and most schools don't want to be seen as being overly violent and therefore take a 'soft' approach towards martial arts and violence. This superficial attitude towards training techniques can be best described as dry land swimming. you can do hip punches until you are blue in the face, you will not get any better, and unless you can endure, you won't stand a chance in a real fight...especially against a man, and this is the point of my post.
Taking fitness classes serves a good purpose, and that is to build stamina in which after striking, you can run away. Here are my tips to striking your male attacker and what to do when you have landed your blow. A) Kick to the groin: A kick to the groin is not as simple as you see on T.V. Someone wearing jeans sometimes has a little buffer zone in between his groin and the kick or knee. After committing to this strike, you have effectively given away you intentions to fight and if not successful, your attacker may become more aggressive towards you. I would avoid this strike unless you are really desperate and cannot use your arms. B) Finger jab to the eyes: A finger jab to the eyes is very effective. Why? Because it doesn't need much power to be effective and doesn't require much training (perhaps accuracy drills but that's all) Your fingernails can also help you with this strike. C) Eye gouge: An eye gouge comes in useful in close quarters, press your thumbs into your opponents eyes as hard as you can, try and get your fingernails in there if possible. D) Punch to the Adam's Apple. This requires some power. A blow to the Adam's Apple delivered hard enough can kill. However, this guide is for the woman who's very life is in danger and so we are assuming you have no choice left. Try to aim to the bottom of the Adam's Apple and punch slightly upwards. A cross between a straight punch and an uppercut is what you are aiming for. Be ruthless and hit as hard as you can. Remember we are fantasizing about a situation in which your life is about to be taken, or you are facing a rape attempt etc....Do not think of your opponent's health and don't hesitate. E) After landing your blow and with your opponent stunned or hurt etc, just RUN. I advise white women to not wear high-heels, they will only restrict you in your getaway. This is also where the fitness training comes in handy, because your stamina will help you keep running for a longer period. Stay safe out there white sisters. |

Bite. Keep biting and don't let go. You can do this even with your hands behind your back. Most animals that are considered dangerous are dangerous because they bite - lions, sharks, bears, dogs, gorillas, crocodiles. The jaw is a lever that can put down tonnes of force on the attacker and coupled with the hardest, sharpest part of the body the teeth you have nature's life saving defensive weapon that doesn't need a concealed carry permit. If you are about to be murdered, remember you can literally 'go for the jugular'. Quote:
