Dick Dale, Robert Plant, and Jimmy Paige were all guests on an Aussie TV talk show some years back. While Dale played one of his famous surfin' instrumentals, Plant and Paige stood staring at him, mesmerized by his brilliance.
You're right about surfing and Whites being inextricably linked. When I think of my visits to famous Aussie surfing beaches like Bell's Beach and Gunnamatta during my youth, I think of hot White babes bronzed from the summer sun and White guys in panel vans, with surfboards on their roofracks. Even the sharks there were White, Great Whites. There were no Indians, no Asians, no Sudanese, no non-White scum of any variety to be seen. The Land Downunder was so White back then. It was heaven. Pure heaven.

Is there anyway you guys might back down the stream rate from 56kbs to 24kbs? I have access through my cell phone carrier which is essentially 3x dialup and the feed is constantly buffering on my end. Mark Faust ran the feed last night at 24kbs and I had no problems hearing his entire show.
Just a request. If you can't or won't I understand. Thanks in advance. __________________

meaning of "ghetto"
In my italian-english dictionary, one definition of "ghetto" (which is a word of italian origin) is "jewish quarter."
All european countries designated a quarter for the jews (until they were kicked out altogether) going back to around 1100 in Kiev. As Stan says, they already self-segregated anyway, but the locals wanted them contained as well. Typically there would be a wall around it and a gate that would be closed during the night. Originally the word just meant "[jewish] quarter" and did not have the nigger-connotations that the word has for us -- filth, violence, decrepitness etc. |
