Completely out of touch and clueless response from the rubes at the Bnp. They have just lost in a council by election in Havering. Havering should be the easiest place for the Bnp to win a seat.Historically the Councillors have been independent and the electorate do not like diversity despite the fact that many of them are crypto jewish refugees from the eastend.

So what has the Bnp analysis of this loss produced ?. The above article, you could not make this up if you tried. The entire article is a cry for coloured palestinian arabs that would shame Bev.The whole thing is written as if the entire world / electorate were political soldiers. The author seems to be completely unaware of the numerous jews that are members of the Bnp and have been since the foundation of the Bnp. Instead of drawing any useful conclusions from their failure in Havering they seem to be saying that more gestures against israel will improve their standings. The self same arguments they present for the palestinians apply to the jews. The Bnps terms of reference is to campaign in the mainstream using legal lawful methods. If they are going to pick a side from the aliens they should pick the one that will give them power the zionists not the islamists

It is pointless having a political party within the law and campaigning within the system structures if they are going to pose as nutzis. As above out of touch juvenile nonsense with no merit or worth in legal lawful campaigning politics in the UK.

If Griffin has not sacked the cunt who wrote it and deleted it from the website by the end of the day anyone still paying and campaigning for the Bnp in the legal arena is wasting their time and money.

Absoloutely shocking written by a physical weakling gelding type I have no doubt can someone identify the author I would like to know who he is.
It is not possible to thumbs up my own post so here it is again.I have done this as some imbecile has given this tread the twenty thumbs down treatment. Presumably it is done back spaces a page one can repeat the thumbing ?

Lord Tebbit has urged tactical voters to back the UK Independence Party in tomorrow’s local elections.

In an extraordinary intervention, the Tory grandee said UKIP’s policies were now those ‘closest to a traditional Conservative agenda’. And he urged Right-leaning voters in Labour areas to vote tactically for whichever candidate had the best chance of causing an upset – even if they are not Conservative.

Amid growing signs that the Tories could haemorrhage support to UKIP, David Cameron signalled an end to personal attacks on his rivals, insisting: 'I'm not calling anybody anything.'

The parties go into battle in 34 councils in tomorrow's elections, with the Tories braced for big losses in areas last contested in 2009 when Gordon Brown was leading Labour to a major defeat. But all eyes will be on what impact UKIP can make, and how many votes it can take from the bigger parties

Pollsters predict UKIP could win between 40 and 100 seats when voters got to polls in 34 councils in England and Wales.

Nigel Farage's anti-EU party is fielding almost as many candidates as the Lib Dems, and is confident of coming at least third in the overall share of the vote.

One poll of areas where elections are being held on Thursday put UKIP on 22 per cent, well ahead of the Lib Dems on 12 per cent and only just behind Labour on 24 per cent. The Conservatives were in first on 31 per cent, but Tory strategists fear their recent attacks on UKIP could backfire and see more voters switch to back Mr Farage.

Lord Tebbit, who has been warned by David Cameron against making pro-UKIP remarks – said he would vote Conservative because he supported his local Tory council.

But, in comments on a newspaper blog that could result in disciplinary action, he added: ‘If you have a Labour councillor then I suggest that the best vote is the one most likely to replace him or her with either a Conservative, UKIP or sound independent one.’

UKIP has been under sustained assault from the Tories, with Kenneth Clarke branding the party a ‘collection of clowns’ supported by 'racists'.

And Tory sources believe the anti-EU party could do serious damage tomorrow with Conservatives potentially forced to go into coalition with UKIP councillors in once-safe Tory areas.

But Lord Tebbit said his party’s tactics were counterproductive and accused senior Tories, including Mr Clarke, of waging a ‘smear campaign’ against UKIP which could drive disaffected voters into the arms of the smaller party.

There was further chaos in the UKIP ranks last night as the father of a rising Tory star tried to withdraw his candidacy for the party just 90 minutes after it was announced.

Securing the support of Sushil Patel was a coup for the Eurosceptic party as a British Asian, and the father of the Conservative MP for Witham and leading right-winger Priti Patel, 41.

But shortly after yesterday’s announcement by Nigel Farage around 2.30pm that he was their candidate in the Bushey South ward of Hertfordshire County Council, Mr Patel told a journalist around 4pm that he had stood down.

Priti Patel said she still 'loves' her father after he was chosen as UKIP candidate in the council elections

Minutes later, UKIP, released a statement saying Mr Patel was still standing and unable to give interviews as he is ‘currently convalescing from a recent serious operation’.

They quoted Mr Patel saying: ‘I am proud of being a UKIP candidate and very proud of the achievements of my daughter who represents the people of Witham in an exemplary fashion.

‘My views are my own and I am astonished that there has been quite so much interest in my candidacy.’

It is understood he was unable to withdraw since his name is already on the ballot paper. Sources claimed he had a ‘wobble’ after Conservative central office were alerted to his candidacy.

He and his wife were Ugandan Asian refugees who came to Britain in the 1970s, and ran a post office in rural Norfolk before settling in West London, where they ran a small shop.

Mr Patel, 64, said last night: ‘Ukip is not a racist party – it is daylight coming through the darkness hours of this country... I joined a year ago because I had been watching it. Ukip is not racist – they are trying to make progress.

‘If you look at how many communities have settled here – they made their home. If it was genuinely racist it would be chaos by now. I am an example of it, not just me but all the East African Asians, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, from Rhodesia.

A foot in two camps!

I'm sure there will be other family members in other camps. In fact I'm certain of it as these Indo-Pak communities see themselves as an extended family when it comes to securing rights and privileges especially in the political realm.

Within 15-20 years these people will have an unassailable vote in parliament and with it control of the nation's legislature. Hohoho....then we'll really feel the pain!

All the talk of BNP/NF standing for office sounds totally ridiculous now but they'll need to coin a new term to describe how ridiculous that idea will become at that point in time.

For a taste of what's to come (it's already well-underway) take a few minutes to view just one scene from Africa Addio where the whites are stripped of all their worldly goods by Sikhs (Indo-Pak) and the savage blacks whom they (the Sikhs) had been originally brought in to administer.

Watch from 24 min 30 sec.

I got to 26 mins and I'd seen enough.

WTF are we doing to ourselves? I look at the comments and the ratings on the DM, I hear people complaining about immigration and tomorrow night I'll sit and watch as Labour romp home yet again. Why TF do these people complain if they're not willing to even make a stab at a solution?

My first thought was that it was a UKIP infiltration/takeover attempt on a miniature scale. It's pretty obvious that the Tories aren't going to be popping many corks tomorrow night so was this a covering all bases? Or was it just "look, UKIP really aren't racist, so all you people who would have voted BNP/NF, given the opportunity - think again. This isn't the vote for you".

Democracy and optimism are not the solution they're the enemy.

I'm a pessimist. People who think being pessimistic means being defeatist don't know what the fuck they're talking about.

Optimism doesn't give people hope it gives them an excuse to do nothing and go to the pub, or the footie, or shopping. When people whose backs are against the wall change their attitude and begin to fight it's pessimism that causes them to fight not optimism.

I'm one of those who've been pesseistic for decades and I'm getting old and tired of waiting for the optimists to join us.....

People today don't seem to have the mojo their grandparents had.

With anti-EU party UKIP set to make a significant breakthrough today, David Cameron has reinforced his commitment to hold a referendum on Britain’s future in Europe.

The Prime Minister said yesterday he was prepared to consider legislation that would guarantee an in/out referendum if he wins the general election in 2015.

More than 100 Conservative MPs have urged Mr Cameron to back legislation on a referendum in this Parliament – even if Labour and the Liberal Democrats conspire to vote it down.

Mr Cameron also sought to reassure core Tory voters by acknowledging frustration with the slow pace of change on immigration policy, and promised measures in the next few weeks to limit immigrants’ access to welfare and the NHS.

Tory and Labour strategists expect UKIP to perform strongly in today’s council polls, taking seats from both parties, and to come second in a Commons by-election in the South Shields seat vacated by David Miliband.

One poll yesterday suggested UKIP could take as much as 22 per cent of the vote in local elections and significantly limit the progress made by Labour.

A third-place showing behind UKIP would trigger a crisis for Labour leader Ed Miliband.

Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg claimed voters’ hostility to his party was easing, but conceded it could come fourth in terms of vote share today.

People can't think further than the next Eastenders or football match or payday or new console game. I don't know if they're resigned, they forget or they just don't care. As long as their immediate "needs" are met, that's all they seem to be able to think about.

Even if our backs do get put up against the wall with our most basic needs in jeopardy, I seriously doubt many will come out fighting.

A UKIP candidate standing in today’s local council elections was forced to resign as a police officer after he was caught working as a male escort in full uniform, it emerged last night.

Christopher Thorpe, 50, who is the latest candidate to cause embarrassment for the party, lost his job with Hertfordshire Police after he pleaded guilty to misconduct in 2001.

Mr Thorpe, who is standing in the Hertfordshire County Council elections, had been caught advertising as a male escort and was hired by a national newspaper to perform at a hen party.

He turned up in his police uniform and stripped to his boxer shorts before offering to have sex will all seven women in attendance.

David Cameron is braced for heavy losses in today’s local elections as the Tories battle to prevent voters deserting them for the UK Independence Party.

The Prime Minister said backing the Conservatives was a ‘vote to keep your Council Tax bill down’ as polling stations opened in 34 councils in England and Wales.

But pollsters predict UKIP could win up to 100 seats, and cost the Tories hundreds more after a campaign dominated by the rise in Nigel Farage’s anti-EU party.

A woman arrives at a polling station in Toft, Cambridgeshire while a man turns out to vote at a temporary polling station in Durham Close, Fazeley, Tamworth

In a last ditch bid to woo voters, Mr Cameron yesterday revealed he could rush forward legislation on staging a referendum on Britain’s membership of the European Union.

The Prime Minister suggested MPs could vote on Bill before the general election, despite opposition from the Lib Dems.

‘‘I think we need to demonstrate absolutely that we are serious about this referendum,’ he told the BBC.

The surprise announcement, which even caught Conservative Cabinet ministers off guard, was seen as an attempt to stop the Tories haemorrhaging votes to UKIP today.

But Mr Farage dismissed it as ‘another brittle pledge by Cameron which we won’t be falling for’.

He added on Twitter: ‘Cameron EU poll pledge just isn't believable: clearly another desperate attempt to stop the rise of @UKIP.’

If Call-Me was serious about giving the people of this country what they want, he would announce an EU in/out referendum NEXT MONTH not "If I am elected with a majority, I'll think about it".

He had his chance at the debate after the people of this country signed the petition in enough numbers to force a debate on the issue. Call-Me's response? "All MP's MUST vote AGAINST it".

But the people of this country can't remember what they had for tea last night, never mind what stitch-up they were handed six months ago.

A UKIP candidate is spending election day not campaigning but on holiday in Thailand.

David Watson is standing in Basingstoke on a promise to put ‘Britain first’.

But as voters go to the polls he is 6,000 miles, boasting on Facebook about relaxing by a swimming pool.

UKIP candidate Dave Watson, picture top on a party leaflet, has used Facebook to boast about spending election day beside a swimming pool in Thailand

The UK Independence Party is predicted to make big gains in elections in 34 council areas today and has fielded a full slate of 10 candidates in Basingstoke.

But Mr Watson, who is the party’s vice-chairman in the Hampshire town, is a long way from helping to get out the vote.

The 51-year-old local businessman flew to Asia a week ago. He wrote on Facebook that he could be there for six months, enjoying the ‘sea views’.

Speaking from Thailand today he told MailOnline: 'I admit I am here. I am here because my wife and I have had issues. It is a family crisis.

'If I get elected I can do the job with my eyes shut. I won't be charging expenses to come back.'

He is the latest UKIP candidate to embarrass the party, after claims of Nazi salutes, photos with Hitler and blaming Jews for the Holocaust.

Mr Watson's wife Phattawan said she did not know where in Thailand he is

In one message posted on April 28, Mr Watson said: ‘First day and ended up drunk on chang (beer) followed by Thai whiskey. Woke with a thumping head.’

The candidate for the Basingstoke South East division added: ‘Today had my tablet repaired and had a nice sauna and massage. Tomorrow must get down to business and join a gym.’

On Tuesday, he posted: ‘Get my condo tomorrow 6 months with sea views all on barter cant wait also has swimming pool below lovely.’

However, there is confusion about why Mr Watson is in Thailand.

His Thai wife Phattawan Watson, 31, said he left the family home suddenly two weeks ago, leaving her to look after their young children.

She added that she does not know where her husband is in Thailand.

She said: ‘He just left. I want to find out where he is. I want him to take responsibility for the children.

‘All I know is he has gone to find his future life in Thailand.’

The couple married in August 2002 and have two sons, aged ten and eight. Mrs Watson also has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

Mrs Watson said her husband owns three properties in Basingstoke, two in nearby Brighton Hill, and one in nearby Popley.

He pays the mortgage for their semi-detached home. She claims she has no savings or income, and only has 100 pounds that was left by Mr Watson when he went away. She added: ‘I don't have anything.’
UKIP CANVASSER SUSPENDED OVER 'RACIST' FACEBOOK JOKES

UKIP canvasser Tony Nixon, from Great Broughton, North Yorkshire, who has been suspended

A UKIP member allegedly posted anti-Muslim jokes and a picture of Barrack Obama mocked up to look like a chimp, it emerged today.

Tony Nixon, from Guisborough in North Yorkshire, has been suspended pending a police investigation.

It is understood Mr Nixon had been canvassing for UKIP in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, ahead of today's local elections.

Simon Cressy, a researcher for the anti-racist pressure group Hope Not Hate, accessed the Facebook page after he befriended Mr Nixon.

He said it included images of US president Barack Obama and his wife mocked up to look like chimpanzees.

There were also racist jokes about destroying mosques, burning Muslims or knocking over a Pakistani with a bus.

A UKIP spokesman said: 'We are shocked to learn about the views of Tony Nixon expressed on Facebook, which are not representative of UKIP.'

A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: 'We are aware of the issue and officers are investigating to establish if any offences have been committed. It would not be appropriate to comment further until these inquiries are completed.'

Mr Nixon was not available for comment.

The Facebook posts disappeared after he was contacted by reporters.

He told a journalist he was in Thailand to visit his wife's parents and ‘to see if there is a way to assist my wife through her crisis’.

He added: ‘I have also rented an apartment here for the family to use during this trying time.

‘My plan is to return to England in the next week or two. While I am here I intend to try and sell some family land.’

Mr Watson received the backing of his agent Phil Heath, who said: ‘He is a good and honest man. Dave Watson and his family have personal problems.

‘He's taken the decision to go before the election because it is urgent, including selling land to help out with the personal situation.

‘I always recommend to my candidates that they put family first.’

He added: ‘He will be away for a couple of weeks. If he's renting a place for six months that may be for convenience in case he needs to go back.

‘If he needs six months to sort it out, I support him on that.’

During the local election campaign Mr Farage was forced to admit his party had not properly vetted everyone standing on a UKIP ticket.

It came after members were exposed for wearing a Jimmy Savile mask, blaming the Holocaust on Jews and branding Margaret Thatcher an 'old w****'.

He defended Somerset candidate Alex Wood over an image which apparently showed him giving a Nazi salute, insisting: ‘I believe him when he says that he was angrily trying to take a camera off his girlfriend who was annoyingly taking pictures of him in the pub imitating a pot plant,' he told Huffington Post.

Hampshire candidate Bradley Monk, 19, wore a mask of DJ paedophile Jimmy Savile to a Halloween party last year and Richard Delingpole, 46, a candidate in Somerset posted a photo mock-up on Facebook of himself stood next to Adolf Hitler.

Today it emerged Christopher Thorpe, a UKIP candidate in Hertfordshire, was forced to resign as a police officer after he was caught working as a male escort in full uniform.

Nigel Farage today sought to put a brave face on the growing list of his party's candidates who have made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

People standing for the UK Independence Party have been captured wearing a Jimmy Savile mask, blaming the Holocaust on Jews and branding Margaret Thatcher an 'old w****'.

But Mr Farage defended Somerset candidate Alex Wood, who was pictured apparently giving a Nazi salute, saying he believed the explanation that he was 'imitating a pot plant'.

UKIP candidate Richard Delingpole was forced to defend posting online this picture of himself standing next to Adolf Hitler

Alex Wood, a UKIP candidate in Somerset, was pictured raising his arm in an apparent Nazi salute while Hampshire candidate Bradley Monk, 19, wore a mask of DJ paedophile Jimmy Savile to a Halloween party

Mr Farage also shrugged of criticism from a passerby that the party's campaign bus and two other vehicles, one of which had a disabled badge, were parking in disabled parking bays in Ramsey in Cambridgeshire.

'You can't blame me for everything,' he said as he launched a defence of some of his candidates.

In particular he defended Mr Wood, a UKIP candidate in Somerset, who made front page news when a picture emerged of him raising his arm in an apparent Nazi salute.

Avon and Somerset police today revealed they were investigating a complaint about the image.

Inspector Tim Coombe of Avon and Somerset police said: 'Police have received a report of malicious communication. Our inquiries are ongoing at this time.'

Mr Farage said he 'nearly had kittens' when he first saw the photo' but had since accepted Mr Wood's explanation.

'I've looked carefully into this and spoken to Alex, and I believe him when he says that he was angrily trying to take a camera off his girlfriend who was annoyingly taking pictures of him in the pub imitating a pot plant,' he told Huffington Post.

Mr Farage also insisted it was not his fault the UKIP campaign bus had parked in a disabled parking space during a visit to Ramsey in Cambridgeshire

UKIP leader Nigel Farage insisted many of the candidates who have embarrassed his party have been 'unfairly traduced'
'WE'RE ALL THATCHER'S CHILDREN': LABOUR CANDIDATE WOOS TORIES
The Labour leaflet tried to make a pitch for Thatcherites

A Labour party candidate has urged Tories to vote for him by claiming: 'We're all Thatcher's children.'

The unlikely pitch for votes was made by Labour's Gous Ali in the Sileby and The Wolds seat on Leicestershire County Council.

The leaflet says: 'You like the Tories but find it hard to vote Labour then vote for me.'

On the reverse it states 'You don't have to be Tory to like...' above a jar of Marmite with the Iron Lady's picture on it. It adds: 'We're all Thatcher's children. Vote for someone who believes in conviction politics.'

Last month Labour leader Ed Miliband denied a claim by David Cameron that 'we're all Thatcherites now'.

Today a Labour party source said: 'The Labour party believes in conviction politics.'

Mr Farage added: 'These things happen - I should know! The fact that this is supported by the people who were with him that night suggests that he has been very unfairly treated.'

UKIP has been forced to admit it does not have the resources to vet all 1,700 candidates it has standing for election tomorrow.

But Mr Farage warned that the increased scrutiny of people who put their names on ballot papers will deter more from entering politics.

He added: 'Whilst it is true that a handful of UKIP candidates have caused us embarrassment, others have been quite unfairly traduced.

'After the election I will go into details of false allegations and the downright intimidation that has happened to some of our good people.

'All I can say is that this will put off many people from standing to serve their local communities in the future, which is not only a great shame but very harmful to real democracy when ordinary people are caught in the crossfire.'

He also defended his party against accusations of racism after two candidates were found to have links to the British National Party (BNP).

Mr Farage said: 'We are the only party in British politics who expressly state that if you have been a member of the BNP or extremist organisation, you can't even join us as a member let alone a candidate.

'We have fielded 1,740 candidates and there are just two people who have quite willfully lied about their previous political links.'

David Cameron welcomed the greater attention being paid to the people standing for UKIP.

He told BBC Radio 4: 'Their policies are coming under scrutiny, their candidates are coming under scrutiny, and that is a welcome part of the political debate.

'But, as leader of the Conservative party, and as Prime Minister, I’m going add my heft, if you like, to this campaign to say ‘think about the council tax, think about local services, think about which team will deliver good services at a low cost, and that’s the Conservatives.

'As I say, parties should speak for themselves. I welcome the scrutiny of other parties’ policies and candidates – I think that’s only fair and right in a democracy. And where parties come up short, they have to explain themselves.'

Meanwhile Lord Tebbit has urged tactical voters to back the UK Independence Party in tomorrow’s local elections.

'UKIP AREN'T LOONIES... WE ARE!' MONSTER RAVING PARTY HITS BACK

Lord Toby Jug from the Official Monster Raving Loony Party

The UK Independence Party is not worthy of the description 'fruitcakes and loonies', the leader of the Monster Raving Loony Party's eastern region has said.

In a letter to The Independent, Lord Toby Jug said the use of the term 'loonies' had become 'cavalier' and it was his party who sought 'the Holy grail of Looynism'.

David Cameron famously branded Ukip members "fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists, mostly" in 2006.

Amid growing signs that the Tories could haemorrhage support to UKIP, David Cameron signalled an end to personal attacks on his rivals, insisting: 'I'm not calling anybody anything.'

A ComRes poll for the Coalition for Marriage of the 34 areas where there are local elections taking place put UKIP just two points behind Labour
