Hi Eric.

Ah, yes, I thought that was a word as well as a textual reference. I see my goof.

It refers to Ptolemy II sponsoring the translation of the Torah by the 70 Jewish Scholars into Koine Greek in the 3rd Century BCE.

Jews and the Hebrew having such an attachment to the meaning of numbers, likely picking specifically '70' scholars had a significance of some kind, I will look into it. I saw 'Septuaginta' when reading on old traslations of 'soul' in the 'Septuagint' and assumed it meant 'soul' and had some weird Jew attachment to 'seven'.

You know what they say about assuming.

Further, Naphesh also really translates more to 'living being' than 'soul', but it is the Hebrew word used for soul in older bibles of English origin.

'Psyche' and 'living being' were both words used for 'soul' in these texts. 'Pneuma' is used for 'spirit'.

TY for the 'be well', you too.

Hi Ms Henderson,

I just wanted to clarify/shed some more light on this issue:

Quote:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heraclitus

This, along with his cryptic utterance that "all entities come to be in accordance with this Logos" (literally, "word", "reason", or "account") has been the subject of numerous interpretations.

[...]

The meaning of Logos also is subject to interpretation: "word", "account", "principle", "plan", "formula", "measure", "proportion", "reckoning."[31]

[...]

The later Stoics understood it as "the account which governs everything,"[34] and Hippolytus, in the 3rd century CE, identified it as meaning the Christian Word of God.[35]
Quote:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logos

The Stoic philosophers identified the term with the divine animating principle pervading the Universe. ... The Gospel of John identifies the Logos, through which all things are made, as divine (theos),[8] and further identifies Jesus Christ as the incarnate Logos
Quote:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tao

In Chinese translations of the New Testament, λόγος (logos) is translated with the Chinese word dao (道) (e.g. John 1:1), indicating that the translators considered the concept of Tao to be somewhat equivalent to logos in Greek philosophy.

[...]

Tao or Dao (English pronunciation: /daʊ/, DOW; from Chinese: 道; pinyin: About this sound Dāo (help·info)) is a Chinese word signifying 'way', 'path', 'route', 'road', 'choose', 'key' or sometimes more loosely 'doctrine', 'principle' or 'holistic science' [1] . Within the context of traditional Chinese philosophy and religion, the Tao is the intuitive knowing of "life" that cannot be grasped full-heartedly as just a concept but is known nonetheless through actual living experience of one's everyday being.

[...]

In all its uses, the Tao is considered to have ineffable qualities that prevent it from being defined or expressed in words. It can, however, be known or experienced, and its principles (which can be discerned by observing Nature) can be followed or practiced.
Today we might update the terminology as "Larger Consciousness System"/"Absolute Unbounded Manifold" reality .

People like Eckhart Tolle offer the same message without as much scientific terminology:

Eckhart Tolle - What do you believe in?
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2n8lej
Eckhart Tolle - Is there a consciousness to the universe?

BTW I personally don't connect to some of Tom Campbell's hopeful outlandish ideas, like remote viewing or healing or out of body experiences (aside from vivid dreaming), although, I like to be a hopeful person as well.

I've been referencing men only. This woman, although I find her too loose in terms of terminology and application of ideas (Abraham Hicks - interestingly she renamed herself with a male name lol) leads a new age movement, providing a motherly loving positivity:

You'll notice I've referenced White people only.

I'll have to view the vids before I can give an opinion--interesting on the multiple uses of Logos and it being synonymous to some degree with the tao.

Re the part in bold, and being hopeful:

I have not given up on the idea that if I just wake up quickly enough, I can watch muhself sleeping. That'd be danged cool.

Two other ideas relate (IMO) to the ancient European concept of the Logos and how It operates.

1) Carl Jung's synchronicity:

2) The idea of the thing called the Holy Spirit:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Spirit

I don't identity with the stories of the Bible, but wonder about the possibility of whether there was an underlying basis for its creation, and the other holy books around the world.

I was raised with atheist nothingness and started paying attention to these new age gurus in my early 30s which, in hindsight, was very late. Before I'd simply dismiss it all as absolute BS. If you give a kid nothing but science and atheism, then he or she will, to say the least, have a closemindedness towards these concepts (and to be honest, the only thing that finally shook me out of that mindset were the "uncanny events" mentioned earlier), but I'd also add, without these concepts, they may develop a natural negativity, cynicism, pessimism, nihilism towards life, so were I to raise kids I'd want them to be aware of these ideas.

That's not to say that I wouldn't want these ideas balanced with what I consider level-headed pragmatic speakers for our people like Revilo P Oliver, Stephen McNallen (Asatru Folk Assembly), ... even a "checked version" of Dr William Pierce , .. even to some degree people like Adolf Hitler lol.

It should be noted that of those new age men, with perhaps the exception of Tolle who's never said anything on the subject (although I've perceived his regret of not having fathered and being with an Asian), and Tom Campbell for that matter (but the latter is a scientist who had a White family) ... so in other words Alan Watts and Ken Wilber - they have made statements implying they endorse racialism and preserving heritage (because anyone with a brain realizes that if everything is God, then Whites are a component of It, and their physicality was undoubtedly integral to inspiring civilization; even if it wasn't, it's part of our heritage and diversity, and thus deserves preservation).

How do we avoid the personal and cultural traps surrounding race and racism? How do we transcend our racial identity in order to find a deeper, wider, higher identity with an all-encompassing Self and Spirit? And once we figure out how to transcend ourselves, how can we continue to honor the deep wisdom and unique perspectives our ethnic heritage allows?
It should also be noted Carl Jung made sermons for the German Faith Movement, before sHitler (maliciously IMO) banned it:

Carl Jung is interesting, especially his study of symbology. He IMO was a far more sane dude that Freud. Some of Freud's ideas were downright insane themselves, and some were self evident--like children mimicking their parents, and being affected by what they observe. But that's part of studying something, getting it wrong, and then someone like Jung takes the parts that make sense and goes in a different direction.

Interesting on synchronicity, and the mention of Chinese medicine brings up something: the Ayurvedic (Indian) medicine and the Chinese have concepts that do ring true, but they didn't understand why the way a Western scientist would view it. Like putting foods into 'heat' and 'cold' categories, or 'red' and 'yellow' seeming stupid to us, yet what they are calling Qi is perhaps real after all, but it's a tangible thing. Certain ailments are aided by certain foods, certain ailments made worse by others. People with pale skin and red hair tend to be more 'allergic' to things than others, and so on. They were using a trial and error system to cure illness but without certain understanding they were looking at it very differently--still getting some things correct/same conclusion but from a different vantage point.

As for childhoods: I was an extremely into Jesus little kid, but knew all Christians were not 'good', which confused me and I found it disturbing when I was little. Wasn't Jesus in their hearts? Why didn't he 'change' them?

I used to walk right up to people and cheerily tell them that faith 'has to work 24 hours a day'.

But I was always encouraged to question my teachers or what I was reading or watching.

I can't know what a non-religious infused childhood is like but I think it is always wrong for a parent to take away imagination and exploration, as that's part of being a child---you have to 'play' and discover things.

It'd be just as wrong to squash that part of a child's thinking as it is to lie to them and tell them not to doubt your lies.

Since you have asked me several personal questions, peppered with flattery, I will ask you a few.

Have you had kids yet?

Are you a member of the NA? Or some other thingamajig?

Do you know that this thread is about examples of Christ Insanity primarily?

I will now in turn answer the food bank comment.

I've been working since age 19 and am financially independent, as is my suitor.

I had to help when my father died, and wasn't a wild party girl out getting preggers unmarried, sorry to disappoint.

I went back to college to help my mom more than I could as an Assistant Teacher of kids with Autism, blindness, and deaf-blindness. I helped her get the pension that my father's company was trying to cheat her on. Now she is financially independent as well.

Then I had a batch of bad health, turned out to be a PFO (hole in my heart) but they thought I had MS and I had spinal taps, MRIs, and a bleeding hiatal hernia that made me anemic, so I had to have Nissen Fundoplication surgery. Very painful, goo goo dat. Had a very rough time for several years. I was just trying to get through all that. And I did.

My mom had a heart attack and several surgeries, I helped her through all that.

So social life was not top priority for many years, and I take relationships seriously. I had in my life only serious friendships and relationships, not random ones. I did not have kids in my 20s, it would've been nice to have had a more carefree youth, but not my fault and I owe no apologies. I wasn't making marriage a priority. A mistake young people could learn from. But things happen with people that change life course.

Looks like you indicated you are divorced, yet I had no interest in making a comment about it. You're intentions here are nefarious most likely.

You've made remarks about me having babies and what-not repeatedly, it's odd to say the least in a thread about Xtianity.

The 'get it done' was rude and far out of line--and has nothing to do with the topic.

The stuff you're posting is mainly distracting from the topic, and to promote your 'religion'. So to return the rudeness: if you need to go to the food bank to feed a wummin and get her pregnant---get it done, John, as you say.

Craig and I hope to have 2, btw, I'd hope 3 if possible. Let me know if that's sufficient.
...I think you already knew I was not single and who I was with, so the digs are directed at both of us perhaps.

Sorry if my life as an individual, or our life as a couple, don't stack up for you, anonymous fellow. I'm doing my best, as always.

I keep paddling my boat along the river of life, and haven't drowned yet, so I must have done something right.

I have one last question, since you've asked me many: did you ever give Linder some money like you were saying you 'needed' to?

I will make some posts on point now, and the Cosmotheology rip-off cult I'll ignore from here on out.

There really should be a thread for all cults, but this one is for the one cult, Christ Insanity.

Default Children of Gawd

These Christ Insaners are still around to this day, though they became known for their teachings of sex with children being not only okay but commanded, they still exist all over the world.

They started as 'Teens for Christ', but have been called 'The Family' and 'The Children of God' is the name they are most associated with.

Many have committed suicide. Many famous Holly-weird teens are/were former members, like River and Joaquin Phoenix and Rose McGowan.

They illustrate how people who don't think for themselves can be led to do damn near anything, even to their own children.

And how someone can be swimming in Jesus and be rotten to the core.

Default Oops...too late to claim immaculate conception...

Oops.

Legionaries of Christ priest Father Turrion had a secret fambly. Two kids, so he broke his promise to Christ at least twice.

So did another of their priests, Father Williams.

...And, then there is the founder, Rev. Degollado, who abused kids as young as 12.

So all three violated their promise, the founder violating it worst of all because what he did was actually morally wrong to non Christ Insaners, because it is a violation of nature itself.

All that scripture studying, the supposed transformation that takes place when the Holy Spirit fills the saved...and they have the same behavior as you'd see in the middle of a degenerate city anywhere in the world.

'The proof is in the pudding' is akin to 'knowing them by their fruits', one of many borrowed concepts in the NT, but a true one: when you see that something fails over and over, that is indicative of a defect in the product.

The defective product is Christianity and Christ. Get yer $ back (unfortunately the collection plate dough is non-refundable):

I was drunk as a skunk last night Em ... sorry. I've tidied all that up (deleted that junk lol). I'll send Mr Linder some money right now:

https://vnnforum.com/donate.php

And the answer to your question is - no kids, whereas all my childhood friends have and they have solid jobs ... I'm a failed man ... caught up causing. Preacher Smithwick is hereby retiring from the cause as he's said he was going to do, and get his life together. I'm still in my mid 30s so there's sortof time.

If only we had a church ... potentially like the one Mr Cobb tried to organize (I think he needs a better strategy though )... life would be better (also that community housing idea he had was commendable - although I think it's probably better/safer we aren't all located in a small geographic location lol amenable to quick liquidation lol). I'm glad you've found a partner (apologies again for hitting on you Beautiful - we need 1000s more like you).

Preacher Smithwick is now scurrying away with his tail between his legs, very hungover ... may this be a lesson not to drink and post folks ... off to the parental fam for our Canadian Thanksgiving and some harsh manual labor in the form of winterization of the house (which will make the hangover so much more enjoyable lol). Cheers

Forgiven.

And as a non-Christian that give opportunity to point out: the teaching on forgiveness is far more ancient that Xtianity as well. It's not about forgetting what someone did and 'turning the other cheek' should they want to do it some more, though, that teaching is quite Christ-Insane.... but it's about letting go of any bitterness that only harms you. That quote has been attributed to everyone under the sun, but it's origins are here:

In Visuddhimagga IX, 23: Buddhaghosa, in discussing anger, said, "“By doing this you are like a man who wants to hit another and picks up a burning ember or excrement in his hand and so first burns himself or makes himself stink.”

Don't call yourself a failed man, or let anyone else call you one. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving.

Quit drinking.

Default Understanding NT Manuscripts

This is a great blog entry from Ancient Historian Richard Carrier, illustrating some key aspects of the New Testament that Christian Apologists get wrong, yet they look plausible to the undiscerning eye. Well-meaning people often are taken in by what appear to be 'experts' who give convincing accounts of the origins of these manuscripts.

Most people are not trained in papyrology and are not paleographers. Those fields can be even more important than ancient language in discovering the truth on where these docs come from, which is key to knowing about their authorship and the authenticity of their stories.

Sometimes it takes a decade or more for the changing evidence to make it's way into being known to the public as having de-bunked the former expert opinion(s).

From https://www.richardcarrier.info/archives/11209

This part of his blog entry is referring to the 'Josephus Testimonium', or the 'Testimonium Flavianum'. In Book 18, Chapter 3 of the Antiquities, Josephus describes the crucifixion of Jesus at the hands of the Romans....yet it is not authentic.

"..a flurry of positive opinion arose about ten or twenty years ago from excess enthusiasm over the purported discovery of an earlier version of the text in Arabic translation that supposedly “proved” the passage predated Eusebius and said something different. But by 2008 that “discovery” had been debunked in the peer reviewed literature by Josephus expert Alice Whealey: that Arabic translation was in fact of a Syriac translation of Eusebius, and the changes were thus made after him, either by a telephone game of transmission error or by scribal attempts to make the passage more believable. This means all those published opinions before were based on a falsehood. Those opinions therefore can no longer be cited in favor of the passage. Expert opinion has to be re-polled. And obviously, only experts aware of this development should be polled.
This has happened in New Testament (or NT) studies, too.

For example, many papyrus fragments, once dated overly early, have been dated decades or even a century later than previously claimed, after the poor logic and unchecked bias of earlier estimates was exposed. This was well reported by Neil Godfrey, in New Date and More on Dating, which articles are also very educational on what the peer reviewed literature says about the problems dating NT manuscripts. (BTW, Wikipedia will often keep you more up to date than many experts are, with a wonderful catalog of entries on all New Testament papyri, uncials, minuscules, and lectionaries.)

As another example, sixteen years ago David Trobisch published evidence changing the way we understand extant NT manuscripts; and it’s taken a decade for his results to filter into expert knowledge. Interestingly, Trobisch has been tapped to curate Hobby Lobby’s new Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., despite him in no way being a fundamentalist but an actual legit scholar and justifiably renowned expert on biblical manuscripts. Anyway, his book in 2000 presents evidence that makes a significant difference in how we interpret the surviving manuscripts of the Bible.."

I just want to absolutely (and totally doodidilly ) close by saying the ultimate solution IMO is to organize a new faith system to replace Christianity.

I've outlined the concept both on this forum and the other one we don't mention here:

https://vnnforum.com/blog.php?u=23738
https://www.stormfront.org/forum/blogs/u43554/

I reference many things (I've even hidden links to Klassen and Pierce's efforts within (at least within the European American Faith article - and of course by doing that, google removed it from search indexing; however, the British Faith article remains free from any link to those men, and google has honored me by allowing the British Faith to appear on its index).

Em, you are one of the most bright, sweet and well spoken people I've met on these forums. Given that Mr Cobb is your partner (I didn't know this before), I just want to also close here by saying that since we all recognize we need a replacement for Christ-Insanity ... I would even help fund his next attempt at creating a church ... if, IF, ... he took a less polemical approach.

Why not simply call the next attempt: the European American Faith, and why not keep it very simple i.e. a mission statement to have 'sermons' on our history, philosophy, and science (add some comedy, song and dance to make it more fun). Forget Klassen (and Pierce) ... the thing is, we already have an European Faith and Church through the AFA (I was recently billed by them) ... it's just that, I want my 'spirituality' to include more than Odinism, which is why I'm still babbling about this stuff .

This will be my last post (I hope). I'm now retiring from 'causing' .
(And in case there's an Anglican or Lutheran minister who reads this, why don't you incorporate some of these ideas into your church? Or, at least allow us access to the buildings for a couple hours per month.)

Let my last keyboard commandoing be on a fun note lol - ideas for a church lol (?):

This is my absolute last post in this thread (and probably the board too - I have to get a life - this crap is time consuming). Amen and goodbye.

And in case new comers were wondering what I deleted after a drunken night (which included 2 bottles of wine and several beers to myself while my roommate and I watched yet another ridiculous cartoon series called Big Mouth (we're caught up on Rick and Morty, Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, etc lol)), I posted a link to the lunatic Hitler's take on feminism after asking poor Em if she'd had kids yet. And then I posted a vid of Abraham Hicks on Love, and then I posted a NA meeting where Pierce spoke, and then I posted that link she left above "To The Bitter End" (it's interesting that Jews, through their holy book and religion, made celebrations/commemorative days regarding their history's most triumphant victories/tragedies as a people - which I guess is what I was doing there subconsciously). Posting anonymously on forums is, sometimes, like having your frontal lobe inhibitory mechanism removed. A man can be like a dog (especially when drunk), ... sometimes the dog is entertaining and sweet, but other times it barks and growls (this one has never/doesn't bite though .. but it's still largely worthless, unbecoming behavior). Adios (this place has been like a fun summer camp lol, with the security agencies lol, no doubt, being our parental guardians lol) lol

Forget Klassen (and Pierce) ... the thing is, we already have an European Faith and Church through the AFA (I was recently billed by them) ... it's just that, I want my 'spirituality' to include more than Odinism, which is why I'm still babbling about this stuff.

Humma Kavula

TY for the nice comments that were personal--before the thread returns to topic I'll answer one point you made re Craig's 'church' and funding. He wasn't starting a new religion of some sort as you might think.

I wrote the contract on the Nome Church, and he/we had several possible intentions for it, Craig thought of possibly using it to help young families in the Creativity Movement, or we'd live there, or we'd fix it up and sell it.

I jokingly suggested we turn it into a White Genocide Holocaust Museum, to show the history of the orchestrated decline of the White race.

The man selling it did not have proof of his ex being off the deed, so I wrote a contract and factored that in. Because in part of that contract they weren't able to steal his $8k, they returned it. I also think they were worried he'd litigate for the misrepresentation, which he could've.

He is an Independent Creator. I still like Klassen and Pierce, but I'm an Atheist primarily.

Craig's polemic approach is not to win friends--I think at times an 'antagonist' is a good thing, when you want to command attention to something. It's not an 'always' style--meaning it's not the same as inviting one to your meeting or home, but if you are on camera and want them to get the point--and they're against you anyway--might as well make it over the top.

Like Craig did in naming it the 'President Donald J Trump Creativity Church of Rome.' This is for a purpose, not unintentional. We had talked of how interesting it was the town was called 'Nome', so similar to Rome. I joked that if we took over the tiny town and filled it with Creators we'd call it 'Rome' to honor Klassen, who cited Rome as the pinnacle of White Western civilization.

Because Craig named it that, it was in the Washington Post.
That kind of thing is to create attention that otherwise wouldn't be there if you did something less campy and unique. It's not how one does all things, but to create propaganda that gets noticed, it's 200% effective, lol. Craig is good at this, no doubt, similar to Anglin and others who hit certain 'no no' points well, and cause much guffawing. There is a place for that, especially with re to media of course.

Good luck with your endeavors, would be nice to use those Churches as the Danes do.

Default England: Even Christards Reject Creationism in High Numbers

...Which would mean they should take step 2 and abandon the rest since the foundation is cracked to shit.

"..just 16% of believers accept the creation myth – according to which, in the words of the questionnaire, “humans and other living things were created by God and have always existed in their current form”. Only 9% of all Britons reject evolutionary theory..."

https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...iritual-divide

And yet another study cited within this piece takes away the Xtian argument that Xtians are some sort of minority whom 'Science Atheists' work against--

"..According to a separate survey by the Scientific and Medical Network (SMN) – a group devoted to marrying evidence-based science and spiritual practice – 25% of professionals working in science, medicine and engineering describe themselves as atheists, and 45% as religious (practising or not) or “spiritual”.."

So, here you have:

--Xtians glossing over their own beliefs when they don't add up...yet keeping the 'faith'. The very definition of deluded, believing in something when the evidence adds up to 'no way, Jose'.
and
--Most Scientists who are Evolutionists are not anti-Christ Atheists, but either religious or Christians in actuality.

Xtianity is like a bad habit that, because so dang many people do it and it's comfortable, it's 'traditional', and you have memory associated with it---it's not dropped like the silliness and dishonesty it is...the silliness and dishonesty are simply ignored and the parts liked are the parts acknowledged.

That's no different from race.

Whites will move to a gated community and have a 'segregated' life, then will pretend they believe all races are equal...so long as they don't have to face the reality of the 'equality' talk they are spewing.

Same with this: if you really confront them with their own text, they are quite uncomfortable. Just like asking a 'non racist' White if they would like to put little Johhny or Suzy in an 85% black school.

Their reaction? Fidget city.

Would be 0.9% if they didn't class niggers, Muslims and the rest of third world filth infecting the country as 'British'.

Haha, ain't that the troof.

It's a real odd sight, the dotheads, muzzies, and Somalians listening to a school marm teach them about the Royal House of Stewart and whatnot.

Those people do not care about England or its history, they just want the 'stuff' they get in being there. Occupied territory, itz.

Default Quality Relationships Give u Long, Good Life; Religion = Death and No Brainz

Knowing people, whether they be family or community, actually care about you, will keep your memory intact, and keep you alive longer.

"There isn't time, so brief is life, for bickerings, apologies, heartburnings, callings to account; there is only time for loving.
And but an instant, so to speak, for that."---Mark Twain

Case study on happiness, intergenerational, proves up that the one thing that impacts you most in life is whether you feel the people around you really care for you.

So the massive gang-bang to get people to accept your cult cuz it's lucrative is really fucking stupid, it creates a poor quality of life for all, including the person doing it.

This is not just for Christ isansers, it applies across the board.

The fact that people want to create such a miserable world, to build a giant gang that can defeat the others, of your own race, for no good reason (but to rake in the most $, not find truth and build good things), is insane.

I have a special burning passion against it, religious abuse of people. I'd hope to see it defeated in my lifetime.

If you want religious freedom, go somewhere and get it, with your fellow idiots, and leave other people alone. Do it for free if you really have a sincere desire to 'better the world' with whatever you've been 'selling'.

All 'pastors' of any faith should be told: Get a job.

Default Sorry but Kollige Didn't Make Your Kid an Atheist, Here's Proof

http://www.patheos.com/blogs/tipplin...ling-religion/

"..The findings from the UCLA survey are consistent with another*recent survey*by PRRI, which found that most Americans who have left their childhood religion did so before reaching adulthood. Seventy-nine percent of young adults age 18 to 29 who have become religiously unaffiliated report having made this decision during their adolescent and teen years..."

And the unaffiliated/atheist/agnostic population are still a World minority.

Boomers tended to hold on to their Xtianity until College or Post College, but those who 'see the light' are able to do so sooner these days, likely due to the interwebs.

(((Their))) biggest fear: INFORMATION.

I just want to absolutely (and totally doodidilly ) close by saying the ultimate solution IMO is to organize a new faith system to replace Christianity.
Good luck.

Cosmotheism and Creativity both have been around for 40 years or more. How many serious adherents of either religion in the world today? You will be lucky to find over a thousand or two. And that's being generous.

Both Klassen and Pierce tried to "reinvent the wheel."

Why not look back to ancient times before Christinsanity took hold over our people?

Seems a better way to go instead of playing on the Christards' playing field, i.e. "faith".

Take a look at rational hedonism:
